The nature around the cottage is beautiful! The cottage is older and simple but very well organized and maintained. There is a canoe and paddle boat to use and the host has all very well organized like safety vest and safety kit. The dock was helpful if you have your own boat and the clean and shallow water allows for safe swimming! Hope to be able to go there again!
This is a lovely cottage that immediately felt like home. The view of the lake from the windows and the deck was gorgeous and everything was super comfy. The reclining chairs in the living room were great for watching some TV on a rainy day and for sunny weather the outdoor offerings were fantastic. The little bay the cottage is on was perfect for stand-up paddleboarding as it was protected from the wind on the rest of the lake. There were lots of birds around to photograph (including a few loons out on the lake) and lots of little fish to catch from the dock and a few larger fish biting further out in the lake. This is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle for some rest and relaxation and to reconnect with nature.
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage has excellent beds, its clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the swimming in the bay and paddling around the local area.
Clean and quaint Lovely viewsAttentive hostsWe enjoyed the loons! Unfortunately we weren’t able to swim due to the vegetation Close to a few attractions for day trips.
My family and I had a very nice stay at this cottage. The cottage was clean and bed were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed eating on the large beautiful deck overlooking the lake with the beautiful rock face across from us. The cottage is on a bay so not too busy with boat traffic even on a long weekend. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend with coffee on the dock every morning. We took an excursion to the Big Chute Marine Railway which was really cool to see.As mentioned there are quite a bit of weeds so we did not swim and you can hear the traffic from the 400 hwy but it was still relaxing. We arrived after sunset and there is no light over the door you enter but parked our car and had our car lights on pointed at the door to help us see in . Discovered later there are patio lights and when my husband came up the following evening we had those on for him and he had no trouble unloading in the dark . An fyi is that it’s just a shower in the bathroom no bathtub. We saw the boards for the game of cornhole and didn’t see the beanbags for throwing until the day we left - maybe next time we will get to play. All in all it was a pleasant stay. Thank you to our host .
Clean, cozy cottage had everything you would need and plenty of space for a family of 4. Great location on a quiet bay and easy to get to. Friendly host and very accommodating. Only drawback was there was a lot of grass in the water at the time we were there and was not good for swimming
Relaxing weekend at a true cottage. Nothing fancy but had everything you could need. A great place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy quality time with friends or family. Great space inside and out. Beautiful scenery. Host was very accommodating and had open communication with us. Would definately come back again.
We had a fantastic time at this cottage! The VRBO description is honest and accurate — though the photos don’t convey the charm of this cozy cottage. We would rent this again in a heartbeat! Thanks again to the owner who made sure we had everything we needed.
Clean and cozy cottage. Had all the supplies we needed. Perfect for the 4 of us. Gorgeous location with miles of water to explore. Jeff was great and helped us find the best spot to launch our boat. Would book here again!
Was everything we were looking for! Great dock, dog friendly, comfortable cottage with all the amenities one needs and more!
Enjoyed a wonderful family break making memories, fishing, canoeing, dogs jumping off dock and of course an evening with a fire and making smores! We will definitely be back!
The cottage was very clean inside and out, really showed pride of ownership. The communication with the owner was excellent. We would definately visit again. CW

This is the first I'm hearing the seadoo was rented. I was under the impression the client owned the seadoo an knew how to use it. Since the water level was too low to launch on my front lawn, I provided him with directions to the nearest free, launch with a concrete ramp - for safety.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, newly renovated cottage! It truly felt like a home away from home—beautifully decorated, very clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage was warm, inviting, and well maintained, with lots of attention to detail. We especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to go fishing and spend time outdoors. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy some quality time away.We really appreciated having everything we needed right at our fingertips. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped getaway, especially for those who enjoy fishing and nature. We would love to stay here again! Thanks.
