Large, clean and well appointed, very accommodating and responsive owners. An easy Uber/Lyft or scooter ride to Convention Center. Would stay there again!

We were supposed to stay during the big ten men’s basketball tournament. When the remainder of the tournament was canceled on the first night of our 4-night stay, we messaged the owner that we would be leaving and could we discuss a partial refund. We waited 24 hours and messaged again from home and still heard nothing.
While we understand the situation with the Coronavirus is hard for everyone, we would have appreciated some communication. After the email from the vrbo management regarding owners relaxing their cancellation policies we are still hopeful that we will get some of our money refunded.
We had to change dates and had trouble with our gps getting us to the 200 block of Fulton St., but the owner was incredibly helpful & accommodating. There was a dirty bathroom mirror, (no biggie) but sheets smelled fresh, and property was tidy, super functional & clean. It incredibly was convenient to downtown!
The stay was very comfortable for my Mother In Law and I. Being able to cook and have our own space created comfort for us. The ceiling fan was pretty dirty, the dishwasher was packed from the previous people that stayed, and every bathroom had 1 sheet left on the toilet paper roll, but there were some placed nearby to change over. It was just like being at home!!😂 unfortunately though, it made me wander if all the beds had been changed prior to our stay due to the lack of detail in some of the other areas. Overall, it was a very cute and cozy place and we felt safe in the neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable and the place is decorated nicely. Some of the details of amenities like cue tips and cotton balls are amazingly thought out and a great touch. The kitchen has all that you may need and it’s great that some of the previous tenants left cooking supplies for the next. I love love the registration book! Being able to see who all has stayed and where they were from was a nice touch! Would definitely stay again if they need were to arise!
Got together with three buddies for our annual Colts game get together. Plenty of room for all, nice TV and the beds were all comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant at the end of the block, everyone agreed the arrangements were the best we have experienced, Looking forward to staying here again next year.
We only needed a one night stay. We were lucky to find this gem to stay in. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful neighborhood and convenience to the highway. We will go back next year!

About the host
Hosted by Kent Iglehart
I am a young professional living in Indianapolis, Indiana with my wife Sarah and dog Cooper. Sarah and I love to travel (the dog stays at home). We have found Airbnb to be a great way to stay in some awesome locations and meet interesting hosts.
We love sushi, traveling, playing with our dog, hanging out with friends, and experiencing new things.
Why they chose this property
This property is so beautiful (rich hardwood floors and other historic details) but feels warm. My wife and I furnished it so that it is very up to date but with nice thoughtful touches. We are excellent hosts and go out of our way to make our guests feel welcome.
