The trails are just across the street and are lite to enjoy them during the evening. After a day of skiing, snowshoeing or just taking a walk, come inside and warm up with the wood fireplace.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bring your essential oils and relax in the Jacuzzi tub , the couch can be converted to an extra single bed, washer and dryer available, wood burning fireplace (Sept-May) gas barbecue grill and wood fire pit (May-Oct) Roku is available in the living room and master bedroom with Wifi and a Blu-ray player is available. The cottage was originally a log home. Some of the logs have been preserved inside the cottage. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom. We welcome families with small children. If you would need a crib, pack n'play you can contact Happy Little Vacation Rentals. Charlevoix is a great place to get away from it all, breathtaking sunsets over Lake Michigan, outdoor concerts in the park, sailing and motorboat charters, a local fishery. There are numerous options for golfers. Traverse City and Mackinac Island are easy day trips.
The cottage is located in Northpoint on the northside of Charlevoix within 2 miles from downtown. The neighborhood is quiet. There is charter fishing available, Whitecap Charters, Ward brothers. A new app is available for your smartphone (FREE) "Life in Charlevoix" gives you lots information about the great small town. Please note, if you book for a week, a 5% discount is applied.
There are 2 gulf courses very close, the Charlevoix Municipal Golf Course (9holes) and the Charlevoix Country Club (18 holes)

I manage this property for my brother-in-law. I love the outdoors, gardening, walking the beautiful trails and dunes and most of all spending time with my family. I am retired after 39 years working at the Health Department and worked as the Administrative Office Manager, managing 5 offices and 7 dental clinics.

Has a cozy atmosphere and rates high in cleanliness. In a great neighborhood to hike, bike, snowshoe, cross country ski, downhill ski, great area to jog. Also has the beautiful dunes on Lake Michigan to enjoy during the spring, summer and fall. All within walking distance. Can ride a bike from the property to the wheelway bike trail. Beautiful sunsets at the end of the road.
