About the host
Hosted by Jenn
I retired from a tedious gig in NY and moved to NC to become a beekeeper. Having a rental property next door to my home keeps me busy. While I am a new host on VRBO, I have been a super host elsewhere since July of 2021, and have plenty of experience providing consistent 5 star stays for all guests! I love sharing our rental with people who love nature and enjoy immersing themselves in it. I also love teaching people about bees and beekeeping. If you've ever wanted to go inside a beehive, contact me about taking a tour at my apiary! Full suits & gloves provided. April-July.
Why they chose this property
We moved to this community in 2016. We chose it because we love nature and peace and quiet. This road has traffic very rarely and the gravel keeps the speed down. We are located at the very end of the road so it is very private. It is a lucky thing to live somewhere where you can almost completely remove yourself from the world of man made noise & light pollution. Having said that, please make sure you look at where we are on a map as soon as I send you the directions, nothing is more disappointing than a 4-star review on location from someone who skipped this important step! The cabin is VERY REMOTE!! We are 17 miles from Brevard, so it is advisable that you do all your shopping before arriving at the cabin.
What makes this property unique
When I began planning this rental I first thought about who it would be for. I envisioned it as a place where a couple or close friends could spend time in nature without a lot of distractions from normal life in an unforgettable setting. I wanted to provide people with all the little things that make a place feel like home but still leave enough space where you could hang your hat and stash your belongings without a fuss. I think the outside tub provides a unique, natural experience and unlike a hot tub, works well to cool yourself down with in the summer months. The hummingbirds are not shy about visiting the feeder or flowers planted by the tub while it's in use either. Come stay and make some incredible memories!
