Overall the property was nice. The room was clean and the ocean view was terrific. It served our purpose but I must comment on some particular items so that they may be addressed by the owner. The front door was difficult to open and close because it scrapped metal to metal when opening and closing. It was rusty and dirty. Needs to be replaced. The washer kept getting out of balance no matter what size load was being washed, so we did not wash as much as planned. The toilet paper fixture in the master bathroom kept falling apart. It needs to be replaced. One of the chairs on the balcony was unstable (it rocked). Finally, no regular cable stations were available. Very boring TV selection. There were no beach amenities available, but for a family flying into Pensacola, we had to purchase beach chairs (they were very expensive to rent at the beach). We left them there for future guests. Thank you.

The stay was good, we really enjoyed the beach and local restaurants. We observed a broken painting when we arrived, thinking it would be replaced, due to the obvious damage. We were charged by Southern Vacation Rentals 74 to replace this painting, which we did not damage. Policy. It appears management did not contact the previous renter or the cleaning service to find who had damaged the painting. Poor communication. We see the management company not taking care of the customer. The work crews onsite were polite and only woke us one morning. There was normally only one operating elevator and the staircase was open 1/2 the time. We do not recommend Southern Vacation Rentals.

Blue Angels

We rented the condo for blue angels week. It was a nice balcony to watch it from especially with having a 10 month old. We were able to walk to restaurants nearby. Perfect condo for a small group!
