We liked our stay!

Place is very clean neat and everything you need is provided,Only thing that needs to be fixed is the bed in the master bedroom, it is not stable and made a lot of noise it was not comfortable. Overall we had a nice and pleasant stay.

Fall Hiking Trip

This was a beautiful property located within 10 minutes of downtown Front Royal which has restaurants, shopping and grocery stores! The entrance to Shenandoah Valley Park is less than 10 minutes away also making this a great location to stay! This is a hikers dream! The property is completely renovated and stocked nicely! We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to everyone! Only two small negative things to consider is there was no TV in the family room, but there are TV’s in each bedroom! Also the showers are extremely small! But we managed quite well and would definitely consider staying here again!

Didn't realize the one bed was a double lower portion of a bunk bed - that was unfortunate;Grill ran out of gas almost immediately and fire pit tank was also empty. Had to request toilet paper and paper towels. Owner quickly responded indicating location of spare propane tanks and had other supplies delived to us quickly as well so that was good;Location was great, house and grounds otherwise were very nice

Hi Elizabeth, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:- The bathrooms are on the smaller side, and while we’ve received a few comments before, it’s part of the home’s original design- We’ve furnished the living room with several seating options, but we’re sorry it didn’t meet your expectations for comfort- The patio furniture had been grouped together due to high winds before your arrival—this helps prevent damage to items or them being blown over the deck- We own the adjacent home and occasionally stop by to deliver requested items. We understand this may have felt unexpected, and we will be more mindful about communicating clearly moving forwardThanks for taking the time to leave your review.

Country Home

This is a two unit house - upper and lower. The living areas are roomy. The two baths are quit small. Noise can be a factor if both units are in use. The warning to limit access to FWD vehicles is accurate. The lane is not paved and quite rutty. Otherwise, it's a nice place. About a ten minute drive to downtown.

Very clean cozy house

Beautiful colors and decor throughout! Gorgeous deck with stringed lights! Very clean! I wasn't expecting the road to be on such a slope. A lot of bumps on the gravel road. Watch out for ticks!!! It is a little awkward with the downstairs neighbor. Played loud music or TV late in the night. But, that could've been because we sounded loud above them? Overall, I would still stay there again but, would use spray for ticks on everyone before going outside.
