This 600 Sq Foot, 1st French Floor,spacious apartment is located on a quiet, pedestrian-only,lovely street of the 5th arrondissement, next to the famous and charming rue Mouffetard (recommended in Gourmet Magazine), a famous street lined with restaurants and open air markets. Building has a private courtyard and the apartment is modern, with full-amenities and is quiet. Secure building, access by code only. Steps away is the building in which Hemingway lived. In the immediate neighborhood you will find the Place Monge, the heart of the Latin Quarter, The Panthéon and the Jardins du Luxembourg, wonderful historical French gardens. Many shops, restaurants and stores are close to the apartment ; Bakery, meat and fish markets, Supermarket, Open air market, bowling alley, swimming pool, movie theater, numerous variety of restaurants, cafes, pharmacy. 10 minute pleasant walk to the steps of Notre Dame, Blvd St. Germain and the Seine.

The estimate is less than 5% of all Paris apartments have air conditioning. This apartment has a stand up powerful air conditioning unit in the living room which, under normal circumstances should be able to cool the entire apartment. If it is an exceptionally hot summer, with an extreme heat wave, the apartment will be comfortable but potentially not “cold”. Please note building regulations require that noise is limited after 9 PM- after which air conditioning and washing machine use not allowed until 8AM
