Private Lake House On Beautiful Tuscarora Lake/5 Bdrm/3 full Bath/waterfront

Enjoy the beauty and relaxation of this beautiful lake home in the scenic hills of Central New York. The best swimming, fishing (especially bass & walleyes), kayaking are right off your own large dock. While sitting on your very comfortable dock and deck furniture you can enjoy the amazing sunrises and observe the local wildlife which includes: bald eagles, loons, geese, herons, and ducks. Kayaks, row boat, paddle board, paddle boat, and canoe for your use. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate motor boats at our Lakehouse due to the fact it is a private lake and there is not a public launch. The lake house is located on a secluded road which is great for walking, riding bikes, or jogging. Bonfire pit and wood provided for bonfires. The house is fully furnished with newer furniture. Two full sectionals, flat screen tvs, newer mattresses: one king, three queens, two twins, and all linens provided. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Keurig available. Cable, internet, and wi fi provided. Great place for family fun or just a relaxing getaway. The Blue Canoe, a casual restaurant , is located at the north end of the lake. Beautiful fall foliage. Winter sports include: ice fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, etc. Graduations and special events at Syracuse University, Colgate, Morrisville, Hamilton, and Cazenovia College are all nearby. Available for all seasons. Rates maybe negotiable depending on length of stay and time of year. Special rates for couples for get away times.

Beautiful home ! It had everything we needed and more . We spent the weekend with family to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from SUNY ESF ( about 40 min from Syracuse ) . Perfect place away from the city to celebrate with family . Plenty of room for everyone. 3 bedrooms on main floor ( one king room and two queen rooms) and full bathroom. Upstairs had loft space with a day / trundle bed , a bedroom with a queen( or double - can’t remember) and another room with a set of twin beds and also a full bathroom. The basement area had a great space for playing games or relaxing away from main level living area . Basement also had a bathroom with a shower . Basement had a second fridge and laundry room. The deck was a perfect spot to relax on Sunday afternoon. The rooms were clean , the host was great with communication, the kitchen was fully stocked , the house was very family friendly ! It even had outlet covers for the two toddlers we had . We saw a bald eagle and it was amazing! The stairs coming in can be tough , but the older family members we have with mobility issues did fine . We managed to fit 3 cars in the driveway & parking on the road wasn’t awful . I’d just have better lighting because the solar lights near the stairs weren’t bright enough after a few cloudy and rainy days- but that’s an easy fix and the house is still 5 stars all around ! The only real negative is that we didn’t have more time to spend , we would love to come back and enjoy the lake !!

Feels like you are home with a beautiful view.

My wife and I stayed at this excellent property and had day visits from friends. There are many large public spaces both inside and out all with excellent views. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the dining room is large.There is very good seating at the water which was clean and weed free. We enjoyed a short swim to the nice raft.This is a perfect place for a family, large or small or for those looking for a quiet place to relaxWe will return again.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The whole experience was everything we had hoped for. Swimming with the platform to jump from. Fishing with so many catches we lost count. The fire pit for s’mores. The downstairs in the evening for adult time playing cards and laughing. Plenty of room to spread out. Karol was super easy to work with. Wonderful lake house

4 siblings and spouses stayed here for our moms birthday and a nephews wedding. It was a beautiful very comfortable place for us all to gather. Great amenities including a game room downstairs, kayaks, and canoes. Beautiful views of the lake. Host Karol was super communicative make ng sure we were comfortable. All in all a great place to stay.

Beautiful house on Tuscarora Reservoir! Great dock area for swimming and canoes and kayaks available for paddling. House fit seven of us comfortably with lots of seating and areas to relax.

We stayed at Karol’s lake house for our daughter’s graduation from Colgate U. We had plenty of space for 8 to sleep, 3 full bathrooms was very helpful, the kitchen was supplied with many essentials. There was enough space inside and out (large deck with gorgeous lake views) to host a BBQ for our daughters roommates and their families before the evening ceremonies. Most importantly Karol was very accommodating, helping us manage timing of all the university activities. To cap off the weekend the nephews caught a few largemouth bass. We would highly recommend the lake house.

Peaceful and Perfect

The house and property are perfect for family gatherings. Peaceful and beautiful. The morning sunrise on the back deck is a must! The house was clean and fully stocked with all you’ll need including some pantry items. We stayed for SU graduation weekend and the 40 minute ride to campus was very easy.

Overall the experience was amazing! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the steps leading into the house were more than I expected. We were completely fine with it but others may have trouble. There was so much space, everything was well stocked, breakfast in the dining room was so cool, and the views were perfect. Would definitely stay here again 😊

We thank our guest for their stay and for leaving our home in great condition. We have ten steps to go down to our home and have had several older people rent our home. Wonderful slice of paradise

We were in the area for our daughter's graduation from Caz. It was also SU's graduation and I couldn't find hotel rooms. I came across this house and had no idea what to expect. It ended up being the best gathering place for our family. The lake is gorgeous! We sat on the deck and enjoyed the view. My girls kayaked and swam in the lake. Everyone enjoyed their time at the house. We will be back!

Lake life

Responsive and flexible hosts. They were available when we had questions. House is modern with lake house feel. Beds were comfy and rooms are clean. 3 bedrooms with at least queen beds on the main level, beds for 5-6 upstairs, large finished basement that could sleep others. Bathrooms with showers on every floor including basement. Play room and laundry in basement. 2 refrigerators. Laundry worked well. A nice living room in main area as well as one just as large in basement. TV’s have cable and roku. Wifi works well all the way to the lake. Cell service works for the most part but some dead spots. Outside is the best. Large deck overlooking the lake, second level grass with table, and the dock is great area for being right on the water with some nice cushioned outdoor furniture. 2 canoes and 5 kayaks. Water is clear and perfect spot to swim or throw a fishing line in. We caught multiple bass, pike and one of the largest Sunny’s I’ve seen. Blue Canoe restaurant was good. Recommend Nelson Creamery, Madison Country Distillery, and Ray Bro’s BBQ. Large kitchen fully stocked. There are multiple areas to have meals. Inside, the upper deck, table on lawn, and the dock with tables by the water. The grill works well and was full of propane. Fire pit near the water with wood supplied You can squeeze 3 cars into the driveway and if needed could fit another 2 or so on the road. Overall the house is great and I would highly recommend. Lake life at its finest.

Karol was great to deal with. Check in was flawless. The house was beautiful. We were there for a 3 generation family reunion and had so much fun on our long weekend. The views of the lake were spectacular. Our last night we enjoyed a fire as the sun set. The changing leaves were breathtaking. I highly recommend this property! Thank you, Karol!
