Absolutely beautiful property, pictures don’t do it justice. We had a great weekend stargazing and enjoying bonfires after hiking and fishing all day. We look forward to coming back.

It is so unique and spacious being a former schoolhouse, and it is evident that they spared no expense in the renovations. The decor is perfect, with its subtle, muted colors and no over-the-top decorations. The place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable—two of my top priorities!

Unique setting in an old schoolhouse. Great kitchen space. Nice touches such as a jukebox, video games, basketball court, and wonderful book selection. Furniture in living was very comfortable and a great space to hang out.

The old school house is magnificent! This is definitely a premier property! Clean, spacious, dog friendly and stunning. It would be the perfect place for a quiet retreat for crafters or book lovers. So much history in the building itself and the amenities are top notch. I can't say enough about this home!! The host was quick to respond and very helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We had a lovely stay in this restored school house. It's in the middle of corn fields which was very relaxing. It was nice to sit on the back deck and drink our morning coffee. The king bed was comfy. We had a question about how to work something and the host answered it immediately. I thought the third bedroom would be more of a sleeping loft but it was actually a closed off room. I think you would enjoy this home.

This place is special. Its character as a school house has been preserved (including old photos on display, taken in and around the building), but it's been turned into a nice, modern space that works well for a small group of people. Renovating a building more than a hundred years old must be tricky, but this one is solid. During our stay, we got more than five inches of rain. I worried a little that the basement spaces would let in water, but everything was fine, and we had a nice stay. We cooked a lot, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place is comfortable, with spaces to be together or spend time quietly, and the jukebox is cool. We'd like to come back sometime.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Old School House. A wonderful combination retaining the old architecture and blending modern elements. The kitchen and bathrooms were amazing! The house lends itself to family gatherings. I would definitely book this place again!
