If you’re debating booking this place… stop thinking and just do it.This place is basically what would happen if a beach vacation and good life decisions had a baby. The space is perfectly beachy without feeling over-the-top, super clean, and actually comfortable (you know… not one of those “cute but you can’t sit anywhere” places).The hosts? Absolute gems. Friendly, responsive, and somehow magically available without ever being intrusive. 10/10 human beings.The beach is so close it almost feels illegal. We spent our days collecting ridiculously pretty seashells like we were on a mission, and the sunsets? The kind that make you question why you don’t live here full-time.Bonus: great restaurants within walking distance, so you can eat your weight in seafood and then casually stroll back pretending that counts as exercise.Overall, we came for a getaway and left wondering how to rearrange our lives to stay longer. Would absolutely come back—and probably will.

I’m already scheming my return to the Lazy Flamingo The hosts are so charming and genuine. The neighbors are happy company. Twenty-ish yards to the gulf and fifty-ish yards to the bay. Quiet as can be. Wonderful sunrises and sunsets and so many stars. The apartment was absolutely perfect for me. I worked the entire week of my stay, and I was able to comfortably work inside at the table or outside at the patio table. The fridge held all my food, Instacart delivers, and the stove top accommodated all of my cooking needs. I ate nearly every meal on the patio. Coffee provided by the hosts, along with to-go cups and lids, made early morning walks even better. I was solo on this trip and never had any moment feeing unsafe. I parked my car and didn’t go back to it until it was time to go back to the airport. The bike got me around perfectly. It is clear that much effort has been put into the units to rehab post hurricane. And they nailed it. It’s clean. Fresh. Bright. Relaxing. Counting the days until return. Thank you for making my stay so wonderful! Xo
