Recently during a trip to La Paz my family had the fortune to stay in two of Marlene's Puerta Cortes condos.  Both of the condos were amazing and exceeded our expectations.  We felt spoiled by the views and luxury of our accommodations. The Puerta Cortes Resort area is very secure and filled with amenities so that no one in our group wanted to leave.  The pools, beach, and landscaping are all jaw dropping.  Marlene was so easy to work with and made sure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Next time we are in La Paz we hope we are lucky enough to return to Marlene's condos.

Beach, Pool, Golf Course and other Amenities
Whether you are a sport fisher-person looking for the next big catch, a scuba diving enthusiast, a golfer or just looking for a relaxing vacation, Puerta Cortes Resort has something special to offer you and your family. My husband and I own 4 rental properties which are located at Puerta Cortes Resort, (formerly CostaBaja Resort and Marina). Three of our units are located within the marina area (Pueblo Marinero) and the 4th unit is located in the hillside subdivision of (Las Colinas).

Las Colinas #4 townhouse offers fabulous views of the Sea of Cortez, the city lights of La Paz, various majestic views of the Gary Player Signature Golf Course, as well as the inter-basin of the world class 250-slip double basin marina. The townhouse is a 3-bedroom unit. (2) bedrooms feature king beds and the third bedroom features a bunk bed (single on top and double on the bottom), 2 bathrooms, Jacuzzi tub, fully equipped kitchen with a living/dining area, washer/dryer, two terraces, wireless internet, air conditioning and a reserved parking space. There are no stairs. A golf cart is available for ease of traveling within the resort. The Las Colinas subdivision has its own pool and cabana area.

There are many wonderful amenities that will be at your disposal at the resort. As a guest of my condo you have access to the private Blue Cortes Beach Club
& Puerto Beach Clubs, both are located only a few feet away from the condo. While enjoying the Blue Cortes Beach Club there is a Minimum Consumption Fee of $800 MXN per adult person per day, during regular operating hours. At the Puerto Beach Club there is no Minimum Consumption Fee while enjoying the Club.

The Blue Cortes Beach Club has a beautiful infinity pool, Jacuzzi, selection of beach and pool-side seating, beach cafe/bar and a children's craft/play area.

The Puerto Beach Club features an amazing selection of food and beverage huts, an infinity pool, Jacuzzi, fire-pit, wonderful lounge beach and garden seating. Gym access is available through the hotel, and tennis court time can be scheduled at the Blue Cortes Beach Club. For those guests looking for a spa day, massages are offered at the beach huts and at the Espiritu Spa, located within the hotel. The spa also offers a full array of services.

In addition to the above amenities my guest can play golf at the private El Cortes Golf Club, a Gary Player Signature Course rated one of the ‘Top-Ten’ courses to play in Mexico. There is also a fun (Pitch & Putt) course to play. At the golf club enjoy dining at the Cardon Restaurant. Also take in the magnificent views of the Bay of La Paz as well as the city landscape in the distance. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Bring a camera – it’s the perfect photo opportunity.

Puerta Cortes Resort has two marinas, restaurants, a mini-market, a medical clinic, 24-hour security, as well as numerous charter companies that provide adventure tours for diving, kayaking, swimming with the whale-sharks and snorkeling with the sea lions. Just north of the resort lies Isla Espiritu Santo, where you'll discover one of the greatest marine reserves in the world.

The City of La Paz is a charming colonial city with approximately 250,000 people. Enjoy strolling along the boardwalk “Malecon” located right along the waterfront, visit the local farmers market, galleries, cafes and the Cathedral. Or take a drive to Todos Santos, a picturesque artistic community that’s only 50 miles away. La Paz is a premier vacation destination with many options for you to choose from.
