THE HAVEN DESCRIPTION
Make yourself at home at The Haven at Chapel Ridge, a freshly remodeled, stylishly furnished 2 Br/2Ba home on quiet tree-lined street off Chapel Road in Waco, Texas. This charming cottage-style home has an open, airy feel. The home has a spacious primary suite (13'x17') with walk-in closet. The second bedroom has both full and twin beds. There's also a roll-away twin bed tucked away in a closet if needed. With 20 (yes, 20) pillows in the home, you’re sure to find one perfect for you!

Enjoy an extremely well-stocked kitchen with adjacent laundry. Feel free to make yourself comfortable with outdoor seating, gas BBQ grill, and fully fenced yard. The backyard also has two comfy seating areas, complete with café lights and a fire table.

This guest house is perfect for a quick getaway to enjoy a Baylor event, sightseeing Fixer Upper fans, and families wanting to relax.

When not out and about enjoying all Waco has to offer, relax in front of a 50-inch smart HDTV w/Roku for all your favorite streaming, play a board game, or have fun with the Wii gaming system. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a Wolfgang Puck indoor grill, crockpot, and even one of those hotel waffle makers! The Haven is stocked with waffle mix, butter, and syrup to start your day off right! You'll also be greeted with a variety of snacks upon arrival and a special surprise or two. The primary bedroom is equipped with a high quality mattress, a variety of pillow options, and a soundscapes sleep therapy alarm clock to help you get a restful night’s sleep.

Lori was an amazing host, what you see in the pics is what you get. She was very responsive to any questions we had. I loved how she was very detailed with notes in her home and the sweetest welcome she left us was so sweet and thoughtful. The area was amazing close to so many places and a very nice neighborhood. Definitely looking forward to booking again!!

The Haven is a great place to stay. Very close to Waco. Lots of place to go also near the Haven. The place was clean and everything you need. Lori had nice accessories in home, so ideal!

Lori was an amazing host! The property was soooo clean, beautiful, quiet, close to everything, and suited our needs for sure!!! I have stayed in many a VRBO, but this place was by far the best!!! We cannot wait to book with Lori again! Oh and she had peach cobbler and ice cream made for us too, and it was delicious!!!

Perfect hideaway!

House was very clean and had every thing we needed and then some! King bed was very comfortable and had no problem getting a good nights sleep. Massage chair and a sweet treat was a nice surprise after a long drive! Would definitely rent again!

I am a former Chicagoan, transplanted in the heart of Texas and LOVING it! Since 2008, this town is home to me and I am confident you will find much to enjoy in Waco as well. We live very close to the Haven at Chapel Ridge and are fond of this area. " The Haven" is perfect for a quick trip or for families needing an inviting place to stay while getting acclimated to the Waco area. This guest home is in the EXCELLENT Midway ISD (Independent School District). The children attend South Bosque Elementary School and River Valley Intermediate.

I taught Spanish (K-12) and English (Higher Ed) for many years and now am enjoying this newer chapter of life. I absolutely love hosting guests at my vacation rentals. I also have been fortunate to grow my business, LULUBELLE'S. You can find LULUBELLE'S shopping spots across town, specializing in vintage clothing (inside The Bevy Boutique) and upcycled vintage goods (inside Central Goods).

I also have own and operate THE WACO TROLLEY! Offering art tours and history tours, I stay quite busy. Guests receive a discount on your tickets 😊

This comfy home is ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood in the Woodway/Hewitt area of town and can arrive at Baylor, downtown WACO, and Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Market at the Silos within 15 minutes. Lots of great restaurants nearby and the neighborhood is very walkable!
