Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re so glad you enjoyed the space and amenities (especially the hot tub, sauna, and Pac-Man 😊). We’d love to host you again anytime!
House was amazing, will definitely be coming back perhaps when the weather isn’t as snowy. Oh and did I tell you it sits at a higher elevation then Alma, off the beaten path but very secluded and views are just as good as the house.

Thank you, Sarah! We’re so glad you loved the views and appreciated our quick communication. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime!
Phenomenal property in a wonderful location. The cabin is very clean with nice furniture and bedding. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the food we brought. The neighborhood is very quiet and the balconies are private. The sauna is a wonderful feature and I'm convinced every mountain vacation rental should have one. We had an extremely enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again

Thank you so much for your review, Trevor! We are thrilled you had a nice stay and enjoyed the sauna and well stocked kitchen. We hope to get the opportunity to host you again in the future!
House was very clean and provided anything you could possibly need. The location is about 40 minutes from Breckenridge. The road to the house is a couple miles of not very well maintained rocky dirt roads so be aware a higher clearance vehicle is necessary. The location is private and peaceful, however the house does have cameras on both decks pointing directly at the sauna and hot tub so if you are uncomfortable with that be mindful.

Thank you, Sarah! We’re so glad you enjoyed the cleanliness, peaceful setting, and well-stocked cabin. We appreciate you noting the road conditions—higher clearance is definitely recommended. Just to clarify, the exterior cameras are solely for security and monitoring property access; they do not record audio and are never used to monitor guest activity. We’re happy you had a relaxing stay!
The cabin was beautiful, very clean, and in a great location. We had a lovely time staying here and would definitely book again. We were doing some backcountry skiing over the weekend between FairPlay and Breckenridge so this cabin was the perfect place to stay. The host was also very attentive! The one caveat is that the WiFi does not work well. Verizon cell service was very strong so we were able to use our unlimited data. But I would caution any remote workers or people dependent on WiFi on staying here.

Thank you for your kind words, Lauren! We’re so glad you had a great stay and enjoyed the cabin. We appreciate your feedback about the internet—our service runs through Starlink satellite, which usually provides reliable connectivity, but occasional weather or signal interference can cause disruptions. We always encourage guests to reach out if they experience any issues so we can troubleshoot during their stay. Thanks again for choosing our cabin, and we’d love to host you again in the future!
Cassandra’s place was absolutely perfect! From the pre-arrival communication to everything about the stay itsef.. pure magnificence! — The location is top notch, with mountain views and privacy. The cabin itself is epic, with two floors of the finest attention to detail and mountain-themed ambiance. — our two dogs had the best time exploring the property, as well. — we made some lifelong memories over our 3 days in the cabin and will return again soon to make some more. — Can’t say enough good things about this amazing space and host(s) — Thank you

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you and your pups had such a memorable stay. It means the world to us that you enjoyed the cabin, the views, and all the little details. We can’t wait to welcome you back for more mountain memories soon!
The cabin was one of the best that we have stayed in so far. It was beautiful, clean, cozy and and at the same time roomy for 10 people. The location couldn't be more perfect. It was surrounded by snow covered pine trees and overlooked the snow capped mountains, perfect for a winter holiday in the Colorado mountains.Cassandra, our host, was super responsive and shared all the info we needed prior to our trip. Can't thank her enough for making our stay cozy and comfortable. The cabin had all that we needed for our big group, which made our vacation in the mountains a memorable one. If we get another chance we wouldn't definitely return.
Super spacious, squeaky clean, and charming yet modern cabin. True to photos. The property blended the outdoors and indoors with lovely private wrap-around decks overlooking the mountain woods. It snowed on our last evening and the scenery was nothing short of magical. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa/heat therapy equipment in chilly mountain weather. Our stay felt like a retreat. The house has all of the comfortable amenities we would have at our own house and more, from skiing gear drying rack to towel warmers to a surprise complimentary s’mores kit. Hiking trails were just a short car ride away. Everything was well thought out. We found welcome books and instructions all around which made navigating the house a breeze. The host was quick with responses, super flexible, and very attentive. The roads leading to the house were unpaved and we saw beautiful wildlife on our way up. Definitely be mindful and not arrive too late in the evening.Tl/dr: this is going on our highly recommended vacation rental list.

Thank you for the amazing review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the spacious, spotless cabin, the mountain views, and the spa amenities. It’s wonderful to hear the welcome touches and clear instructions made your stay feel relaxing and easy. We appreciate your recommendation and would love to host you again!
This cabin is absolutely incredible! Our family had the best time here. Cassandra has thought of every little detail, and the property is full of ways to relax and enjoy your stay. From the brand-new hot tub and sauna, to the cozy firepit, foosball table, and two spacious wrap-around decks with stunning mountain views—you’ll never run out of things to do. Inside, the touches are just as thoughtful: towel warmers, a s’mores welcome kit, unbelievably comfortable beds, and so much more. And at night, the starry skies are breathtaking! At first, we worried the cabin might feel too far from things, but it turned out to be the perfect balance. You get peace and solitude without feeling isolated, plus there are plenty of activities nearby. Just a mile away are trailheads perfect for half-day hikes. Fairplay, a small but charming town with shops and restaurants, is close by, and the South Park ghost town there was a unique stop the entire family enjoyed. We also drove 45 minutes south to Buena Vista for whitewater rafting, and Breckenridge is just 45 minutes north if you want a bigger mountain town experience. If you’re looking for a family getaway, this cabin is ideal. You get the quiet beauty of the mountains, the comfort of a well-stocked retreat, and easy access to adventure. One note: the road up to the cabin is a bit rugged, more adventurous than a typical gravel road, but our Subaru Ascent handled it with no problem.Trust me: your family will love staying here!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear your family enjoyed the cabin’s amenities and the chance to explore all the nearby adventures. It makes us so happy to know the little touches helped make your stay special. We’d be honored to welcome you back for another mountain getaway anytime!
Was looking for a fun, relaxing extended weekend getaway and this place was perfect for us! There were 4 adults and 2 young children and a large dog and the accommodations were just right. This place has a very cozy vibe and loved how quiet and beautiful it was inside and out! It was also snowing when we enjoyed the hot tub and firepit and that just added a big plus to the stay. The owners from the get go were very quick to respond to all inquires and was even willing to go above and beyond to make our trip more enjoyable such as having the fridge stocked with groceries, arranging a private chef or even help arrange a catering service. Another plus was how well the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with the needed necessities such as paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Surprisingly, was highly impressed on the awesome wifi coverage! It was overall easy to get to but if there is inclement weather such as rain or snow, please heed the owners strong recommendations to have a 4wd or AWD. It is in the mountains overall and the last 2 miles to the house is a dirt road. If you are looking for a great place to stay, I highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the cozy mountain atmosphere, especially the hot tub and firepit in the snow. It means a lot to hear the home, amenities, and communication helped make your trip relaxing and memorable. We truly appreciate the recommendation and would love to host you again anytime!
The place was lovely. Checking in was smooth. Comfortable beds. Well-equipped kitchen. Sauna was cold on the bottom but hot tub was great. Heating the downstairs bedroom was confusing. We had to operate the portable heater to stay warm.

Thank you for the 5-star review—we’re so glad you found the beds comfortable!
We appreciate the feedback as well. Sauna heat can vary slightly since heat rises, and we’ll review our heating instructions to make things even clearer. We also regularly maintain our HVAC system and will ensure vents are freshly checked.
Thanks again for staying with us—we’d love to host you again!
About the host

My husband, Chris, and I moved to Colorado about 5 years ago and completely fell in love with the state! Our favorite part about hosting is being able to provide a way for our guests to experience everything we love about Colorado.
Why they chose this property
Living in southern Colorado, we often traveled through Fairplay on our way to the mountains. We fell in love with the charm of the town, its stunning natural beauty, and its close proximity to some of our favorite hiking trails and majestic peaks.
What makes this property unique
We absolutely love the stunning mountain views that can be enjoyed from the spacious two-level wraparound decks, offering guests the perfect opportunity to soak in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The cabin's two separate living spaces make it an ideal choice for families or groups traveling together, providing both comfort and privacy for a truly relaxing mountain retreat.
