About this property

Majestic mountain retreat

Hi

During winter months it is guests responsibility to stay informed about winter conditions and travel requirements. we are at 6900 feet elevation, so snow can accumulate quickly. There may be circumstances beyond our control with regards to snow removal. We are on a street NOT Maintained by San Bernardino county snow plows.

Beautiful serene two Story Cabin with two bedrooms and one bath. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Very peaceful setting for those who wish to get away from the hustle & bustle.

Come relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. All you hear are the birds and the wind whistling through the trees. Very soothing setting.

Great area to explore & hike, close to Blondes Restaurant.
Running Springs has Jensen's Market, Neo's Pizza, Coffee Shop(yum).

Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear only 30 min. away.

Snow Valley 10 min away.

Arrowhead has lots of shops:
Bass, Van Heusen, Coach outlet, Wilson Leather, Claire's Accessories,Wine Boutique, Big On Bears Mountain Clothing store, Papa Gallo's Mexican Restaurant. Stater Brothers Grocery.
Spectrum cable with wifi is also included. Hulu. Paramount & prime streaming included.

Cozy cabin feel in an ideal location

We had a very comfortable time at this warm cabin that was nestled in the trees. Especially loved the patios where you gazed at the mountain-side and the tees. The host communicated promptly, making sure we were comfortable.

Lovely cozy cabin. Decorated so cute and has a nice porch and deck. Surrounded by trees. The driveway is really difficult if you have a larger car or truck but it’s well worth it to stay here.

So much character!

Such a unique cabin in the trees! The area is stunningly beautiful--it's truly in the boonies! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and full of character. The best part are the property hosts. They are so friendly, inviting, and helpful--communication was easy and positive. Fun experience!

Winter Wonderland

We had a fabulous stay at Bill and Susan’s cabin. We stayed just after and during major snowstorms and Bill was so helpful making sure we were prepared for winter weather conditions. The cabin is cozy and full of everything you might need for a mountain adventure. The property is off the beaten path yet very close to town for a perfect for a perfect getaway.

Cozy Cabin with minor setbacks

It's a homely cabin that comfortably fit 5 people, clean and well accommodated. The only downside is the road and driveway to the cabin. It took me multiple tries to fit my truck in the narrow driveway, however other cars should have no trouble getting in or out. Due to the small driveway and narrow street, only one car can be taken here as there is no room to park on the street. Overall a cozy place to visit if you're looking for a peaceful place to stay.

felt like home

we had a great time at the cabin. the view was terrific, specially the evenings. i had a little trouble getting from the parking area to the cabin, many steps some narrow and steep. but i am a double amputee. but was still accessible. the cabin itself was great. just what you would expect from a cabin in the woods. full kitchen with with all you need. beds very comfortable. we wiil go back again

Serene cabin in the mountains

We had an wonderful weekend at this cabin in the mountains. The hosts instructions were excellent, the cabin was perfect for the two of us (clean, cozy, and quiet), and everything we needed was provided. I would highly recommend this rental and would stay here again.

Cure for Covid Blues

My son and his girlfriend were wanting to get away for a few days from the city but were anxious about Covid19 and staying safe out of their LA apartment where they've been holed up since March. We found this enchanting little cottage in the perfect location for hiking and fishing. Daily fishing yielded nothing but great memories made. They loved the little towns of Arrowhead and Big Bear. Social distancing and masks were highly observed and they felt safe in and out of the cabin. They even asked to stay an additional night which was accommodated. Both are excited to return to this cozy mountain get away.

Anniversary Trip

This is a great place to just get away! The cabin was nice and clean. We came up here to celebrate our anniversary. We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift from Bill and Susan - such a great surprise! Bill was very responsive and friendly. Our anniversary always lands on one of the hottest days of the year so since this cabin doesnt have AC, it did get pretty warm but I could see that not being an issue during cooler months. They also have an amazing DVD collection!

We enjoy mostly is the serenity the cabin provides us when we visit a couple of times per month. This gives us the ability to de stress and Relaxxx.
