Cozy Cabin in Beautiful Vermont

We so enjoyed staying here during Middlebury’s Fall Family Weekend! The cabin is lovely and right across from a beautiful lake and it was the perfect home base for our weekend adventures. The property even has a gas grill, which our college kid unexpectedly used to fix dinner for us one night. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Great Place to Stay

This well furnished, comfortable small house was a great place to stay for the wonderful week we spent in Vermont. It is centrally located in the state, across a sometimes busy road from a large pond in a beautiful part of the state having many lakes and ponds. We were able to prepare and eat breakfasts and dinners at the house and make picnic lunches to bring when we drove the scenic routes north or south to picturesque towns, parks, waterfalls, covered bridges, museums, and an art fair. It is a great place to stay for this enjoyable type of vacation..

Why they chose this property

Centrally located. Hubbardton, VT is located in the Taconic mountain range halfway between Rutland and Middlebury. Experience this beautifully appointed home nestled on a private site overlooking Lake Beebe and Eagle Rock. Great new Hiking Trail very close to the property!

What makes this property unique

Lake Beebe is a great location. Motorboats are not permitted on the lake to maintain tranquility. You can walk around the lake with a path through the woods in back of houses that connects to the other side of the pond for a nice walk. We often see an osprey, bald eagle, and loons.
In addition, stock car racing at Devils Bowl in Fair Haven, the rodeo at Pond Hill Ranch in Castleton, the Hubbardton Battlefield and museums and shopping are available within a short drive from Lake Beebe. Great new hiking trails near the property.
