Your BEST Beach Vacation EVER!

Amy’s Scooter, The Beach house is your home away from home!

We are fully accommodated for a family or group of friends to stay at for any time of the year. Don’t forget to take a look at our Extras and at Oceanside Village, there are plenty of attractions for when you are on or off the beach. No pets are allowed.

– 1 medium size bedroom with a full bed and an adjacent half bathroom, a dresser, closet, TV, alarm clock and ceiling fan

– 1 medium size bedroom with a full bed, a dresser, closet, TV (with Roku, Netflix, etc. accessibility), alarm clock and ceiling fan

– 1 smaller bedroom with a Bunk bed (Twin over full futon), TV, closet, and alarm clock

– A queen size sofa sleeper in the Carolina Room

– 1 full bathroom: shower/tub, etc, and outside shower located near Sun Deck

Comforts of home:

– Kitchen: refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups, cookware, spices, etc

– Carolina Room: TV, DVD/VCR player, small stereo, central air and heating, a Sofa Sleeper, and other comfortable furniture

– Laundry Room: washer/dryer, beach accessories, and other necessities

– Parking for up to 2 regular-size vehicles with private beachside parking too. Additional parking for bike haulers and trailers is available within Oceanside Village

Convenience and enjoyment are what we strive for all of our guests, this is why we include:

… that’s the continued philosophy here at Amy’s Scooter. It always happens: you forget to bring something. Before you run out to the store, look around – you may find some coffee in the freezer, beach toys, or laundry detergent from previous Guests. There’s a small paperback library at the house so if you start a book and don’t finish it before you leave take it with our compliments.

Many of those that stay at Amy’s Scooter often continue this unique tradition of giving and taking – leaving their footprints behind for others to find!

Great value.

Had a great time at the “Scooter”. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The golf carts were a bonus. Neighborhood was quiet and people were friendly. We will definitely rent this place again.

Just right!

This cute beach house is in a very nice gated community and was just right for our family of 5...nothing fancy, but who needs fancy at the beach...the golf carts made it quite fun and easy to get around. If we come back to this area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It had clean, comfy beds and I appreciate having use of the washer and dryer. We had a great time!

Over Priced

Since our stay this winter I hope the owner has made major upgrades. BBQ did not work, bicycles do not work. It needs a major cleaning. The beds were awful.

Just okay

The neighborhood is great. However the house itself was not the cleanest, and it was extremely hot all day and night as the AC did not work. There is no privacy as the doors to the bathrooms have no locks and the doors are just slider doors and closet style door. Some appliances in the kitchen didn’t work. And the refrigerator wasn’t super cold. This is not a place to stay if you have more than 4 people.

Perfect vacation near the Atlantic

We just returned from a 2 night stay at Amy's Scooter. The house had everything that we needed and was very comfortable and clean. The area was exactly what we were looking for - some downtime near the beach! We loved using the golf cart and even took a swim in the indoor pool. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Vacation!

Amy and Jeff are amazing folks and their rental made our vacation a great one. The house had everything we needed ie; pans, silverware, Kurig Coffee which was a most. Very clean and wonderful area for our entire family. Kids loved the outdoor and i. Door pool for the dainy days and very easy access to the beach. Will definitely be staying in May and Jeff's property again. Special thank you to you both and we will see you again!!!

We had a great time and felt as if we we’re home away from home 😊

It was late when we arrived and everything went smoothly. The rooms were clean and had clean sheets and towels folded on the bed for us to use. The air conditioning worked great! The home had everything needed to cook a nice meal although we mostly dined out at the many restaurants nearby. Midweek there was a main waterline break and the whole community was without water for a full day. We were told by our neighbors what was going on but also the owner reached out to check on us and that was very nice. The water was turned on before we left for dinner. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. We hope to visit again in the fall.

Great house and Community!

The house was clean and had plenty of room. We really enjoyed being able to grab some beach chairs from the house, take the golf cart to the beach for the day and then relax in the evenings on the porch. The location in the community doesn't have a lot of traffic and is nice and quiet. I would recommend and will be checking availability when planning future trips!

Unpleasant experience!

It wasn’t as clean as we expected. Every morning we would wake up to dead roaches in the floor. At night they would be alive crawling on the house and porch very unpleasant! I would stay in the area again, just not in that house.

Cottage was very clean and roomy for the two of us , close enough to the beach just hop on the golf cart provided and ride over to the beach. People are very friendly in the area, we just had a great relaxing time.

Great vacation rental!! You will not be disappointed! Book now!!

We had not stayed at ocean village in years, but we made no mistake when we booked Amy's Scooter! My husband and I are very particular and keep things extremely clean, so we always worry when booking a vacation rental. We didn't have to worry here. Everything was extremely clean! I found myself trying to leave the place cleaner than I found it, if that was possible. I even organized the beach items in the storage area. It's so organized, you want to keep it that way. It was only a short walk to the beach, but the golf cart was great too. The outdoor pool area was nice, and I loved being entertained by the resident birds. The outdoor shower was great too!! Short drive to Murrell's Inlet which is our favorite. You have to eat at Hot Fish Club if you go. It's been our favorite for many years!! Never disappointed there either!! Thank you Amy and family for an amazing stay in your wonderful beach home!!

Our 2016 Beach Vacation

This the first time for my family going to Surfside SC, and we weren't disappointed. The house had all the amenities and much more than we were looking for with plenty of room for us . The house was very clean ( I am very picky) and all the cooking supplies needed to cook if we didn't want to go out. Plenty of TV's that everyone could watch what they wanted . Close to Restaurant , grocery stores , gas stations , and entertainment. Most of all the beach , just a couple of blocks away. The house had beach chairs and boogie boards that were available for use. Oh yea the golf cart, was a very nice perk also , we drove everywhere in it, with its own private parking at the beach. Very nice and I highly recommend this house and will be going back in April 2017 which I already have reserved for Easter.

Wonderful Experience

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our vacation stay at Amy's Scooter Beach House! We came down for the Carolina Country Music Festival plus were looking to relax and hit the beach. This house was super cute and pretty spacious for a beach house. It was extremely clean and super nice! We loved that it was in a gate kept community that we felt very safe and secure in. The visiting neighbors were extremely pleasant. The screened in porch with furniture and bar was our favorite! It was so nice to sit and have coffee/breakfast together in the morning or drinks together in the evening. The house had a grill and a golf cart which was super nice to have. The beach literally is a gold cart ride right down the street from the community ( which has their own parking right at beach). I would most definitely recommend this as a place to vacation.

An Excellent Family Getaway

Our large family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Amy's Scooter Beach House! From the moment we walked in, everything felt comfortable and clean. The bedrooms were decorated with a beach theme, but not cluttered with unnecessary items. All of the appliances were in great condition and everything we needed was available. The golf cart was very convenient and made for a lot of fun evening rides around the community or down to the beach for easy access. There are plenty of activities just down the road including the Garden City Pier. You will not go wrong working with the owners and their southern charm and hospitality! If you're looking for a family vacation, quiet getaway, or just some downtime, Amy's Scooter is the perfect place to be your home away from home.

Awesome weekend getaway

This place was just what we needed as a getaway. The house was so cute and cozy. It wasn't on the beach, but it was very close and easily accessible by foot or golf cart. The community is very secure and you feel at ease and don't worry about anything. We visited with another couple and we were lucky to find this place. We will be back!
