The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful old “palazzo” (built in the 1400's) of the historic center of Rome , a short walking distance from Piazza Navona and from the most important city monuments.
This particularly favorable position makes it an ideal location for anyone who wants to visit Rome without tiring himself.
The door of the “palazzo” is huge in antique massive wood with studs and above coat of arms. The entrance hall where time ago the horses and the carriage went through conduct to a beautiful and elegant courtyard (15th century) with its characteristic double lodge supported by antiques granite columns with carved capitals.
On ground floor close to an antique fountain and a generous in fruits and fragrant flowers orange tree, stand the iron gate to access at the apartment.
The apartment, on two levels, is very quiet and light, and has recently been restructured and furnished elegantly with antique furniture which has been in my family for generations. Inside is made up of a good sized living room with a divan/bed, a completely furnished kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. On the upper floor there is a double bed with an additional single bed, and a bathroom (with some steps) with tub and shower. It comes with Air Conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Iron.
NEARBY The neighborhood also offers a range of fashionable shops and characteristic eating places, (trattorias, pizzerias, wine bars….) where typical Roman cuisine can be enjoyed so that visitors will really feel part of the atmosphere of old Rome.
A covered and secure parking is available near the apartment within walking distance (350 mt). The cost for 24h is 24 euros.
Restaurants, trattorie and pizzerie, supermarkets, groceries & bakeries are just around the corner and a fascinating open air fresh food market is held every morning in the medieval Campo de’Fiori square a few steps away from the apt. Nearby there are also, pharmacies, art galleries, antique shops, book-stores, phone centers, banks with ATM machines, travel agencies, post offices and tourist information points.
The apartment is well connected to all areas of Rome by public transportation (bus stops and taxi stands are easily accessible). The bus stop is near the corner of the building with direct links to Termini railway station, San Pietro, Coliseum, Campidoglio, Quirinale and so on..

The Host, Andrea was welcoming. The apartment is spacious & clean, within a safe courtyard. The facilities are very comprehensive, with washing machine & drying rack. Many cafes, restaurants, wine and other shops very close by. The location is very central to most major tourist attractions. Overall, it was a perfect apartment for our 6 night stay.
A wonderful location in the heart of Rome. Andrea worked with us all the way through and made sure if I had any questions or needed help he or Diego were available. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. The restaurants in the area are to many, we couldn't eat at them all!! But the most important part was we both felt very safe here and in the neighborhood. Was our first visit to Rome and our charming little Flat made it perfect.
The location was excellent! Andrea was a great host and helped with transportation to the apartment from the airport. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The apartment has steps and getting to the second bathroom could be challenging for some. This was our second trip to Rome. This location can’t be beat. And don’t miss the pizza place at the end of the street. Andrea was right on target with his recommendation!
Andrea’s Charming Novona Flat is everything it says on the tin! The space is absolutely charming (with the quirkiest second bathroom you d ever seen!). The building I. Which it’s located is lovely. The location is absolutely perfect!!! We were walking distance to so much: historic sites, great restaurants, Piazza Navona and the best gelato in Italy! It really made us appreciate Rome. Not only is the flat absolutely charming, but so is its owner. We rent a lot of VRBOs, and have never had such a great host. From his exceptional “guidebook” to his personal greeting and fabulous recommendations he was the perfect host. When in Rome, you’d do very well to stay here!
It was a perfect location in Rome and close to all the tourist sites we visited. There were many good restaurants, a bakery, and a small store nearby. It was very comfortable for our five day stay.
Great apartment in a beautiful location! Our host Andrea was very accommodating and provided us with a binder full of activities to do, recommended restaurants, and ways to get around Rome. 10/10 would recommend!
This apartment was in a great location for walking to most places we wished to visit. The check in process was easy, and the host met us at the property to explain everything. The place was clean and fit our needs perfectly!
We had a great experience with Andrea and his apartment. It was super comfortable and exactly as described and in a fantastic location. Most major attractions were in walking distance and with Piazza Navona 2 minutes away it was fantastic. We will be back!
Highly recommend. Great location, clean and unique space, and good recommendations and communication with the host.

Why they chose this property
I really like the area. This is the only place where you can really feel the atmosphere of ancient Rome civilization, the beauty of the monuments, squares, fountains and palaces. The neighborhood also offers a range of fashionable shops and characteristic eating places, (trattorie, pizzerie, wine bars….) where typical Roman cuisine can be enjoyed. Nearby there are also pharmacies, art galleries, antique shops, book-stores, phone centres, banks with ATM machines, travel agencies, post offices, tourist information points. The bus stop is near the corner of the building with direct links to Termini railway station, San Pietro, Coliseum, Campidoglio, Quirinale and so on..
What makes this property unique
The peace and quietness - even though you are in the middle of the oldest part of Rome. Everything is within walking distance - no need for a car and you can explore the beauty of the city mostly on foot. Within walking distance, there are many historical monuments such as Piazza Navona, St. Peter's Basilica, the Pantheon, the Coliseum with the Imperial Forum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. In addition, a few steps you can lose yourself in the narrow streets of Trastevere or there may be fascinated by the open-air market in Campo dei Fiori. You can also enjoy shopping in many boutique or spend pleasant evenings in the many restaurants or pubs in the historic center.
