Great Stay for Volleyball families
We got into the house late at night. It was easy to access, clean and ready for us. We felt very comfortable in the house and neighborhood. It was an older house that had beautiful hardwood floors. We needed batteries for the front lock and TV remote. The owner responded the next morning and delivered (k cups too). I gave our stay 5 stars. I would recommend a newer shower head for more pressure and have the cleaning crew sweep the floors (our socks were dirty). The price and location and location were a WIN.

Property was large enough for our party of 8. Quiet neighborhood, close to highway for easy travel. No hot water in main floor bathroom sink unfortunately. Back porch/steps in need of repair. Owner was very responsive. Overall, clean and comfortable space for a large group/family with kids.

We enjoyed the home as we stayed together wit our adult children
Check in was difficult as we arrived after dark and with incomplete information. The address listed said Ashland Ave and not West Ashland Ave. We figured it out after a detour or two using our gps. Then the keypad to open the door was frustrating as the instruction said use the code number… did not say followed by the arrow! We would rent there again now that we figured out the correct address and entry details. The info on the VRBO app need to be more accurate.

Very spacious
The house was plenty large for our party of 9 (ages 18-70). It was built in the 1940’s and I loved to imagine its history. The stairs to the attic room and basement are VERY steep (as they were decades ago) so fair warning for older and younger guests. There are also only 2 mirrors in the whole house (one in each bathroom) which was difficult when we had 4 women trying to get ready around the same time. Back patio/deck and stairs are in need of repair. It was a great space to hang out w a group. There is a pop a shot basketball hoop in the basement that my teenage boys (and 4” something husband and brother) loved.

Why they chose this property

This property is as versatile as it guests. It can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 8 people. The property has 2 floors and a finished basement. The first floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen, full bathroom, and 2 bedrooms that have queen beds in them. The second floor is a HUGE space. It is as long as the entire home and has two twin beds. The finished basement has another great living/sitting space with a 3 seat sectional. The basement has 2 bonus rooms that have queen beds in them as well. The basement also has a full bathroom as well. The laundry room is also in the basement.

The property was completely remodeled. The property was well taken care of as we are only the third owners of the property. The two families that owned it before us owned it for 25+ years each and put a lot of love and care into the property.

What makes this property unique

I love how we remodeled the home and made it look modern but still kept some of the home's original characteristics. On the first floor, you will find natural 60+ year old refinished oakwood floors. On the second floor, you will find 60+ year old refinished pine oak floors. We love how spacious the house is. The sunroom is a perfect area for you and your friends to relax under a screened room and enjoy the outside scenery. Our property is also fully fenced. The backyard is a perfect space to throw the football around. Our driveway is also gated so you can comfortably keep your car gated in the driveway.
