Honey Harbour Hideaway | Private Beach, Dock & Sunset Views

Welcome to the Honey Harbour Hideaway, a cedar-lined waterfront cottage on Little Beausoleil Island in Georgian Bay. Made for one family or a couple, it sleeps up to 5 guests in two bedrooms: one with a double and single bed, and one with a double bed.

Inside, the open-concept kitchen, dining and living space is built for long breakfasts and board-game nights. A heritage fireplace made from Georgian Bay stone anchors the room as a decorative showpiece. The cottage also has a full kitchen, updated washroom with shower, high-speed Starlink internet, Smart TV, air conditioning and a heat pump.

Outside is where the Hideaway shines:

• Private 20 ft floating dock and boat slip
• Sandy beach entry, swim ladder and floating lilypad
• 4 kayaks, including 2 adult and 2 children's kayaks
• Southwest-facing deck with sunset views over Georgian Bay Islands National Park
• Outdoor shower, gas barbecue, picnic table and Muskoka chairs
• Outdoor campfire area with firewood, horseshoe pit, lawn games and children's toys

The park's hiking trails, lookouts and quiet coves are a short paddle or boat ride away.

Important access information: this is a water-access-only island cottage with no road access and no onsite vehicle parking. It is about a 15-minute boat ride from the marinas in Honey Harbour. Guests arrive in their own boat, with a local rental, or by water taxi. Mainland marina parking is paid separately, and guests should arrange transportation before arrival.

Please bring drinking water. The cottage has full indoor plumbing, but the water is drawn from the lake and is not potable.

The Hideaway is family-run and best suited to one family or a couple. Maximum 5 guests. No parties or events. One dog is welcome at no extra charge.

Had a great week on the Island with great views and sunsets. The Cottage very clean with all the amenities you would want during our stay. Great frontage that included a very nice sand area. National Park is a few minutes away for great hikes. All in all, very nice cottage in a great location.

This property met and exceeded our expectations! Our golden retriever couldn’t have been happier both in the water and lounging on the deck in the evenings. Matt answered any questions we had quickly, property is a nice easy trip from the marina and docking at the property is excellent. All amenities were in great working order and nothing was missed.Had an incredible week and will be booking again.

Honey Harbour puts you in the heart of Georgian Bay's 30,000 Islands. We love the mix of open water, granite shoreline, pine forest and sunsets, with Georgian Bay Islands National Park just across the bay. The island feels peaceful and removed, yet the marinas are about a 15-minute boat ride away.

What makes this property unique

The cottage sits directly on the Canadian Shield shoreline with a private 20 ft dock, sandy beach entry and southwest views across the national park. Guests can swim, paddle one of four included kayaks, relax in Muskoka chairs, gather around the outdoor fire pit, and end the day under a wide, dark sky. Inside, warm cedar and a heritage Georgian Bay stone fireplace give the cottage its character, while Starlink internet, air conditioning, a heat pump and a Smart TV add modern comfort.
