This was such a perfect, relaxing, casual vibe for our 3-day weekend. There is a roomy living room and a kitchen that is stocked with pretty much everything you would need. The backyard is a great place to hang out and the ocean view out the front window was so peaceful. This cottage is also walkable within 3-5 minutes to coffee shops, bookstore, boutiques and restaurants. Super cute town and we would stay there again.
We loved staying at this cute cottage. The only bummer was that we didn’t get to hang out at the property for extended time due to being in town for a lacrosse tournament, but would love to go back. The coffee shop down the street has GREAT coffee and the bookstore “Godmothers” is the coziest I’ve ever been to.
Lillie’s was a wonderful stay for my friend and I who were in town from LA & AZ , for a wedding. It has incredible views of the ocean and landscape. The house is decorated really unique and gives the surf bungalow feel. Would definitely stay here again.
Check-in was easy. Location fantastic and apartment spacious. We would definitively come back if staying around Santa Barbara.

Philip and his guests were absolutely wonderful to host. Communication was smooth and friendly from the very start, and they were respectful of the space throughout their stay. They left everything clean and tidy, showing great care and consideration. It was a real pleasure having them, and we would be happy to welcome Philip and his guests back anytime. Highly recommended!
Great location close to coffee shops and other restaurants as well as the beach. Cottage is very welcoming and is a great space with everything you need. Host is very responsive and helpful!
Lots of room for our group of 4. Spectacular beach view from living room, Property was very conveniently located close to Montecito to the north and Carpenteria to the south. Comfortable beds and roomy bedrooms. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
This place is so spacious, private, comfortable & in a great location! Amazing ocean view! Summerland is a quaint town and very close to Montecito & Santa Barbara. I have met the property manager & she is SO personable & helpful! I have stayed here before & have already reserved it again.
We loved staying at this charming beach cottage. Amazing beach views and the host was exceptionally wonderful. We left some stuff behind on accident and they went out of their way to help us get it back. We would visit again in the future!
Great location, we were able to walk to town and to a small beach. It was still close enough to easily drive to Santa Barbra “Funk Zone” and State Street. We came for a wedding so really didn’t spend much time at the house, but we plan to come back again soon!
My mom and my sister and I had the best few days here! The house was bigger than we expected, the layout was so cute and felt nostalgic to cottages we grew up spending our summers in. The quick walk down the hill into little Summerland was convenient and we absolutely loved the ocean view from the house and how cozy, quaint and clean the home was. We cannot wait to return, hopefully making this an annual visit.

We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the cottage. You are welcome to stay with us again!
We loved the place - nice old house , very liveable with gorgeous sea views from the windows and cool neighborhood just south of Santa Barbara.
Highly recommended
The location was excellent. The town of Summerland had wonderful food and shopping experiences. We all loved the little market and Godmother's bookstore. The location was a short drive to the wharf and beaches. Highly recommend a stay at this cute cottage.
I was with friends a few nights then on my own with family nearby. It was comfortable and fun with the three of us, but it was also a place where I felt very safe and comfortable by myself. I especially loved the fireplace and just the ambience of the house. Summerland is a unique town and a very easy drive to Santa Barbara.
We were in awe the moment that we entered the driveway of Lillie's Cottage. The property provides excellent privacy. And when we entered the cottage we were so pleasantly surprised at the size of the indoor space. Much bigger than we imagined, and the quality of the structure and the furnishings was amazing. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the excellent indoor fireplace, and we enjoyed hours of time in the spacious backyard, sitting by the awesome stone fireplace. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were so soft, I hadn't slept that well in a long time! The hostess was delightful and on-point. If you are looking for a home-away-from-home to relax and recharge your soul, look no further. We are so grateful for the privilege of staying in this enchanting, little piece of heaven on earth. Thank you!!
We looooved our stay here. The cottage was so lovely and was well prepared/stocked. Walking distance to the coffee shop, breakfast places, etc. and close enough drive to downtown Santa Barbara. I loved that there was a gas stove, oven, and air fryer that made cooking so easy. The cottage itself has incredible views, huge windows that look out over the water. It definitely got cold at night but we used the space heaters and got cozy with the wood burning fireplace. My small group came here on a retreat and it was the perfect vibes. The backyard was lovely to hang out in and in the evenings we lit a fire and hung out in the living area playing games! We will absolutely be back!
Rented for over-flow of family that needed a place near to us (9 nights). This clean, comfortable house hit just the mark: it's a Summerland classic with amazing views and walkable to all the shops! The bright, sunny kitchen had all we desired for cooking meals, and the wi-fi and TV worked perfectly. It was spotless and fresh, and with lovely small pieces of art. Didn't take time to enjoy the yard too much, but mostly liked hanging in the living room. Described correctly, this is not your high-end, posh stay. It's for those who remember beach cottages in the '70s -- cool vibe and peaceful neighborhood feel. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
Cute cottage with a great view of the ocean, nice little back yard, and easy access to the beach and to Highway 101. The host responded immediately to our texts. We would definitely stay here again.
