Across street from Sportsplex and Convention Center. Down the street from The Dome and the Wavegarden. Minutes from "The Vibe" district. 10 mins from NAS Oceana. 6 person inflatable hot tub in the backyard. Fancy water system for high quality H2O :)

    Love this place !

    my boyfriend, his kids and i all stayed here for a weekend and we loved it. Daniel was kind, easy to contact and all around good guy. The space itself is super cute. we all loved the hot tub and the kids loved the hammocks kept there. sleeping was great. check in and out was super simple. the place was clean and definitely updated. we will absolutely be back !

    Our small family had a great stay at The Local Beat. The place is clean and unique, and felt cozy for our stay. The neighborhood around the unit doesn't look the greatest, and you will deal with jet noise from the Navy base nearby (as with any place this close to Virginia Beach). That being said, the neighbors seemed friendly and we never felt any danger. The location is great for some privacy from the beach area. You can easily walk across the street to the sports complex and convention center, as well as a couple breweries nearby. I would stay here again with my family if we get the chance!

    A Truly Exceptional Stay at The Local Beat

    From the moment we booked, Daniel went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Even before our arrival, he kindly offered us the option for early check-in, which was a great gesture of true hospitality.When we arrived, the home was spotless and incredibly well equipped. The living room included a welcome guide with local recommendations, restaurant suggestions, and a personal message that made us feel right at home. Daniel even provided snacks, coffee, and a variety of helpful kitchen appliances, including a blender, espresso machine, etc.The home had everything we needed: a fully functional kitchen, a washer and dryer with laundry supplies, clean and beautifully decorated bedrooms with TVs, desks, extra pillows, and cozy lighting. The bathroom was fully stocked with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc.The decor was charming and locally inspired. My kids especially loved the playground directly in front of the house, they played there every morning, which added a fun and convenient bonus to our trip.We also had the chance to use the grill, and it was a perfect touch for a family meal. The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming, and everything we needed from restaurants to convenience stores was close by, whether walking or driving.Overall, our stay was truly better than other places we’ve stayed at in Virginia Beach. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, family, friendly, and exceptional stay! Thank you again, Daniel
