Penthouse Condo with Panoramic Oceans Views Punta de Mita

Our Penthouse Condominiums is located within walking distance of the beach at Punta de Mita. It has panoramic oceans views with a fabulous view of one of the best surf spots in Mexico. Our condo is in the El Anclote project, which has it's own sky bridge down to the beach. On the beach at El Anclote, you will find a wide variety of great restaurants and shopping. You will also find lots to do with surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and fishing done right from the beach. From the beach, you can rent a boat to go to the world famous Marietta Islands where you can dive, sunbathe, or swim among the sea life. You can also rent all sorts of beach equipment from surfboards to kayaks on the beach at El Anclote.

If you are looking for a quieter experience, all the restaurants have lounge chairs on the beach where they will pamper you with food or drink. It is also lots of fun to shop from the beach vendors who walk up and down the beach selling their wares. Of course they expect you to barter. That's most of the fun.

El Anclote Condominiums is a really great project. Not only is it one of the closest projects to the beach, but it is well maintained with amenities such as a large swimming pool, hot tub, and tennis court. What we like about the project is that it is very safe and fully gated. There is a guard at the gate 24 hours a day who restricts access to only guests and owners. Once you are in the compound at El Anclote, it makes for a truly safe experience for you and your family.

Our unit is a penthouse unit with elevator access. It has two nice sized bedrooms and two full sized bathrooms. Our unit is tastefully decorated in a "beach casual" mode. In our kitchen you will find everything you need to cook as large or as small as you like. Our dinnerware is Fiesta - with nice utensils. For convenience, there is a laundry room with both washer and dryer. All appliances are in great shape with central air conditioning for comfort.

On our terrace, you will find one of the best views of the pacific ocean in all of Punta de Mita. For lounging, we a have patio set on the terrace with lounge chairs and exterior sofa. From our terrace, you can watch the migrating whales in the winter months. You can also see Cabo Corriente and the bay going into Puerto Vallarta. To the right, you have an incredible view of "La Bahia", which is one of the best surf spots in Mexico. You can also see the golf course of the Four Seasons and the docking pier of the St Regis. El Anclote is really well located to enjoy all that is Punta de Mita.

Our unit sleeps four adults comfortably. In the master bedroom, we have a king size bed and a bathroom on suite. Like the living room, the Master bedroom has an ocean view and private access to the terrace. In the guest bedroom, we have a king bed and entrance to a private bath. The bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the unit, which make for additional privacy


. Unfortunately neither bathroom has a tub, but we are literally steps away from the project's hot tub. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are really nice size with ample room for storage of your personal effects. If you have kids or that singe adult, our sofa in the living area makes into a full size bed.

As mentioned before, our condo is fully air conditioned - with ceiling fans throughout the unit for comfort. Our unit has a WiFi internet connection just in case you need to check email or make a call home. We do not have cable TV, but we have a really great collection of movies for entertainment. If you have Netflix or other internet providers of content, we have an HDMI cord in the cabinet below the TV so you can stream when your laptop is connected to the TV.

We have always loved our unit at El Anclote. About 40% of the units are mostly owner occupied so you do not have a lot of anonymous people coming or going. El Anclote leans more to a quieter vacation and is really great for families. If you are into paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, or snorkeling - this is your place! Not to mention the world class fishing. Everything is within steps of the project and you can rent most anything you need.

A really great point about El Anclote beach is that there is a wide variety of restaurants with really good food. At the beach restaurants you will find the traditional Mexican cuisine as well as Italian, steakhouse, deli, and sushi. And of course, the seafood is always fresh. The restaurants on the beach have learned over the years to cater and prepare food for tourist, so the quality and cleanliness of the food is really good. If you like fresh fish, order the filet or your fish might just be looking back at you. lol Most restaurants have a kids menu with all the things kids love to eat like hamburgers and pasta.

Our project is about 20 minutes from the Puerto Vallara airport. If you rent a car, it is an easy drive on good roads. If you don't want to hassle with a car, you can catch a cab to the project and return the same way. This makes it easy for a day trip to enjoy the sights in Puerto Vallarta, but gets you out of the congestion when you are ready to unwind. The condo is also 15 minutes away from Sayulita, which is a little Mexican beach town that is reminiscent of Laguna Beach in the 60's.
