Mel and Ben were amazing hosts, and their beautiful property was well equipped for our family's needs whilst on holiday. The location of their home was amazing, with only a twenty-minute drive to Kaiteriteri and an 8 minute drive to Mapua. The pool was inviting and we were very fortunate to have fantastic weather throughout our stay. Thank you Men & Ben for our wonderful stay.

Beautiful location for a holiday

We loved staying at Mel’s place. It’s the perfect location to explore the region. The house had everything we needed and the pool was great, we even swam at night time to enjoy the pool lights! We would recommend to anyone. It would be an excellent place for families too.

Great location and family experience

Lovely property in a great location. Great place to unwind and relax whilst being a short drive from all the shops etc that you might need. Lots of living areas so space for all. We really loved staying with 3 generations in the house.

Such a Beautiful home' we have loved staying here' we have been here twice over the years and will most definitely be back again for round 3 . It is so peaceful here and has beautiful views and extremely clean and tidy. The pool is fantastic and so is the new spa addition ' Also has a beautiful bath spa inside' we also enjoy. playing pool down stairs is a hit with the family every stay also. The hosts are fabulous people to deal with' this has been a 10/10 place to stay every time' highly recommend!!

Relaxing Holiday

This is the first property that was better than the photos. The morning vistas sitting outside having breakfast was just fantastic, but the night view of seeing the Nelson lights whilst we could relax with family over a few drinks was just magnificent.Then being able to swim in the pool and unwind in the hot tub is just an adventure in itself.

A piece of paradise

We absolutely loved our stay in Redwood Valley. The property exceeded our already high expectations and the owners did everything possible to make it an incredible stay. The place was spotless with lots of welcoming touches. With avid readers in the family the well stocked bookshelves were such a bonus. Couldn’t recommend it higher

Most Magnificent in Mapua

This holiday escape is the place to be! Surrounded by nature, fruit trees, lush gardens, and young animals, the pool, the games room, walk-in shower and fire pit will provide all the luxury and relaxation if you choose to stay in! Mel & Dan were beyond amazing with our family of 9, grandparents down to our young children, we were all catered to, and they made our stay (which needed to be lengthened at short notice) effortless, responding to any and all questions or communications we had on the spot. We couldnt speak more highly of The Orange Grove! ...see you again soon!
