Nancy was amazing and this house had everything we needed. The fire place definitely was put to good use. The proximity to the lake and local park was an added bonus.
We have stayed here 6 times and have never had any issues. Fantastic location to everything. Owners who are close by and very helpful. Highly refer anyone to this home.
The cottage is always our favorite vacation, the host works extra hard to make sure we relax, from the welcome snacks to the comfy beds...its our one thing that we look fwd to every year. Thank you for letting us add that extra night...it really meant a lot. See u next fall!!

Thank you for your positive review, so glad you enjoyed your time in Charlevoix. The cottage definitely is in a great location. Please visit us again in the future.
The place was just the right size for our family. Beautiful quiet location!! Great price point as well for being so close to the lake. I’m very picky when it comes to cleanliness but this place was very clean. Nancy was a great host and even left us some little goodies that my boys enjoyed. We would definitely love to stay again.
QUIET COZY COTTAGE IN A NATURAL SETTING, CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN CHARLEVOIX
Our 4th visit to the cottage. Every year we look forward to Lake Michigan at the end of the road and walking in Mt. McSauba Recreational Area across from the cottage.

It was great to have you back. It sure is a great location, wish the weather was a little better for your stay. We hope to have you back. Thanks again for choosing us.
Very clean and cozy. The beach was so close and so were the trails. Beautiful neighborhood to walk in. Spectacular sunsets. We will definitely be back. Nancy had everything spelled out so clearly. Lovely details.
Anything and everything you could’ve wanted was provided. Nice clean and spacious home. We even wear greeted with a bunch of deer in the backyard one morning.
This little gem is our secret quiet space. Always so clean, just the perfect size and a tub to melt in. After we relax a couple days, plenty to see and do in the area. We found a new state park to explore, enjoyed a local resturant and wallowed in the big comfy bed all the next morning...see you again next fall!!
Nancy is a A++ hostess.
All details were as described in listing.
House was very comfortable for 4 adults.
Neighborhood was quiet, house was very clean and we had a wonderful weekend.
We have stayed at this property 5 different times now. Every time it has been an awesome time and have had no issues. Location to everything is perfect. Steps away from Lake Michigan . Everything you need is at the property.
We will continue to stay here.

It’s always a pleasure hosting you and we welcome you back anytime.
This cottage is well appointed and very well cared for. I found several nice little touches left by the host. The home is in a very quite neighborhood and super close to Lake Michigan. We stayed for a ski trip, but can't wait to return in the summer time.
What an excellent experience. Host was very thoughtful and made our stay great. The cottage was clean and full of little extras for us to use. The beach was only a five minute walk from the cottage and had trails to hike around. 5 stars for the host and property. Was a great way for my wife and I to spend our first year wedding anniversary.

How special to spend your anniversary at the cottage, thank you for your positive feedback and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Please visit us again in the future.
Everything is here for a relaxing Northern Michigan getaway. Enjoyed the whirlpool tub, fireplace and comfy king bed. The trails nearby and lake views are amazing. Nancy was super responsive to any questions we had. She has thought of everything as far as details and amenities-coffee, water, kitchen items, etc.
We stayed in late October and are looking forward to a summer visit!

Thank you for the great review! Would welcome you back anytime.
Such a nice cottage, well-kept and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and the host left coffee, snacks, candy, etc for the guests. Plenty of linens, towels, even firewood (as we stayed during the winter). A beautiful location, quiet neighborhood, about two minutes from the lake and adjacent to a park with hiking trails, deer everywhere. Overall, a very pleasant stay!
This little gem is our secret little hide away. It is always clean, well stocked and quiet... just what we need. The owner is very nice, responsive and always willing to help. We couldn't have wished for a better place to unwind and recharge. Thank you Nancy...kindred spirits are so hard to find.

Thank you for your positive review and for choosing the cottage for your get away again this year during the crazy pandemic. You are welcome back anytime.
Adorable cozy cottage in a VERY quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean and very well accommodated (paper products, soaps, a few small goodies and plenty of coffee options to get us through our first couple mornings) comfortable beds and great communication with host. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beautiful Mt Mcsauba beach, hiking the trails, awesome sunset views with multiple vantage points (awesome view from top of Mt Mcsauba!) we used the beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, and beach wagon which made our long beach days excellent! We really appreciated the host allowing us to use the garage 110 volt outlet to keep our electric car continuously charging at night. Hope to visit again someday!
We’ve rented many houses in and around Charlevoix in the past, but this house was by far the best one. The kitchen is large and well equipped, comfortable beds in both bedrooms, a nice jacuzzi tub, seriously, this house has it all. We enjoyed being so close to Mt. McSauba nature preserve, we saw deer every morning out the front window. We took evening walks in the neighborhood with our 6 year old. We went to the beach several times, Castle Farms, Friske’s Orchard,, we even climbed Mt. McSauba for a beautiful sunset. I had trouble with the washer and Nancy was over within 5 minutes if me texting her. I could go on and on about how great this house is . We are certainly going to try and rent this house next year.

We traveled north for a few days, to just unplug. This little space was just what we needed. All our needs were met and the accommodations were perfect.

Why they chose this property
Has a cozy atmosphere and rates high in cleanliness. In a great neighborhood to hike, bike, snowshoe, cross country ski, downhill ski, great area to jog. Also has the beautiful dunes on Lake Michigan to enjoy during the spring, summer and fall. All within walking distance. Can ride a bike from the property to the wheelway bike trail. Beautiful sunsets at the end of the road.
What makes this property unique
The uniqueness of this property is the location. It is across the street from the Mt. McSauba Nature Preserve where you can hike trails and then walk to the beautiful dunes on Lake Michigan.
