About this property

Notting Hill Garden Flat

Our newly refurbished garden apartment is situated in the heart of Notting Hill and is 2 minutes walk and 150metres from the underground. It has been tastefully decorated with a sense of "home away from home". The kitchen is fitted with an induction hob, a combination microwave/convection oven, dishwasher and washing machine. We also provide a nespresso machine and milk warmer/throthing machine and coffee pods for your stay. The kitchen cupboard has all the basics for cooking - salt, pepper, oil, tea, sugar etc. A drying rack for washed clothes is also provided. The bedroom has two wardrobes for hanging clothes and storage. The living room has a TV with local channels plus the facility to log into your netflix account if you have one. Our broadband supplier provides good quality wifi. Our garden level apartment includes a large bedroom with a NEW SUPER KING size bed , bathroom with shower, open kitchen and living area and french doors leading onto a secluded patio garden. We accommodate up to 3 people with the day bed in the living room turning into a single bed or provide a luxury blow up mattress if you find that more comfortable.
The Notting Hill area combines the quirky bohemian charm of Portobello market with its antiques, vintage shops and art galleries with some of London's top designer shops in the wealthy enclave of Westbourne Grove. Like the Marais in Paris, or East village in New York it is both a top tourist destination with the expensive real estate in London, yet retains its colourful and distinctive friendly neighbourhood atmosphere. Many of the main tourist attractions of central London are a short walk across the royal parks through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens which is a ten minute walk.

Lovely vacation rental

This wonderfully appointed flat is ideally situated near local transit. The secluded outdoor garden space expands the living area and adds to the overall comfortable feel. Truly a home away from home.

Great location, charming apartment

This apartment is in the perfect location...centrally located to a tube stop and within walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants...etc. The owner was pleasant and efficient to deal with and the apartment was really cute with a functional kitchen and shower with great water pressure. I would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to London.

Outstanding flat near everything you'd want.

This flat with garden is a perfect place to stay in London. It's mere steps away from the Notting Hill Gate tube and every amenity one can think of, but is still on a quiet, pleasant street. We've stayed and lived in several places in London and this flat is exceptional. When a bit of communication was needed with the owner, the response came with an hour or so. She was lovely to work with and we'd happily stay there again, without a doubt

Absolutely Fabulous!

What a lovely flat! So many details laid out for the never-before-been to London traveler (which is NOT me) making it easy for a new comer to get around and feel comfortable in the location they choose. Lovely finishings and the outdoor garden space is amazing. Well stocked pantry will all the little things you'd need for a longer stay - and a well thought out list of local eats, drinks and walks. The space is light and welcoming and I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend to another traveller.

Notting Hill heaven!

From start to finish everything was perfect in Desley's property. From the time I first booked (which was 5 months in advance of my stay), she was responsive to all of my questions. She provided us with a list of lovely suggestions for shops, restaurants etc. She even met us with a welcome basket. The flat was perfect and in the most wonderful location! It's so close to the underground station that we were able to get all around London with no problems at all. I would highly recommend this property for a fantastic stay in a magical city!

Wonderful Place

London at Your Doorstep

From the beginning of the process, Desley has been extremely easy to communicate with, despite time differences, etc. The flat itself is not only perfectly located, but immediately made us feel like we had made the right choice! The flat was quaint, clean, easy to find and extremely convenient to explore this incredible city. Desley personal touches with our welcome basket were not only a nice welcoming touch, but extremely thoughtful! MICE, MOLD AND HYGIENE MALPRACTICE!

Don't be misled by the nice photos and high ratings for this property! We arrived to find hair and a used razor in the bathroom, a stain and hair on the bed sheets and filthy windows throughout our newly “cleaned” apartment. The property is on the ground floor — very dark most of the time and extremely damp. There is mold and peeling paint on the walls, which affect the quality of the air inside the apartment. The "garden" is poorly maintained and mostly looks onto brick walls. The final straw, forcing us to abandon the apartment five days before our scheduled departure, was watching a mouse scamper across the kitchen floor. This is a gloomy and very unhealthy property!

Lovely flat is well stocked with essentials

Desley is a delight and was willing to check us in early, after our hotel checkout. The apartment is in a great location and such a wonderful place to return to after a day of sightseeing. The King sized bed is comfortable, we enjoyed the large shower and we made good use of the Nespresso each morning. We will be back!

Notting Hill Knockout

The flat was spacious and well-lighted with many amenities—loved the huge shower, the comfortable king bed, the well-stocked kitchen, the garden. The location could not have been more perfect. Safe neighborhood with small ethnic eateries and a beautiful cinema across the street. Plus a short walk to the Tube & everywhere. The owner was just a text away, which was extraordinarily important when we had a small medical issue. The steps could be an issue for some, but we are 75 years old and had no problems. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect London Flat!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in Desley’s flat. It is very conveniently located in Notting Hill, just up the street from the underground transportation. Grocery stores and restaurants are all around. We loved walking in nearby Hyde Park on our way to lots of other walkable historic London sites. Desley was super nice and answered all my questions. We would stay here again!

Gorgeous and great location!

This apartment was fantastic! It was in the absolutely most perfect spot - only a 1/2 block from the tube. Best, it was off the main street so it was quiet, but an incredibly short walk to the Tesco, pubs, shops. Desley was also wonderful! She got us checked in with pretty much all we needed. She was wonderufl with suggestions and had a fantastic book with recommendations for pretty much everything. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was big and comfortable - we had a WONDERFUL stay.

Amazing flat in perfect location!

We had a fantastic stay at this flat in Notting Hill. It is right next to notting hill gate tube stop so it’s very easy to get all around London. You could also spend all your time in Notting Hill perusing the wonderful shops, restaurants and beautiful architecture. The flat was perfect for the three of us. The sofa bed was very large and very comfortable and there were ample pillows and blankets. We especially enjoyed the wonderful garden area and it really opens up the home and makes the living space quite large. Everything went very smoothly and any questions we had were promptly answered. Can’t wait to stay again on our return to London!

Great flat, great location!

We loved this flat! Spotless, great location, it had everything you could possibly need! Desiley and Ladi were perfect hosts, they checked on us, left us staples like bread, eggs, tea...not to mention the wonderful binder full of great info about the area! If you are looking for an authentic "local" feel, this is the perfect place, we felt like locals!

Perfect location, Charming flat, Outstanding host

Wonderful spot in Notting Hill with special attention to details throughout. So very close to all the happenings of Notting Hill and conveniently a few steps away from the Underground. The hotel a few doors down was a lovely stop on the way "home" for a night cap, too! Desley kindly waited through my long delay in arriving to the flat, to greet me and overview all. A vase of fresh daffodils and basket of eggs, milk, bread, butter and sweets was left, which was delightful! A notebook full of details and suggestions rounded out what was a lovely, comfortable stay. Additionally, Desley kindly checked in with me on my second day to make certain all was well, and graciously went searching for a left behind item after my departure (she found it, and arranged a plan for me to pick up before I left the city). Over and beyond effort, greatly appreciated!! This flat is where I'd return on my next visit to London. Truly perfect and brilliant in every way!!

Situé à 2 pas de la station de métro Notting Hill Gate, ce magnifique studio est spacieux et très bien décoré. L'équipement est très complet, rien ne manque. Le lit est d'excellente qualité. L'accueil de Desley est vraiment très chaleureux. Elle fait preuve de beaucoup de souplesse. Nous avons reçu à notre arrivée un beau panier garni. Unkomplizierte, sehr aufmerksame Vermieterin. Die Wohnung war sauber, tiptop eingerichtet. Man kann gut selber kochen, ohne etwas mitbringen zu müssen; sogar Milch, Butter und Brot für ein erstes Morgenessen waren in einem schönen Korb in der Küche. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wohnung liegt ruhig, aber unmittelbar an der U-Bahnstation - ideale Lage!

Wonderful!

This apartment was perfect for my husband, college aged son, and myself. The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished. The shower is wonderful! We loved the Notting Hill location. It was so nice to go out and enjoy the tourist sights of the city and then come back "home" to a neighborhood feel. Every restaurant that Desley recommended was great. We visited Paris right after London and I honestly thought the food was better in London, thanks to the great recommendations! The area is just beautiful and we enjoyed walking to Portobello Market and exploring the local neighborhood and down to Kensington park. It is also very close to a tube station which was very convenient. There is no question in my mind that we would definitely stay here again if we come back to London.
