Fantastic holiday home with a private pool and wonderful views of the Dordogne

On a hill directly above the Dordogne and in the middle of the most beautiful area of the Perigord lies the enchanting country house «La Palétie» with a large garden, a wonderful private pool and a wonderful view of the river and the Perigord countryside.
With four large bedrooms, two bathrooms and two separate toilets, the house offers plenty of space for a relaxing holiday for up to 8 people. The large kitchen and the cozy living room are equipped with open fireplaces. La Palétie is not only built in the typical cozy Perigord style from natural stone and furnished with pretty country house furniture, but also has all modern comforts with WiFi in all rooms, Internet TV, CD and DVD, microwave, washing machine and dryer . From every bedroom you have a wonderful view over the valley of the Dordogne.
The house is only a few minutes away from the castles of Beynac and Castelnaud, the famous chateau "Les Milandes" is in sight. It is only a few kilometers to the beautiful medieval towns of Sarlat-La-Canéda and La Roque-Gageac. The caves of Lascaux or Les Eyzies-de-Tayac with the world famous prehistoric sites are 20 minutes away. Bruno investigates 10 kilometers from La Palétie in Le Bugue.
All necessary facilities of daily life are very close. Bakery, supermarket, doctor or pharmacy can be reached within a few minutes. If you don't want to cook yourself, there are pretty and typical restaurants in all price ranges all around. And the range of leisure activities is huge: canoeing on the Dordogne, horse riding, hiking, climbing, running, biking or ballooning can be experienced directly or very close to the house. You can play tennis and golf a few kilometers away.
La Palétie offers everything you need for a nice and relaxing holiday.

Gorgeous home from home in superb location with much to explore.in the immediate area. Children loved the pool and the wildlife in the area was fascinating. Highly recommend this gorgeous home for stay in the area (the photos do not do it justice)!

Fantastic location and lovely pool

A lovely house with great views in a perfect location. The pool was very clean and a good size and the patio perfect for relaxed meals. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a fabulous week here.

We had a great fortnight. Traditional house with lots of character. Comfortable, well equipped with lovely views across the Dordogne valley. We really enjoyed the pool and exploring the local areas. Peter was really helpful and quick in his communication.. Would recommend

A beautiful stay in Perigord near Beynac and St Cyprien

An absolutely beautiful property ideally situated to make the most of your time in this wonderful area of France. The photos do not do the property justice! The house and grounds are truly lovely and peaceful yet nearby to beautiful villages and chateaux.

The most amazing home- my dream place!

This is the most beautiful property and home. It’s a dream of a place. Everything you could possibly want is in this house, and it’s so beautiful. The pool area and garden is completely private and we felt like we had a chateaux to ourselves. Stunning views overlooking the Dordogne Valley. Much to explore in the area. But my favourite thing was to stay put at the house, barbecuing and swimming and chilling with a book. The house has got every spice, every pot and pan and types of glasses, bowls, plates etc that you could ever want, even a drinks cupboard with the idea that everything can be used but to replace anything that you empty, and I think each party leave something behind to benefit the next guests. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures show. A huge thank you to the Neumann family for letting us stay at their beautiful home.

Wenn es eine 11 gäbe, würde ich sie anstelle von 10 Punkten gern an La Paletie vergeben. Dieses Haus ist wunderschön und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt und oft gekocht, was sich aufgrund der hervorragenden Ausstattung der Küche (i. Ggs. zu vielen anderen Ferienhäusern) bestens bewerkstelligen ließ. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war überaus herzlich, wie unter guten Freunden. La Paletie: ein Juwel.

Ce séjour à la Palétie était formidable ! Nous y avons passé de très bons moments en famille dans un cadre magnifique. Les enfants ont adoré la chambre du bas (la plus fraîche), et se sont créé de beaux souvenirs dans le grand jardin. La grande piscine a été un véritable atout, nous permettant de nous rafraîchir et de jouer tous ensemble.La maison est chaleureuse et on s'y sent bien rapidement. Elle est également parfaitement équipée, avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour confortable. Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité et la sérénité de l'endroit, qui nous a permis de nous ressourcer et de passer des moments inoubliables en famille.Nous avons également apprécié la disponibilité de Roos, qui a été là pour répondre à nos demandes.L'emplacement est idéal, à proximité de Sarlat, une ville médiévale charmante, et des célèbres grottes de Lascaux, un site préhistorique incontournable. Nous avons également eu la chance de faire un vol en montgolfière, une expérience incroyable qui nous a offert une vue imprenable sur la région.Et pour les amateurs de sports nautiques, le fleuve Dordogne est tout proche, offrant la possibilité de faire du kayak.Je recommande vivement cette maison à tous ceux qui cherchent un endroit calme et agréable pour se détendre et profiter de la beauté de la région. Les possibilités de découverte et d'aventure sont nombreuses, et cette maison est le point de départ idéal pour explorer le Périgord.

Maison très agréable, lumineuse, rustique dans son aspect, avec très peu de bruit environnant. Nous avons avons apprécié sa distribution, sa terrasse avec parasol, sa piscine agréable et sécurisante pour les enfants (munie un portillon d'accès refermable), barbecue bien pratique. Localisation idéale au milieu d'un territoire riche en activités et curiosités. Le ménage était très correct. Le guide envoyé par Alexandra et Peter est complet (Il faudrait juste ajouter plus clairement une rubrique "énergie électrique" pour ne pas chercher dans le document quoi faire en cas de coupure de l'alimentation générale). Les interlocuteurs sur place Roos et Albert Gorlee sont vraiment très aimables et serviables. Points d'amélioration selon nous : indiquer que l'une des chambres est située en mezzanine et donc non réellement close, intégration des draps et serviettes au prix de la location, indiquer que les couettes sont seulement de format individuel, terrasse peu exploitable au sortir de la cuisine pour manger car beaucoup de petits dépôts végétaux tombent de la vigne vierge en continu sur la table.

Wundervoll

Die Lage des Hauses im Perigord ist traumhaft, so dass wir (Familie mit zwei Teenagern) wirklich bedauert haben, nicht länger bleiben zu können. So viele hübsche Orte, Schlösser und Burgen; die morgens und abends aufsteigenden Ballons über der Dordogne; die täglich in der Nähe stattfindenden Märkte; so viel Köstlichkeiten zu kosten… Das Haus und der Großteil der Einrichtung sind nicht steril-neu, sie atmen das Leben der Bewohner und sind gemütlich eingerichtet, so dass wir uns sehr willkommen fühlten. Dazu trug ganz besonders auch die herzliche und schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter bei. La Paletie ist gut erreichbar und überaus großzügig gestaltet, es gibt mehrere Bäder und Toiletten und die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht (auch die anspruchsvolleren Köche werden glücklich). Begeistert haben uns Terrasse und Pool, die auch im Oktober noch gut nutzbar waren.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à La Palétie. La maison est idéalement située pour visiter la vallée de la Dordogne. La location est très bien équipée, calme, idéale pour des vacances. La piscine est très bien entretenue et la vue est magnifique. Nous recommandons cette location et y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Très belle demeure avec une vue fantastique

Belle maison. Tout y est ! Fonctionnelle et très agréable. Ne manque pas d’ustensiles ; tout est prévu... La piscine est très bien entretenue et la vue est exceptionnelle ! La maison est proche des centres d’intérêt c’est un plus ! Peter est à l’écoute et très réactif. Nous recommandons cette location car c’est un havre de paix ! Nous y avons séjourné 1 semaine et avons passé un très bon séjour. Merci

Superbe séjour dans une très belle région et très belle maison!

Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans le Périgord profitant de tous les trésors de la région. La maison est très accueillante. Très bien placée, proche de nombreux points d’interêt, châteaux, Dordogne… Nous étions 7 en tout entre parents et enfants et la maison était juste idéale pour nous. Grande maison, grande piscine, grand jardin Bref une région et une maison à recommander.

Optimales Ambiente für einen Urlaub im Perigord!

Sehr bemühter Vermieter, Herr Neumann. Bei ihm kann man sich vorab über alles informieren. Empfehlenswert für größere Gruppen, großartig ausgestattete Küche, wunderbares Pool.

Jolie maison, parfaite pour découvrir le Périgord

Nous avons passé 15 jours très agréables dans cette jolie maison. Tout était conforme à la description et aux photos. La maison a une vue magnifique et est parfaitement située, à 20min de tous les sites touristiques. Peter s’est montré très réactif à chacune de nos sollicitations. Tout parfait, rien à redire ! Je conseille vivement cette location pour découvrir cette très belle région.

wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage am Hang oberhalb des Dordognetals mit Blick auf die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region. Für uns war die alte Bausubstanz mit viel französischem Charme perfekt – es ist allerdings nichts für Liebhaber steriler Bauten. Besonders bemerkenswert fanden wir das ehrliche Interesse des Hausherrn und die Betreuung des lokalen Verwalterehepaares – alle sind sehr bemüht, einem die Ferien so angenehm wie möglich zu machen! Alles Notwendige und Sehenswerte ist in erreichbarer Nähe. Der Pool ist ideal für kleine Kinder. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Simplement formidable !

Nous avons passe un excellent séjour dans cette belle demeure, ou tout était pour le plaisir et bien être. Un grand merci a Mr et Mme Neumann pour leur gentillesse et écoute. Petit bémol la propreté n'était pas a l'hauteur. Mais peut-être que cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir si Mr. Neumann veut bien de nous.
