Celebration with grandchildren for successful school year.

My husband and I took our grandchildren and their parents to Smith Mountain to celebrate the successful completion of the school year. The property was very well suited for our three generations providing ample space for each. It was very well maintained and supplied.

Lovely Setting. Great Dock

We were visiting the area for a wedding and this was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lake. It was nice they had kayaks and a great dock space. Only downside was having to bring our own sheets and towels which IMO should have been included for the price. The kitchen was on the smaller side, but it worked for a few days. The highlight was the view of the lake and the dock with all the extra space to sit and enjoy the water!

Graduation weekend

This amazing property is much more than expected! With plenty of space for the family there was also plenty to do for fun. We came for an extended weekend for our daughter's graduation from Liberty and only wished we could have stayed longer. Luckily, we had one gorgeous day that we did not have to leave the home to swim in the lake, kayak and cook out. We would absolutely recommend this property and hope that we can enjoy it again!

Family Vacay

Very comfortable home. Well-equipped kitchen—lots of storage containers for leftovers. Beautiful deck/view, with option to be under cover or in the sun. Fun toys available for use—floating mat, other floats, kayaks & paddle board. Only downside was the boat traffic and wake/waves kicking around our rental boat. Thank you for being willing to contact the owner re: use of the boat lift—the rental boat fared OK w/out it. Overall a wonderful comfy getaway to one of our favorite places!

Lovely Lakeside Retreat!

Thank you, we had a wonderful week at this beautiful property. Gorgeous views of the sunrise over the lake, peaceful, calm, crisp March mornings enjoyed on the deck. Fabulous dock with space to sit out & enjoy the water. Lovely home with fully equipped kitchen & open plan living space, with 2 walls of windows overlooking the lake. Comfy sofas & long dining table to seat a large family. The bedrooms were clean & fresh, with plenty of bathrooms on both floors. We loved the master king-size with ensuite, especially the morning view over the water! The host was very helpful with any questions & responded promptly. We would highly recommend this gorgeous getaway!

Stay went seamlessly. House was perfect for our small group with the boathouse being very popular for water sports. Could not ask for anything more. Only one problem noted and should be given closer attention on all of your properties. The outdoor grille (propane) was in a potentially dangerous condition and deemed to be a fire hazard. Suggest closer inspection of similar appliances in this or any other properties that have similar appliances. Problem solved quickly in this case, as entire unit was replaced (same day) by the rental agency. Congrats on the quick response. Would definitely recommend the home for a relaxing stay.

This house is in the perfect spot on the lake. Timing it for the last week of august, it was like we had the lake to ourselves. We rented a boat nearby and were able to access all of the waterfront restaurants and best swimming spots. The home is perfect for a few families and we also enjoyed some evening walks in the quiet neighborhood. The main living area with access to the deck was our favorite part. The dock however, was where we spent most of our time- spacious, clean and so fun. We hope the make a trip here year after year!

Great weekend get away!

We have rented a lot of houses at Smith Mountain Lake and I must say that this one was definitely the cleanest. The house was cozy and the furniture and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the kayaks and the dock. The views were amazing. We would definitely go back.

Great Lake Getaway

This property was the perfect location for our long weekend lake getaway. We had 4 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone! The deck was amazing and we loved hanging out on the dock and floating on the lake. We cooked out every night and built a fire in the pit! It was perfect!! When we walked into the house I was actually pleasantly surprised that it is even better in person than in the pictures!! Windows surrounding the great room with nothing but water views. Spectacular! We will be back for sure!!

Great Views

We have stayed at many lakes before, but Smith Mountain Lake is by far the most gorgeous lake. This home offers a great view of the mountain and the clearest end of the lakes as well. The lot was wonderful in that there were no stairs to the lake and it only had a gradual slope. The dock was fabulous in that there was ample room to fish or just take in some rays. We had a lovely week and will be back.

Wonderful

Our family had a fabulous week at the house. The traveling party consisted of three couples, one with a two-year-old. Everyone had plenty of room and plenty of privacy. We cooked meals and enjoyed the deck, the green space below, the view, the private dock, the kayaks. Wouldn't change a thing. We're coming back.

Beautiful spot!

The setting, home, and grounds were beautiful. It was a perfect location as two of the adults were participating in the triathlon at the state park. Very conveniently located for that. Beautiful view, sunrises, plenty of space for our family and lots of activities and games for the children as well. Great family place to stay, will definitely come here again!

Pleasant get away

What an awesome 4 day get away. Loved the layout of the house. Great view of lake from almost anywhere in the house. Nice Mountain View from the dock. Enjoyed watching deer eat acorns from the driveway every morning. The kitchen had everything needed to make any meal we chose. House is located near restaurants, grocery store, gas stations, a boat marina. The only things I’d like to see change is that I wish they would allow pets because we try to take our dog when we do a week or longer vacation and he would love this place, but unfortunately we’ll have to choose a different house this summer when we return for a week and also the master bedroom really really heats up in the morning when the sun rises and hits the windows. Not sure why it was just this room but I imagine it’s extremely hot in summer since it was hot in there during cool fall mornings. The place was wonderful outside of those 2 small concerns of mine.
