We loved our stay at Eagles Roost! Views were beautiful and is in a great location. Condo had everything we needed and beds were comfortable. Owners were very helpful and communicative as well. Would stay here again!
Fantastic location and wonderful place and view. We stayed for a ski weekend. Definitely need a 4x4 in the event of snow/rain due to the hill to get to the property.
We enjoyed our time at Eagle’s Roost! The layout was perfect for a couple. Kitchen has pretty much everything you could need. Most of our time was spent on the deck reading, bird watching and enjoying the ever changing layers of the mountains.
Beautiful Mountain Retreat (My favorite in the area!)
Truly a beautiful comfortable mountain retreat for a family or couple. Location is perfect between Boone and Banner Elk. The pictures and description is as advertised. Nothing lacking! The kitchen is well-stocked. The place is very clean. The deck is spacious with a gorgeous view! The condo is on a mountain ridge overlooking territorial view of the mountains. Faces east to enjoy most beautiful sunrises.
The owners Jerome and Kellie are great communicators and hosts. Will definitely be back!
This condo was an amazing find and stay! What a great location that's in between all there is to do! Easily visit downtown Boone, Grandfather Mountain, or other notable locations in the area, then come back home to a beautiful view that left me wanting to look out the window all day (the back porch is where it's at)! The host was great and kept me informed about things, ensuring a smooth process for this first time Vrbo-er! The space was great for a small to medium size family. The condo also had all the comforts of home and we didn't have to go out for anything while we were in town for a weekend. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation! I'm already planning my next trip!
We loved our stay in Eagle's Roost. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and the towels were plentiful- they even provided pool towels which was a nice touch! We appreciated the little extras like the bottle of wine, nice toiletries, and high end paper towels and toilet paper not the cheap stuff! The outdoor deck was nicely furnished and the mountain view was breathtaking! We enjoyed both the outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and the indoor pool. We've been staying in the Echota community for 10 years and we are never disappointed. We would definitely return to this condo again. Thanks for sharing Eagles Roost with us!
I have pretty high expectations and am usually let down in one way or another by rental properties. That was definitely not the case with this condo. We have stayed in the Echota community before and really enjoyed it so booked the Eagles Roost this time due to it being a bit larger than our last rental and having more people staying. The pictures are 100% what you’re getting. We had 4 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space with the loft. The view is beautiful even when clouded by the snow (which is what we went to see). The roads during snow can at times be a little difficult to navigate if you don’t enjoy driving in it, but we love riding around in the snow, sliding and just enjoying the sights. Less than 10 miles from Sugar Mountain, which is where we prefer to go for playing in the snow. Also centrally located if you want to go to Boone or Blowing Rock. Very clean and has all everything you need - laundry detergent, fully stocked kitchen, linens. The owners are super responsive to messages and give you all of the information you need ahead of time, you likely won’t need to contact them for anything. We will be renting again!

About the host
Hosted by Kellie Daley
Jerome & Kellie moved to the Appalachian mountains in 2016 following a lifetime dream to live in the High Country. We love hiking, cycling, and enjoying great food and wine with friends and family. One of our long-term projects is to hike the entire 2180 miles of the Appalachian Trail. :) In the meantime, we love welcoming guests into several wonderful retreat homes like this one!
