Nestled on 1.5 acres of land and set back off the road, this marvelous, three-story home is ready to offer everything you need for a memorable and tranquil stay! This mountain-view home belongs to Waterville Estates, where you will find abundant entertaining amenities, including hiking/skiing trails, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports courts (basketball, volleyball, and tennis), a game room, a fitness center, lockers, a rec center, a BBQ area, and a pond with a sandy beach.

This darling retreat is conveniently located in the heart of the White Mountains with Campton Mountain Ski Area less than a mile away, making all of your snowy dreams a reality! In the warmer months, you can enjoy the many outdoor amenities at the rec center, hiking the Welch-Dickey Trailhead and Polar Caves Park. Other great places to visit include White Mountain Disc Golf, The Flying Monkey, Polar Caves Park, Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, Alpine Adventures, and Hobo Railroad.

The main level boasts an open kitchen with all the essentials to prepare culinary masterpieces, a dining area, and a welcoming living room with vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, and a smart TV. It's a wonderful spot to unwind with the family, stream favorite movies, and simply relax. There is a 10x15 deck off the main level, which also offers a great spot to relax while sipping on your morning coffee or cold beverages, grilling, and taking in the impressive mountain views. Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms and a den with a walkout to the backyard on the lower level and two bedrooms on the upper level, one of them being the main suite.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect Spot for Families

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is in a quiet, private location—perfect for relaxing. The kids loved the fire pit in the evenings, and the PlayStation was a fun bonus for all ages. The house was well-equipped and comfortable. Highly recommend and would love to stay again

Fun getaway

Nice home to enjoy the outdoors. Enjoyed grilling on the deck and just relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised by the solo stove fire pit that was not listed when we were booking but definitely enjoyed it. Definitely thinking of coming back here in the fall and enjoying smores with the kids with the fire pit

Snowy at snowood

Property is very simple. Everything is somewhat dated and run down but functional and clean. We got 10" of snow one day of our trip which closed down the community center and pool for the day which was a bummer but not a surprise. Make sure you have working 4wd for the driveway

One of the main reasons we booked this house was because it claimed to have a hot tub and fireplace. The details of the house do say that the hot tub is at the rec center, but they neglected to say that the rec center required a pass. Once we were a few days away from arriving I received an email with the additional details. The house came with two passes, but we would have to pay 10 each for the rest of our party. Needless to say we didn't use the rec center. We attempted to use the fireplace, which was gas. The instructions were in a binder on the mantle. There were so many steps to turn it on, we eventually got the pilot on, but the flame would not come on. We called Vacasa customer service, and they said they would send someone the next morning. I got a phone call around 1pm the next day from someone asking if I wanted them to drop by and look at the fireplace. I couldn't answer because I was skiing and had no service. Of course, I wanted them to fix the fireplace! The house also had outdated furniture/fixtures, and uncomfortable beds. When we arrived the stairs/porch were not shoveled and the entryway had no lights on.

Our reservation was UNAVAILABLE. We were notified en route to the destination. With three separate family groups traveling there, it was quite stressful. Vacasa was able to find us another accommodation in the area. However, we had several issues; the most important being the difference in cost. I was told on the phone that it was more expensive and that Vacasa would cover the difference. This is not true. The new accommodation was a lesser fee. This is dishonest and Ian very dissatisfied. I hope we can be compensated in some manner.

Do not stay here.

I was greatly disappointed in this rental. The kitchen was poorly stocked, the fireplace didn't work, the beds were lumpy or hard as rock. The hot water in the shower was just a trickle, I had to use cool water to shower. The listing boasts a hot tub - the hot tub was not on the premises, it was not even a walkable distance away. Worst of all, the smoke detectors were chirping upon our arrival. I called Vacasa to report this. They first suggested I remove the battery in an effort to stop the chirping, but anyone who has any experience with smoke detectors knows the detector will continue to chirp (as if that were the biggest concern). After I pointed out the concern wasn't the annoyance of the chirp, it was a safety concern. The person I spoke with said she would have someone come out to remedy the problem. After a couple of hours and no maintenance person, I called back and was told that there was no one available to go over that evening and they would come in the morning. No one came. I am shocked at Vacasa's lack of concern about guest safety. We were hours from home and had no where else to stay, so we stayed one night and left early as I did not want to stay another night in a home where safety was of no concern to the host and the rest of the accommodations were disappointing. I guess it was good that the fireplace didn't work after all.
