Come enjoy the heart of the Central Coast. This newly constructed room is in a relaxing country setting but only a stroll away to the quaint village of Arroyo Grande. While in the Village enjoy wine tasting, window shopping or a delicious meal. Arroyo Grande is located minutes from wineries, beaches, downtown SLO, Cal Poly, hiking and so much more.

The Ranchita has its own separate entrance for your privacy and sleeps two. Comfortable queen bed with lovely bedding. The room is well lit with a cozy chair to sit back and relax in. Private bath with large shower and full length mirror. Office space with desk and leather chair. Parking and outdoor space under the olive tree to enjoy the view. There are no stairs to gain access to the room.

Amenities include High Speed internet, Wifi and large Smart TV. In-room coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Hair dryer. Coffee and water and candy provided. Iron and ironing board if requested.

Guest Interaction - We live in the main house on the property with our kids and our dog and cat. We would love to meet you, but we are happy to be as interactive as you wish. We are around for any help or recommendations you might need.

Guest access - The room has a key less entry to give you easy access and more freedom on your arrival. A code for your stay will be provided. Parking is directly out front of the room.

This location is best for a couple or an individual. Non mobile children ok too. Please let us know in advance if you’ll need a portable crib.

There is NO SMOKING of any kind and NO pets allowed.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please place wet towels or use towels in the hamper provided.
Please make sure lights/fan are turned off and the heater is turned off.
Take out the trash to the receptacles that are on the back of the rental unit. If you cannot find them the large bins are down on the street if it’s a Wednesday morning.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please let us know in advance if you will need a portable crib.
Please take out your trash when checking out. Please put all used towels in the hamper in the bathroom.
No additional adults allowed in room. Max two adults.

This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a very clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The location is close to the water and San Luis Obispo. We appreciated the responsiveness of Paula to our questions before and during the stay.

Property is situated in a quiet neighborhood, it’s perfect if you want to stay in an area away from the hustle and bustle of life (atleast for a short while) . Room was clean , host was very attentive to us if there’s anything that we need and gave us recommendations of places to visit. Close to shops, and the beach. Would definitely comeback in the future!

The room and bathroom were spotless. We met one of the hosts and he was super sweet giving us more coffee pods and creamers. There are goats and chickens to talk to! We enjoyed a walk to town for breakfast and sitting outside enjoying the beautiful area.

It was a lovely visit at the Ranchita....clean, comfortable, peaceful and in a great location close to the beaches, downtown and all places of interest. Paula was a wonderful host and got back to us right away on any questions/ concerns we had and made wonderful suggestions about places to see and restaurants to dine at. We had a lovely stay here!

It’s a beautiful, newer, clean, super comfortable place to lay your head when traveling. We were checking out colleges along the coast and this was a great location for that. Everything was perfect We would absolutely recommend this place and hope to stay there again in the future.

Hello! I'm Paula and I live at the property with my husband and two daughters. I am a native from the Central Coast and love the area with all my heart. I moved out of the area for several years, but found my way back in 2007 and couldn't be happier.

Why they chose this property

We bought the property in 2014 and took the main house down to the sticks. We added about 1000 square feet and the garage which includes the Ranchita. We finished the remodel in 2017 and have been enjoying it ever since.

What makes this property unique

The number one reason we bought this property and fixed up the house was the VIEW!!!
We absolutely cherish it and spend countless hours outside to take advantage of it!
The second reason was it's proximity to the Village of AG. While it has that out in the country feel we enjoy our neighbors and that it is walking distance to the Village and all its perks.
