POOL HEAT
A $50.00 per day fee is added to reservations booked between October 1st - April 30th for Pool Heat. If you prefer to have an unheated pool, please email or call after booking and the fees will be immediately refunded.
PLEASE NOTE: The pool cannot be heated if it is below 52 degrees or above 80 degrees. As your stay gets closer, we will do our best to keep you informed of the forecast during that time period. We will immediately refund you if conditions do not allow for this.

COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE
Beach Service is provided seasonally from March 1st - October 31st, weather permitting, and is only offered during regular business hours until 5pm. This service at this property includes 3 umbrellas and 6 beach chairs!

Family Beach week

Our family of 10 loves the beach and spends most all our time at the beach - not so much shopping, dining out or other activities. This house appears to be one of the original beach houses in Dune Allen. It is spacious, with the best beach access and views, in a nice spot across the street from Gulf Place shopping and dining. The house is in need of maintenance and renovation, but it served our purposes beautifully.

The location was perfect, the pool was great, big spacious house for all 15 of us. The ac worked really well. There needs to be some cleaning or painting done inside and out. It is just run down to a certain extent. The cabinet door in bathroom comes off in your hand, etc, little things like that!Overall, it was fine bc we had 8 kids and didn’t have to worry about them breaking anything! I’d probably give it a 3.5 if possible

This house was the perfect size for our party of 11. Beautiful view, lovely pool, perfect location. Everything was very clean. The home is outdated and could use some updates, but it was fine for our stay! I would stay here again.

Great Location!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Blessings. It is right on the beach. And very close to restaurants and shops. It was wonderful to step outside and watch the dolphins in the mornings and walking right out the back door, down the stairs and down the beach to our chairs! It was a very peaceful time and much needed.

The Perfect Beach Getaway

A perfect spot for a perfect vacation! Situated on the beach, the view was gorgeous, and the pool was delightful. The locale in Dune Allen was next to Gulf Place which features great restaurants and quaint shops. The rental agency, Modern Beach, was phenomenal… Donna checked on us frequently and was always prompt, courteous, and helpful. We will definitely book this property again!

Excellent location

We loved this property which is right on the beach with close walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Location can’t be beat and is away from the hustle and bustle closer in to Destin. Beds were comfortable and plenty of kitchen amenities for cooking etc. Any needs we had were promptly addressed from the property management company. Will definitely stay here again but agree with others that house could use some updating.

Grandma and Grandpas House

Words can’t explain how far the pictures differ from the actual house. We should have known better. Pool lights didn’t work, no lighting on back patio, most of the doors and cabinet doors broken. White trim had black stains from not being cleaned literally everywhere. Disgusting. The couch is not even comfortable to sit on at all. Broken patio chairs. Sand in our bed when we arrived like someone was just in it. Good thing it’s on the water or it would be a struggling unit.

Relaxing Beach House

The home is a lovely beach house. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The view from the deck was beautiful. Communication with the property was immediate. The pool was heated and the kids enjoyed it. The easy stroll to the six beach chairs and umbrellas every day while the kids went up and down the stairs was very family friendly. Thank you for such a restful stay.

perfect location!!! 5 stars pool was great and views from back porch were phenominal. only downside was the furniture was beat and not enough of it ...washer and dryer totally beat and the dishwasher is old....in need of more seating and update the bathrooms. the location outweighed those things tho. We would stay again if updated.

Friends Weekend

The house was very convenient to downtown with everything in walking distance. Lots of space for our group. Nice deck to enjoy on the beachside and small pool. Wish the bunkbeds had a full bathroom. Very nice house but recommend the furniture and floors need to be cleaned better. Also, no mirrors in the bedrooms which made getting ready harder for a larger party. Overall very satisfied with everything. The management team was very accommodating.

Heavenly vacation

I was slightly worried about booking this property since there were no reviews from the new rental agent. No need to worry! The location couldn't be better; we walked to everything we needed except the grocery store and got delivery from Publix! The house is not as luxurious as some of the neighbors but I'm telling you, we were extremely comfortable and had plenty of room. And the price was right. Kuddos to new bedding (luxury) and tons of towels and beach towels! We will be back!

"Blessings" was a true Blessing

Our family of 12 fit comfortably in the home. The views were spectacular and the home has plenty of room to spread out for privacy. The location is convenient for either walking to restaurants or a short drive to shopping/eating. Additionally, Modern Beach Vacations was awesome! From booking all the way through the stay, our property manager was helpful and in touch. We had internet issues that she promptly took care of. The house needs updates so if you are looking for plush surroundings, this is not the place. But if you're looking for a seamless booking in a home right on the beach where you can have six adults and six active kids, this is your place! We would come again in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for something ultra modern, new, with the Instagram aesthetic - this isn’t for you. This is more of grandma and grandpas beach cottage. Could the property use some TLC? Sure. HOWEVER to get 5 bedrooms, directly on the beach, with a private heated pool and walking distance to shops/restaurants in Santa Rosa Beach for this price it can’t be beat. We are typically Marriott people, but we would stay here again in a heartbeat and absolutely plan on coming back.

Location Location Location

This house was in the very perfect location- being right on the beach is a game changer. Walk out the door and down the steps and there you are - with Chairs and Umbrellas for all. So nice to be in between Destin and Seaside to avoid the crowds and traffic. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. It was sturdy and a great rustic beach house, just dated and minimal; without updates, extras or niceties. But everything worked. Water pressure was good and hot, appliances worked, plenty of towels, TVs in all rooms and comfortable beds. The pool was great to have and temperature was nice. It was perfect for our family of 6 - with room to spare for maybe 4-6 more max- definitely not 22. I would rent it again outside of peak season - being right on the beach with access and views was priceless.

Great location but AC on the fritz

A great location. The property is spacious and the private pool is a perk. Unfortunately, the AC was not working properly our entire vacation. We sweltered in 77 degree temps most of the time with the AC set to 68. The property manager was very responsive. However, I had to communicate with them and meet maintenance people or outside vendors every single day of our seven day vacation. The house does not have a safe; so I had to be present while people were working in the house. We also noticed all of the upstairs vents dropped condensation on the floors and in one bedroom onto a bed. This made us a little concerned about mold in the vents and attic. I would only endorse this property if the owner can prove the AC units and vents have been replaced and a current mold inspection has been conducted. If these repairs are made, it is lovely and spacious location for a family vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect and we loved having our own pool. Having 6 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas set up daily for us was so convenient! The house is well stocked with plenty of beach towels. The washer and dryer are new and got a lot of use during our stay. The management company was responsive and resolved a few small maintenance issues. The house is large and we loved that everyone had their own space. I would suggest adding more places to sit in the living room as our party of 10 couldn’t all comfortably sit together. The house is older and reminiscent of the 1980’s but it’s reflected in the price. It is very hot during the day, air units looked older. But you can’t beat the view and proximity to the beach.
