This is a very nice home- clean & quiet. But it is not downtown. Staying here requires a car to go do much of anything.

We do want to gently clarify the location for future travelers. Our condo sits next to Hampton Park, the largest and nicest park on the entire Charleston peninsula, with beautiful gardens, walking trails, and plenty of space to relax. This puts us in the highly sought after peaceful residential neighborhood of Wagener Terrace on the edge of downtown Charleston (not in the busy hotel/traffic core), which many guests specifically appreciate for the calm, peaceful, & safe vibe. Downtown Charleston itself is compact—roughly 1.5 miles wide and 3 miles long—so everything in the historic district is very close. From our location, it's typically just a 5-minute Uber ride (or a pleasant bike/scooter ride) to the main attractions, restaurants, and sites. No car is required, though free on-site parking is available if you choose to have one. We hope you still enjoyed your overall stay in Charleston, and we'd love to welcome you back if you're ever looking for a quiet, well-located base again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood outside of downtown Charleston. You can walk the area and enjoy a large, beautiful park nearby and also get a quick Uber into downtown. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating, even dropping off some specialty coffee when I inquired about a coffee maker!

What a lovely property in an excellent location. The home is very well appointed and has a great relaxing vibe. If you enjoy watching the sunset over the water a short 5 minute walk will get you there. Great neighborhood for walking or running. Quiet but close to everything. And if you are attending a wedding or other event at Lowndes Grove this location cannot be beat! Highly recommend.

Perfect spot for quiet and convenience!

Loved that a short Uber ride takes you anywhere you want to go affordably. All you need is right in the home, nice furnishings and decorating. Private near river in very safe area. Loved it and would go back!
