About this property

Come enjoy a quiet and romantic stay in our home on the Beautiful Oregon Coast. Nestled amongst tall trees on the edge of an estuary overlooking Netarts Bay, our home is a bird watchers paradise. From our front porch, we routinely see great blue herons, bald eagles, egrets, and ducks of all kinds that visit our estuary. A herd of at least 20 elk often pass directly by our property. You can take a short walk down our driveway to the bay and take in a view of virtually untouched beauty. You can hear the ocean at night and the frogs will sing to you as you relax in our hot tub that overlooks the estuary and bay.
You can enjoy crabbing, clamming, or fishing on the bay just a short distance from the house. Skiffs setup for crabbing and kayaks are available for rent nearby. We have a variety of rubber boots and clamming gear at the house.
If you are looking for peace and quiet in a romantic setting, this is the place to be.

** Note: $35 damage insurance is already included in the cost of your stay. If you wish to switch to the $3,000 refundable damage deposit, please let me know.
** Note: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to come! There is a $65 pet fee for the additional cleaning required after your departure.
** Note: I send out a rental acknowledgment to sign electronically after a booking is made. It is very straightforward and simple, but if you would like a copy of the contract beforehand, just let me know! :-)

Home away from home

A very nice house in a very fine location, clean, quiet and comfortable. The deck, hot tub and fire pit are great places to spend the evening looking out over the marsh. Lots of birds, frogs, bats and other wildlife around. We've stayed here 4 times and look forward to more in the future.

Netarts Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Netarts house is a lovely, comfortable home on a private lagoon. It has a generous kitchen, comfortable beds (one King and one Queen), a covered porch with an open lower deck, reliable Internet, and Roku cable for evening entertainment. The property is well-maintained and very clean, with a terrific view across the lagoon to Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Shore Thing is professional, the properties are well-maintained, and Sarah is a delight.

LOVED OUR STAY!

This house is an absolute gem. It offers a beautiful view of the bay that left us in awe every day. The privacy it provides is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house was clean and had a great design. From sunrise to sunset, the view of the bay is a constant source of inspiration and tranquility. And, if you're a nature enthusiast, the bay is a haven for all sorts of birds, providing endless opportunities for birdwatching.
