Home is in excellent condition and has public water & power. House has a private pool with a waterfall. Rincon and its surrounding beaches are in great shape. We are a 2 minute walk to the beaches, and the marina where there's fishing charters, restaurants, paddle boarding, horseback riding, a dive shop, snorkeling, and surfing.. The grounds of house have lush tropical landscaping, privacy wall, and gates.

A short 3-minute drive will take you to the local grocery store that is well stocked with everything you would need while on vacation and if you head towards Sandy Beach from the house you are just minutes from the romantic Rincon Puerto Rico Light house with a new outdoor sunset bar and the famous Marias Calypso Restaurant
You can Surf the famous breaks of Puerto Rico
and walk to Tres Palmas & Steps beach where you can lie on the beach and enjoy the snorkeling.
The house has three floors with 8 bedrooms in total. Main house has 6 Brs, Downstairs apt has 2 Brs. Main house has 5 Brs on top floor and 1 BR on main floor(Queen Bed) - The 5 Brs on top floor are as follows- 1 King size bed, 1 Queen size, 2 rooms with 2 Queen size beds and last room has 2 full size bunk beds. The downstairs apt has a separate entrance with a king size bed in one room and a queen bed in other. If you don t need the downstairs unit we can offer a 10% discount off the daily rate

Beautiful house and lots of rooms a most stay

The house is beautiful, big and spacious. Many beautiful beaches near by. Joe was an awesome host he gave us a walk thru of the house and gave us the ins and outs of Rincon.

Amazing Stay

The views and town of Rincon were so beautiful we didn’t want to leave! The house had everything we needed and comfortably fit all 12 of us. The hosts checked in with us as soon as we arrived and gave us tips on what we could explore while staying. Thank you guys for a trip we will never forget!

Perfect beach house for large family

Our family of 17 had an amazing time at Pura Vida. Everything was perfect, from checking in with Joe to a last minute request I made that was granted. If youre looking for a house in Rincon with access to a beautiful beach, look no further; this is the house!!

Pura Vida a true gem in Rincon, PR

I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at Pura Vida. We spent three nights there with our 3 families which totaled 18 people 6 months old and up!The house is a beautiful Spanish style home with all of the modern conveniences. The home was comfortable and the gathering room and kitchen were perfect for a large group. There were new and beautiful things to discover about this home at every turn. The landscaping and pool were lovely. Only a very short walk to an amazingly beach. Chris the owner and Joe the property manager were both very helpful and accommodating. Not only is Joe the property manager he is also an accomplished chef and can be hired to prepare a dinner for you at the house. He made us a delicious Puerto Rican meal. Yum! Don't miss the chance to enjoy this beautiful home.

Perfect For Family Trip

This was the perfect place for all of my 18 family members. There was plenty of room for everybody to sleep comfortably and plenty of room to not be on top of each other. The kids loved going to the pool and we enjoyed the centralized living room/kitchen for all of us to gather. We appreciated the fast and prompt communications with both the owner and property manager. We would definitely book again for our next family trip.

Great house for a family stay

Our family used the house to host a family reunion to celebrate our grandmother’s 80th birthday. Adults and children were comfortable and had plenty to do. The house is close to the town and beaches. Chris and Joe are great hosts, and Joe cooked an awesome lunch for 25 to celebrate the occasion. I appreciate their flexibility and responsiveness when we had to reschedule our trip because of the hurricane.

Awesome House

Our group of 12 friends had a blast staying a Casa Pura Vida. Really cool place, and very spacious. Especially enjoyed the pool area and all the patio space. Location was great and the communication was fast to get us power via the backup generator turned on when the block's power went out due to work on the power lines down the street. I strongly recommend.

Family Reunion

We had an amazing time. The house house is gorgeous and spacious. We had a family reunion with a group of 21. Chris was an extraordinary host. Great communication and he try to accommodated most of our request. It exceeded our expectations. Thank you Chris, We will be back!!!

Perfect Family Getaway

Pura Vida was the perfect house in the perfect location for our family of 15. The house was lovely and had plenty space for us to both gather as a group or spread out on our own. It was located a very short walk from the beach, marina with a cute bar & gelato shop. Rincon with its great bars & restaurants was just a mile away! And the owner was extremely responsive when contacted. When we couldn’t find a large pot to cook dinner our big family spaghetti night dinner, Chris made sure 2 were delivered!!

Great location for a large family vacation

Our sixteen family members, including 8 adults and 8 children ranging in age from 6 to 16, fit beautifully in this spacious and well located house. The long table on the verandah accommodated all of us for the dinners we ate together at home. We walked to morning yoga near the beach, to the beach and lighthouse to watch the sunset, to local shops and coffee shops. We walked to the nearby beach and did some surfing close by as well. The pool area was attractive and comfortably furnished and the kids spent hours in the water. The owner was easily accessible and responded usually within minutes to questions. The local manager was also easily contacted. We all greatly enjoyed our week's vacation.

Great Location

The property was as expected. Check in was easy. We had one minor issue where the propane tanks were empty but the owner was very responsive and addressed the issue quickly. The house is a short walk to the beach. There was great snorkeling and a cute waterfront with bars and restaurants. We loved the pool area. One note about the house layout. If you have a very large group (we had 19) and use every bedroom, some bedrooms are not accessible unless you walk through another bedroom. Same situation with the bathrooms. But other than that we had a great stay and would book again.

Family Reunion

I recently stayed at PuraVida and was amazed at the space the home provided. We visited for a family reunion and the location was great. The pool was a plus for the kids and although the nearby beach is reef, it provided for great snorkling . The family had a great time and I do recommended for large groups as it is very spacious. Faraday (house manager) was so much help and gave us some great ideas for dinner and fishing charters. Only thing I do recommended is a shower on the 2nd level. My grandmother who uses a walker could have benefited from a shower on the 2nd level as she stayed there for the kitchen and family room access. Otherwise, awesome stay and look forward to returning with the family !!!

We stayed here for the week with a big group for my husbands birthday. First of all the house is beautiful and kept up very well. It's very clean and super spacious. From booking, our entire experience was phenomenal: the property owner and property manager were both extremely responsive and beyond accommodating. The property manager was easy to contact and helped us with anything that we needed. Check in/out was quick and informative. There is a lot to do nearby, the house is a 5 minute drive or 15/20 minute walk from town and a 5 minute walk from the marina (both great places to hang out). The furthest we drove was to Crash Boat beach (35 minutes, highly recommend a day there) and to Gozalandia Water Falls (50 minutes, another thing I highly recommend). ALSO, it is close to surfing beaches, the lighthouse and many restaurants and food trucks (don't forget to stop at the food trucks!!) We really lucked out and are very glad to have stayed here. We will definitely stay here again next time we come.

A great time in Rincon

We had two families (total of 9 people) with five kids ranging from 22 to 13. We really enjoyed the walking distance to the marina and the food at Shipwreck Bar and Grill. We sat down by the beach near the boat dock and got drinks from the little bar near there a couple of days and it was great fun. It was a bit rocky near shore but was good once you got out a few feet. We wanted to go to La Copa Llena but it was closed the days we were there since we were there on the off season. We did some scuba diving with Rincon Diving and Snorkling and they did a great job. Though Puerto Rico will not be the best dive site you will go to, Brenda and her crew were very helpful, fun and professional. The house manager, Chris, was there to great us and was responsive. We had some issues with water pressure upstairs but there was plenty of showers to make it work. The property is very large with lots of space, we didn't even use the bunk room, so it could have fit a lot more people. The pool was great to have in addition to the beach. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Pura Vida.

Worn down party house in a great location

This house has great potential but unfortunately it is poorly managed. They would benefit from a simple checklist to ensure everything is in order. Upon our arrival: 2 of the third floor air conditioners were not working, keypad codes were not updated for the third floor, the outdoor lounger cushions were not made available and the remote control for the TV had no batteries. A customer should not discover these on their own. The house itself is very worn down and not well maintained. Paint peeling from the ceilings, walls need a fresh coat of paint, new bed pillows or double pillowcases would make things more hygienic, the pots and pans look like ones found on the street for free, mold in the upper corners of the rooms, only 3 beach chairs… I think you get the idea.The landscaping is very nice and the pool is a decent size. Bring a speaker to drown out the traffic noise. The location (besides the traffic noise) is the best thing about this place. It’s a 10 minute walk to Steps or the Marina beaches.If you are in your 20s and come here with 15 friends, you may overlook how worn down the place is. This is a party house; nothing luxurious here except for the landscaping.The owner tried to compensate by offering the basement apartment to us. I politely declined after smelling it. There is a heavy musty smell in here. I do not recommend renting this apartment. Two walls are below grade level so it is very dark and damp.Take the lower rated reviews to heart.

Wow amazing house!!!

House so beautiful, nice pool, alot beds, nice ac. Kids were so happy with the pool. Great communication with Joe. If u need help joe is that man!!!. House is closed to the beach. You will never have any with the electricity. The house is ready if lose power. We have great time in the house. My family want same house for the next year. We love 🇵🇷

Family Vacation

The property is very large with lots of beds. It has a nice pool with a patio that we enjoyed. The large living room and kitchen space with the surrounding balcony was another highlight. There were some notable drawbacks though. The property was not at clean as it might have been. For example, one set of sheets had what appeared to be bloodstains on them, one of the bathrooms had left over vomit in the area behind the toilet, and one of our kids found a syringe in a garbage bin. The washer in the downstairs apartment also needs more regular filter cleaning--we got a horrible smell in the room from standing water in the filter. Our host was very friendly but we would have appreciated more guidance. We got a very rushed and brief tour of the property (he seemed eager to get somewhere), that did not include some basic information such as how to get to the beach. This seemed esp odd given that our check-in time got pushed back and then forward on the day of arrival. The house also does not include a written guide with key info on the property and area. It was very much a fend for ourselves situation. Fortunately, we have family on the island who could provide a lot of info about the area. The organization of the house is also a bit odd. The main bedroom space (on the second floor) consists of 5 rooms. One quirk is that one of those rooms is a room with 2 large bunk beds, clearly designed for children. However, to get in and out of the second floor you have to go through that bunk room. It's possible to get out of two of the rooms via the balcony doors,. but two other rooms have no way to get in or our except through another room. Also, there are two bathrooms on that floor, but one of them is attached to a bedroom with a full sized bed. So, there's basically one communal full bath on that floor for the 4 bedrooms other than the one with its own bathroom. I'm not complaining about this, but making note of it since it did present some challenges for our party. To be clear, it is a large and relatively comfortable property with lots of space for a large group of people. We just found a lack of attention to detail that seemed surprising at t his level of property.
