Tranquil Pool Villa In The Country Side

Located in nature, in the traditional working mountainous village of Bezirgan near Kalkan on the Mediterranean coast, our villa offers a great holiday opportunity for large families and group of friends. With its 3 bdrs and 3 baths (2 are en suites) it can accommodate 6 people with ease. The large pool, serviced daily, is private and sheltered, the gardens are vast and gorgeous, with mature almond, apricot, pear, olive and etc trees.

In Bezirgan, 700 m above the town of Kalkan, one can enjoy the tranquility and serenity, surrounded by beautiful and lush fields, breezy and cool mountains, herds of goats and sheep and get awaken by the song birds in the morning.

In Bezirgan, the time had truly stood still! The residents of Kalkan, as they’ve done for centuries, retreat there for the summer, to escape the heat and noise of the coast. Look out for cedar-wood storage houses (ambars) once used to store grain in the winter, and enjoy a Turkish brew in the tea house under the walnut tree in the centre of the village. If you visit in May, the valley is covered in scarlet poppies, where our villa takes its name from.


A very famous 18km stretch of sandy beach is 30min away- Patara beach! Protected as turtle nesting grounds, is unpolluted and unspoiled, with turquoise, crystal clear water going shallow 1/2 mile in. The water is balmy warm, from June well into October.


Bezirgan is 1h45min from Dalaman airport near Fethye or 2h30min from Antalya airport.

If one has a rental car waiting at the airport of choice, to be dropped at fly-out, it’s most convenient way to travel.


Kalkan and nearby Kas are to be explored for awesome food and shopping, vibrant with beach clubs and night life.

If you’re a hiker, the Lycian trail is nearby, offering endless routes to explore the beautiful mountains, surrounding the coast line and the village.

The Greek Island of Meis is accessible by daily ferry or various boat tours, where you can savoir the Mediterranean cuisine and surrender to shopping therapy.
