Welcome to Casa Doble!

Our house is situated at Puerta Cortés Resort, 3 miles north of the city of La Paz. We're part of a small, gated cluster of homes on a hillside above the marina, nestled amidst the fairways of the stunning Gary Player signature golf course. Over looking the Sea of Cortez and the city of La Paz, the house itself is a detached 3 bedroom 2 bathroom fully furnished home decorated in the Mexican tradition.

The master bed room has a king sized bed from which you can see the ocean and mountains without even lifting your head off the pillow. The same is true from the ensuite Jacuzzi bathtub. The rest of the ensuite comprises of double sink vanity, a tiled rain shower and a separate toilet room. There is also a walk in closet.

The second bedroom is a bright and spacious room with a queen sized bed and walk in closet.

The third bedroom also has a queen sized bed and affords access on to the pergola covered, centre courtyard with views through the living room of the Sea of Cortez.

The second bath room, with shower, is adjacent to the two queen bedrooms. Laundry area is appointed with a washer / dryer, ironing board and other necessities.

The kitchen is furnished in stainless and granite. It is completely outfitted for day to day living with a side by side fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, glass stove top and oven. The dining room has seating for 8 and a buffet.

The living room consists of a large sectional couch accompanied by a club chair, an entertainment centre with a small library of books, a 42” flat screen HD TV, iTV box, allowing your to watch TV shows and movies, DVD player and wireless internet

All rooms have independent air conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort. The courtyard with its pergola and ceiling fan makes for a lovely shaded place to sit and read a book or sip a morning coffee.

The large terrace that extends the length of the house, has patio door access from both the living room and master bedroom. It has one of the most beautiful views in La Paz, over looking the Sea of Cortez.. As Jack Cousteau named it” the Aquarium of the world”. It is not unusual to see dolphin swimming by on a still, flat morning.

Open the gate at the end of the terrace and you have access to a lovely manicured green lawn to do your morning stretching or yoga. Steps away from the terrace you can go for a swim in the 25 meter infinity pool or just relax on one of the chaise lounges.

Casa Doble also invites our visitors to enjoy the amenities of the Puerta Cortés Resort which includes use of the private Puerto Beach Club, Hotel Indigo pool, gym and tennis courts. We include a 4 seater golf cart for during your stay, an additional deposit will be required and a waver signature along with a valid drivers license.

Casa Doble is the perfect place to enjoy the most memorable, beautiful sunsets you will ever see.

Amazing La Paz Villa

Paradise Found

Everything about the city is what gets me to come back. Casa Doble is the icing on the cake! The check in process is easy. The house is beautifully well kept. The access to the pool is great for a family with small kids. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio every morning drinking our coffee and sitting in the pool watching the sunset. Can’t wait to go back!

Just wonderful

Might be one of the best VRBO stays we’ve ever had. This property was better than advertised. Sometimes you stay at properties that are barely equipped or under equipped. This one was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and then some. Great location, excellent views and the Mgmt staff were first rate and very attentive. We will be coming back!

Me my cousin and our three sons arrived July 16th for five days of fishing. Fishing was little slow. But let me tell you Lynn & Robin, The owners of this beautiful place are very easy to work and communicate with. And their assistant Ibeth who lives in La paz she was very courteous and gracious with showing us around the place. This place is super super clean and just as described. I highly recommend you staying at this wonderful place. I will be back in 4-5 months. thank you lynn & Robin for a very wonderful and memorable stay with our sons..

The whole experience was excellent! The place is clean and well put together. The access to the beach club made it perfect. The service and quality at the club are really great. The restaurants in the marina are good. We particularly liked the Spanish restaurant for the quality of the food, the wine selections, service and entertainment. We’d suggest getting a car, especially if it’s a hotter month, because it’s a little bit of a walk down to the marina/beach. You can also use the car to go down there easily, and Balandra Beach is about 15 minutes from the place. There is also a nice palapa at Playa El Tesoro for some local food.

I just love staying here. the condo is immaculate and the views are great! I love being only steps away from basically a private pool. I have stayed here several times and have seen about 6 people in the pool that weren't with me in all my stays. Ibeth, the manager, is great to work with and Lynn is awesome!! Go but please don't tell anyone else about it lol!!!

Fantastic House, Fantastic Location

My wife and I have visited La Paz many times and have stayed at many different places. This was probably the best. We actually stayed at another house in Costa Baja about 3 years ago and met the owners of this house and toured it then. Immediately adjacent to the swimming pool, how convenient for the Munchkins and Grandpa. Everything was perfect inside. We fixed breakfasts in the house and normally ate the rest of our meals out. I might add that the owners seem particulary nice and accomodating in my emails. We hope to return to La Paz in a couple of months and will try to rent this home again. And if you've never been to La Paz, you're missing out on a special city.

Best Ever

We were fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful home for two months and never had a day that we didn't enjoy. The view is fantastic and the golf is as interesting as I have seen any where. Lynn has ensured that the house is very well equipped and Ibeth, the caretaker, was always available. We felt safe and secure and very much at home throughout Costa Baja.

Wonderful Place

AWESOME!!!!

What a great place to stay! I am already in process of booking return in October. This is the 2nd property in Costa Baja we have stayed at and if it had been the 1st there wouldn't have been a 2nd. It is wonderfully decorated and the proximity of the pool is great. We visited the Beach Club Pool but only stayed a short time as it was over run with kids! Can not wait to return!

Spectacular Holiday for the Six Amigos!

We had a fabulous time staying at Casa Doble and visiting La Paz for our first time! We were a group of three couples and the accommodations were ideal for the nine days we stayed. The home was immaculate had all that we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. We were pleased with all the unexpected extras including a cooler and towels for those picnics to the beach! I enjoyed starting my days doing yoga at poolside in solitude taking in the spectacular view . The resort was deluxe, expansive and not crowded. The only drawback was the pools and the ocean were quite cool because of the low night temperatures so we didn't get as much swimming in as usual. When we arrived, Leslie provided us a great overview of the town, restaurants and things to do. The information package at the house had all the information we needed. And she and Bob were always available to answer any other questions we had. Thanks for the advice! La Paz is a great place to visit. Don't miss the tour to Isla Espiritu and the snorkelling with the sea lions ! We had a fantastic day on our tour there led by Sofia, a lovely young lady who spoke excellent English and had a wealth of information about the islands (provided wetsuits). We also took a day trip to Playa Ventana to watch the kite surfers. We have already recommended Casa Doble and La Paz to our friends and hope to return.

The Beach club is great, the staff were over accommodating and super friendly. There is so much to do in La Paz and the owners have left nothing out of a comprehensive guide book with instructions, tips, phone numbers, and tourist pamphlets. You really feel taken care of. The Malecon comes alive at night, live music at Stella was a highlight for us. Lesley and Bob joined us for 18 holes, the Golf coarse is challenging and rewarding with spectacular views. We had a great time and plan on going back, Casa Doble it's like renting from family.

Wonderful Vacation!

Everything about this house, the location and La Paz was just lovely. The house was very clean, comfortable and we didn't lack for anything. Best location in Las Colinas. The views from the deck were spectacular. It is very safe and secure. The big infinity pool next door is rarely used so as other guests said, it was like having a private pool most of the time. We loved having access to all the Costa Baja ammenities - the beach club, towels, other pools. The golf course is amazing. We were impressed with La Paz. The town is very clean, people are friendly, a large number of excellent retaurants both in town and at the resort marina. Leslie went out of her way to help us in advance of our trip, upon arrival and departure. We definitely plan to return again and will hope to be repeat guests.

My husband, son, and daughter-in-law and I spent 4 wonderful days at this property and could not have been mor pleased. The home is very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with anything needed for cooking. The view is spectacular and the owner so accommodating to any need. The fishing wasn't as good as we would have liked, but swimming with whale sharks certainly made up for it. We BBQ'd our freshly caught fish on our private patio and enjoyed the fabulous amenities at Costa Baja's Beach Club and great restaurants. The hugh infinity pool, right off our balcony, was our private pool for the full visit. We will definitely go back next time we visit la Paz.

What an awesome place! Can't wait to go back!

We've stayed several other places in La Paz and this is the best! The views are better than the photos show. The place was quiet, clean (New) and very peaceful. You might think being next to the pool would be noisy but it wasn't. It was a big advantage having it so close. The Beach and Marina amenities are top quality. And the service every where we went was very good. You really don't need to go outside of the resort. But, the town of La Paz is charming and has some very good restaurants and sightseeing. Lesley was very nice to deal with. She was quite helpful to us in finding new places to go and see. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I, along with another couple, had a great stay here. The new house was fully equipped with all the essentials as well as many extras. From the top of the line appliances, including a Weber barbeque on the patio, down to the pool toys, all was great. The pictures don't do the view justice as you can see forever across the sea while watching the sunset. The infinity edge pool being 5 steps from the house was also a very nice bonus, it was clean and quiet and during our 9 day stay we saw only 2 other people enjoying it. The gated community was secure with friendly staff. The home is located close to the beach in the middle of a brand new Gary Player golf course, that I have to say was one of the most fun courses I've ever played. It was empty both rounds we played which was hard to believe as the weather was great and the rates fair. All in all we loved the home and the area and will definitely be booking our holidays here again.

We have been coming to La Paz for over 12 years now. We started out on our sailboat in Marina de La Paz where we met our great partners from California. They are now full time residents of La Paz. Several years later we moved to Costa Baja Marina and Resort where we have found our second home. We spend 3 months of the year here and when we saw the Costa Baja Project developing, knew we wanted to be a part of it. With our very good friends, we decided to invest in the Las Colinas part of the Project and purchased one of the best casas in Las Colinas. We took possesion in April 2011 and began the fun task of decorating it in beautiful Mexican Tradition.We just love it! La Paz is unique in that it still has a small town Mexican feel to it even though you can find everything you need here.

What makes this property unique

Whether you are into golfing on one of the most beautiful golf courses or relaxing on the beach or by the pool, you can't beat it. There is so much to offer in La Paz. It is a safe, friendly, welcoming community that we have enjoyed for over 10 years. As well as the pool right beside the casa, we have access to the Beach Club which has a 50 meter infinity pool right at the beach, a Palapa Bar and restaurant and a nicely equiped gym.
We also have a couple of the best restaurants in town right there at the marina. It's a short walk or golf cart ride away.
