Kona Isle Condo

Very nice and quiet top floor condo with all the amenities one would expect. Very close to the downtown Kona tourist area and has a nice pool with a ocean front beach to relax on.

Lovely Condo

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Beautiful view from the patio and it had everything we needed for our stay. AC worked great throughout the condo. The property was super quiet and we never heard anyone else. The chairs down at the water were great for sunsets. I would rent here again if we go back!

Great place, will definitely book again!

Had a great stay here! Loved the salt water pool right on the ocean and the locals that frequented it were so welcoming, they even invited us to join they’re July 4th party they had at the salt water pool! The unit was very nice and very well equipped. The view from the lanai was as good as it is in the pics which isn’t always the case on some vaca rentals! Great little market right next door. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting something more comfortable and less expensive than a nice hotel!

Paradise at Kona Isle

This unit is a fantastic rental for your Hawaiian adventure. It is beautifully appointed, and incredibly well-stocked. The king-sized bed is very comfortable and everything is spotless. We've stayed at the property numerous times. We love its location, the grounds and the BBQ area is situated on the sandy beach, perfect for sunsets. B38 is far and away the best unit we've experienced in the complex. Everything was made easy and accessible by Kona Coast Vacations. Thank you!

Great condo

Property was great, ocean view was awesome, ocean front bbq area was awesome and we really enjoyed it, unit was packed full of useful amenities (beach chairs, travel bags, fully stocked kitchen, etc, etc). Only reason for not giving 5 stars was that there was construction going on in the unit below which was extremely loud and began at 8AM... every... single... day (weekday). Made the trip much less enjoyable and made it hard to feel as if we got the full value of what we paid for.

Wow! A really great place.

From the moment we booked this place, we knew we were in for something special. The level of communication with the property management firm that oversees this unit was phenomenal. They have thought of every detail - down to offering complimentary concierge services to renters. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is really commendable. The unit itself was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and very nicely furnished. The view of the ocean was incredible. This is a third floor unit without an elevator - but we had no trouble at all with the stairs. The air conditioning in both the living room and bed room was lovely. The condo complex is beautifully maintained. The location (just south of Kona) made it a great jumping off point for activities on the west side of the island. As it is on the west side, the sunsets (viewed from either the unit’s balcony or from the property’s non-swimmable beach) were extraordinary. This place really is wonderful!

Nice room!

Kona lsle have beautiful garden, and nice view for Kona sunset. Bathroom has only half wall?, so bathmat always wet after shower. But this room has everything and clean. New air conditioning in a bedroom and living room. バスルームに半分の壁しかない為、ドアやカーテンがあると良かったです。洗濯機はあまり大きくなく日本と比べるとうるさいです。 その他は満足のいくお部屋でした。 エアコンは、リビングと寝室に富士通製が付いています。

Great accommodations.

This is our second time staying at the Kona Isle. Our first time at B38. The complex is clean and location is great. We enjoyed the sandy beach next to the ocean and barbecues. The unit was clean with a comfortable bed, very good quality kitchen supplies, and we appreciated the beach chairs provided. Although the barstools and table on the Lania were good quality and attractive, we would have preferred more comfortable chairs. As a result, we made the mistake of moving a comfortable inside rattan chair out to the Lania, but we were quickly reminded this was not allowed, so we moved the chair inside immediately. For us, other than the seating on the Lania, the place was perfect! A bonus during our stay was the red glowing sky we could see from the Lania on clear nights that came from the Mona Loa Volcano.

Lovely condo. We checked in at night so it was hard to find our place and know where to park. I didn’t have the app so maybe they explained that. Overall, a good stay.

Great Condo & Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo and property. The condo was nice, clean, and had everything we needed with the exception of spices, foil, baggies, saran wrap. They do have beach chairs, umbrella and a Styrofoam cooler which it didn't state it had on the description so that was nice. The property grounds were beautiful and the pool was rarely busy. It had a perfect location right in Kona. We would definitely stay here again.

A Peaceful Getaway

This place was superb! From the cleanliness to the organized detail of the labels and booklet that listed everything from procedures and activities on the Big Island-I was astounded at the effort and precision given to this condo. The decoration was spot on, TVs were great, the view was amazing and I loved having the ocean view each day. It is located about 5 minutes from the Kona strip with many shops, restaurants and the Farmers Market and about 10 minutes from a Walmart and other stores. Some beaches around but the biggest one was 30 minutes away at Kua Bay. The A/C worked well. I would suggest having more blankets for the bed since the "comforter" is more like a luxurious sheet. The bathroom is cute but it does get stuffy in there. Located on the 3rd floor so be mindful when bringing heavy luggage. Local wildlife around including birds, geckos, and the occasional mongoose. Loved staying here and would return if we come back to the Big Island!

We were amazed at the unit and the complex. We highly enjoyed the peaceful environment of the complex. Well maintained, thank you Steve. Every morning we had coffee at the beach area. Unit was well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. A/C was good. Overall A+. We plan to return. Mahalo.

Amazing stay on the big island!

We stayed here for over a week and it was beautiful. Beach chairs, beach umbrella, fast wifi we used to attend a few work calls, and an unbeatable view! Highly recommend

Great, Great, GREAT!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! From the location to the beach gear to the air conditioning to the washer and dryer, it was perfect! I will have to say that one of the best parts of staying at this condo was the complimentary concierge, David. He was quick to respond with answers to our questions and every recommendation he made was exactly what we wanted. (At one point I honestly thought he was reading my mind... LOL) We look forward to staying here again!

Everything was fine except for the horrible wifi. It was almost worthless.

Again everybody was good except for the horrible wifi. Had to stay in contact with home and had to use up all my data and then some to do so because of the bad/weak wifi. Everything else was good.

For us, perfect in every way

Ever live in a beach town or really given it a lot of thought? Not a passing thought but really imagine living there and what you’d want and want to avoid? For us, B38 had everything we want and nothing we didn’t. It really is perfect. For us (50s, without kids/grandkids). We wanted to not compromise on beachfront property with awesome views from the unit. We wanted quiet but easy access to town. Kona Isle B38 delivers completely. The pool and the sandy beach area with chairs was an amazing bonus. It was so quiet and so peaceful and only a 5 minute drive to the main town. There were never any crowds or a shortage of chairs at either the pool or the beach. Just amazingly relaxing. Try getting that at a big complex or hotel. Furthermore, Hawaii is all about the feel. Want a corporate decorated box? Go to a hotel. B38 exceeded expectations even with the amazing pictures. From the little details, like the turtle etchings on the glass blocks in the shower to the floor tiles bringing the color and feeling of outside in to the furniture, inside and out, with the tropical themed carvings. Just incredible. Feels like exactly what one would do with their own perfect slice of heaven. And the air conditioning, in both the bedroom and living room are exceptional. Very efficient and very welcome. Everything was in perfect working order and more than fully supplied. Really, just imagine exactly what you’d want in Kona. B38 is it.
