A clean, cozy space with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. You'll find a small fridge, microwave, kettle, French press, and access to a small BBQ. It’s a simple, welcoming setup, and pets are welcome — with supplies provided to make their stay easy as well.

Located in a peaceful neighbourhood close to beaches, hiking trails, and the University of Victoria, this spot offers the perfect balance of quiet surroundings and easy access to the city. Downtown is about a 15–20 minute drive, or you can take the scenic waterfront route. Along the way you can stop at Cadboro Bay and enjoy the beach and wonderful playground, continue to Cattle Point or stroll along Willows Beach where you might spot paddle boarders and kayakers. Further along you’ll pass the beautiful Victoria Golf Club. You can continue on the scenic waterfront until you arrive at Clover Point, a favourite local viewpoint for watching kite surfers, parasailers, and dog walkers. Before heading downtown, you can also stop at the Ogden Point for a walk along the breakwater.

When it’s time to head home the airport and ferries are 25-30 minutes away.

Had a wonderful stay here for 3 days. Super location close to the beach and university, with convenient parking right in front of the property. Space was clean and comfortable and wonderfully cool during what was a scorching week in Victoria. Very comfortable beds and a nice big shower too. Great communication from Tatiana our host. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, excellent rooms, very clean and well appointed. Excellent communication with host. Easy check in. The TV room could have really used a sink and a couch. Otherwise, it was a great stay for our family of four for a week.

Tatiana was very helpful when we asked what beaches were around what was going on during the time of our stay. The check in was very quick and smooth. The place was clean and cute! The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful and close to lots of beaches and amenities. The perfect distance from the city. Like a couple other reviews, I should have read the description more clearly with the place not having any laundry available. But that was not an issue at all, everything else was perfect and our family had a wonderful stay. Would recommend for a trip to Victoria!

The place was spotless. I didn’t read the details carefully enough and went there expecting a kitchen and laundry facilities. The location is lovely, Tatiana could not have been more welcoming and helpful, the shower is great. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to sleep comfortably. There’s a small fridge and a microwave.

Perfectly fine basement apartment. Could hear the folks upstairs but it was not ever and issue, except when the kitty was meowing and I wanted to go pet it Shower is particularly nice. Beware if you have asthma, a touch musty and strong air freshener. Once freshener removed and windows opened, it was all fine. Local beach park was quite nice, the neighborhood is quiet and everyone seemed friendly.

On entry to the basement suite, outside property was unkept. Lots of garbage and recycling containers as we walked to the door. The yard was a mess and we had no idea where the "outdoor space" might be. There was no proper kitchen, nowhere to cook a meal, no sink, no table to sit at. One bed was comfortable, the other not. The suite was ok but no comfortable chairs to watch TV. Communication was good, questions answered promptly.For the price of 649.00 for 2 nights, we were quite disappointed.

I’m sorry that the space did not meet your expectations. I will admit I’m confused by your description. It doesn’t reflect other descriptions of how tidy it is. Also, there is a table and in the listing I identify the amenities and do not list a kitchen. However, there is a microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and bbq. Unfortunately you missed the rhododendron season which is lovely and the deer have eaten almost everything else I planted. But the front area is available, and some guests ask to use the fenced back yard. In addition, my home is next to a large park.

Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms nicely decorated and very clean. Couldn't ask for a more amiable host who was very communicative and had good recommendations for things to do and see during our stay. I didn't notice that it was preferred for guests to park on the street. The owner also lives on site and uses the narrow driveway, so it makes sense. However, the street is very busy and I would have preferred to park in the driveway. There was some clutter of various items in the driveway, so at first, I wasn't sure I was at the correct address. But the photo of the door and description confirmed we were at the right place.There were parks nearby and the recommendations from the host were spot on.I would recommend this place.

Lovely basement suite in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the water. If you don’t need a full kitchen or laundry facilities this is a perfect little spot.
