The property itself was beautiful, and the view was amazing. The host was quick to respond with trip suggestions and to answer any questions we had. We had a great experience here.
We loved the privacy and beauty of this location. The daily train was a huge hit with our grandson. The lake and nearby trails were enjoyed by all and the house was nicely outfitted. Thank you for sharing your story and your lovely home with our family. It helped make this part of our vacation memorable.
Amazing cabin on the lake. Easy drive to Seward to eat, shop, and fish. Nice weather to hang out on the back patio. Cool to see the train pass by several time a day. Spent several day just hanging out down by the lake.

It was a pleasure staying at this cabin in the woods. It had everything we needed and the owners were great to work with. Easy access to Seward and right on the water.

We are so glad you enjoyed the cabin and the lake!
The house is great. Many neat touches. Owners spent a lot of time and effort to make a nice home. Crossing the railroad tracks to get to lake added to the experience. Only item that makes us not give it a 10 rating is the stairs to the door from parking area. Suggestion would be a landing area to manage luggage and top stair needs to be leveled.
The log cabin was truly a delight. This is one of the best rental home experiences that we have ever had. The log home was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. I cannot recommend this rental more, my only hesitation is that it will become so popular that I will not be able to book it again.
Great location, the cabin is awesome. Truly a special place. Make sure and grab a bag of marshmallows, because relaxing by the fire pit on the lake beachfront, skipping stones with the kids is one of those memories that'll stick with ya. The cabin has all the comforts you could want, and its an easy drive to Seward, tons of great hiking trails, and some of the most beautiful sights
We loved this house! The distance from Seward was exactly what we were wanting. A bit secluded but not terribly far from town. The lake was beautiful amd we enjoyed reading the history of the home in the information book!
We loved it! Do not hesitate to book. The cabin is close to Seward and is in a beautiful area. We hope to return again.

The house was amazing. It was super comfortable and absolutely beautiful.
We really enjoyed our stay. Marion took care of every request in a prompt manner. The house is gorgeous and having the lake right down a short path on the back of the house was perfect (breathtaking views). We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

It makes me so happy to read about how much everyone appreciates the beach and views from Kenai Lake. It is my favorite part of living at Kenai Cove.
Absolutely perfect! I can’t rave enough about our stay. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, we fell in love with this cabin. It was cozy, yet spacious and wonderfully comfortable. The beautiful lake is only about 100 meter walk and the cabin was stocked with fishing poles. Marion and Jesse were quick to respond to messages and gave great tips on fishing (both at Kenia lake and in the area). The cabin is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Seward but it was worth staying a bit farther out…Stock up at Safeway and you won’t need to leave the cabin. There is a train that goes in between the property and the lake but it was actually fun to see it come by twice per day. This is hands down one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed at.

GREAT cabin and easy living while in Alaska
The cabin was really top notch - had everything we could think of. Perfect place, about 50-yards to the lake where you can build fire and relax on water's edge. The entire cabin is very clean, tidy with all of the amenities - nothing was out of place. 15 minute drive into town where we could shop for groceries, eat out or catch a fishing boat to the bay. Hiking trails everywhere - would come back and stay here year round if we could! Thanks Marion!

No problem, Jerry! You guys are always welcome. We love it when people take advantage of the lake and all the amazing things to do around the Kenai Peninsula!
We truly enjoyed our stay in the cabin on Kenai Lake. The cabin was clean and everything was in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality cookware. Bedding was nice and comfortable. We enjoyed using our telescope to look for bears and mountain goat on the mountain. We saw both. We even caught a few trout in the lake. I would recommend this rental highly.

About the host
Hosted by Marion Glaser
Jesse and Marion share a love for the outdoors and for Alaska. We both enjoy hiking, skiing, biking, hunting, fishing and any other excuse to get outside. We are happy to meet any of our guests' needs or answer any questions, so don't hesitate to call if you're staying at Kenai Cove!
Why they chose this property
The construction of Kenai Cove Cabin has been an incredible adventure. We started clearing the property for this dream log cabin in January of 2009. The log shell was erected that summer with the help of friends and family. We worked on the cabin while completing graduate school, working for the Forest Service, enjoying outdoor adventures, and starting a family. Our home was finally finished in 2013. We are honored to share it with you!
What makes this property unique
The handcrafted nature of the home and its unique features make it a place you'll fall in love with. It's a beautiful and quiet location with access to your own beach on the beautiful Kenai Lake.
