Enjoyable

Very clean and served us well for a weekend getaway. We come here to the resort a few times a year and it is always a good time. Local contact very responsive although we didn't have any problems, just questions which were answered promptly. Plenty of room for a group or family here!

Check-in was easy and the hosts had sweet welcoming touches. There were ample pillows, towels, etc. There were a few things that could use improvement- not all of the stove burners worked and the dining chairs were pretty wobbly. The downstairs tub drained slowly. The furnishings were nice, but I think the carpet could use a deep clean. It was a nice place, could just use a little spruce up.

Great stay

Other than mother nature, the stay was great. Our Host was very helpful. He came down when we had a black out and had trouble with the smoke alarms. He answer his text when we reached out. Perfect location, close to Disney. Our stay was very homey and we enjoyed staying.

Great vacation experience

Really loved the stay. Great communication and prompt reply from host. Location is great for Disney and amenities were near (groceries, Walmart and so on) Gates community with outdoor swimming pool, sauna jet pool and great for walking. This was for frailly of 6 with 2 children.

Great place for great price

We really enjoyed the stay. It was pretty clean, and there were a lot items that were useful to have around such as books, umbrella, tubes for swimming and so on. Perfect location and quiet place for family vacation. Also, Gwen (contact for renting) was really prompt and clear in replies with all questions. Really appreciated fast replies. This was for family of 6 people, two adults and two children and 2 seniors.

Vacation refresh

Overall the resort was a beautiful spot to stay at. This being said the unit itself is out dated and needs a refresh. The unit also requires a deep clean as the carpets were dirty and dust was substantial. We ended up needing to purchase cleaning supplies to combat which isn’t ideal while on vacation.

Location was perfect. Carpet needs to be replaced. Old and stained. Furniture is dated. Otherwise nice property. Sent email to property manager about possible late checkout. Received an email back 5 days later

Lovely area

Property is okay but in need of TLC. Several doors off, 1/2 the burners worked on the stove, cigarette burns in couch & carpet - despite listed as a “non-smoking unit” , issues with internet, never could make TV in living room work… could be such a cute place. Very area, fun pool & “crazy” river. They Don’t allow children under the age of 12 in the hot tub which was an issue for us since the weather was a bit chilly.

Hi Elizabeth, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. After reviewing your concerns with our property manager, it seems there may have been some miscommunication.- Our property manager, Paul, informed us that he had multiple conversations with you during your stay, and the only complaint he received was regarding the internet, which was unfortunately down for all units in Regal Palms. Although this was something outside of our control, we're truly sorry this had a negative impact on your stay. - Regarding the doors, it appears there was some confusion about a folding door in the downstairs bedroom. Upon inspection after your departure, we did find it had been knocked loose. We will follow up with our maintenance team and make the necessary repairs. - Regarding the condition of the furniture, while there is noted damage to the sofa, there are no cigarette burns on the carpet or elsewhere in the property. Our recent inspection, conducted by my wife, who visited the property before the last guests checked in, did not reveal any such damage.Furthermore, we had a thorough check of the stove, and all burners were found to be functioning properly.We regret any misunderstandings or inconveniences you experienced and appreciate your understanding. We strive to provide a pleasant and comfortable stay for all our guests and will address any issues promptly. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Did the job for an extended weekend

We loved the resort and really enjoyed our stay. The townhome itself lacked some necessities (seasonings, toilet paper and paper towel had to be requested after you ran out of the first roll, etc.) So an extra stock that is accessible would be nice to keep at the property. Aside from that, the only other issue we had was that only two of the burners worked on the stove and the vacuum wouldn’t suck anything up when we were cleaning before we headed out…but we made due! Otherwise, it was a great vacation and we would definitely love to stay at the resort again. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space. Washer and dryer worked great. It was a quick drive down to the pool area. Plenty of dishes and silverware for everyone, we cooked every meal during our stay so it was nice to have all of that on hand! Definitely recommend.
