Garden Cottage 22 ¡La vida es mejor en la playa! Y esta casa de campo lo demuestra. Este 4 dormitorios, 3. 5 baños Cottage tiene todas las comodidades para una escapada perfecta. Esta casa tiene un garaje para un solo automóvil, un dormitorio principal en el piso principal, junto con dos dormitorios de invitados y un camarote en el segundo piso. Entras en esta casa a través de una amplia y luminosa cocina equipada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, cafetera y barra de bar con asientos para 4 personas. Que fluye desde la cocina es un hermoso comedor con capacidad para 8. Fuera del comedor, se encuentra el área de estar principal, que brinda acceso al maravilloso patio trasero. El patio trasero ofrece maravillosas comodidades como una parrilla de gas, comidas al aire libre, fogones de gas con asientos y un columpio hamaca. El segundo piso alberga dos habitaciones de huéspedes, cada una con su propio baño privado, así como una habitación adicional con literas de tamaño completo para los niños. Las dos habitaciones principales para huéspedes tienen acceso al porche superior con muchos asientos. Otras comodidades con esta casa de campo incluyen: tienda de campaña con dosel de playa y sombrilla, 6 sillas de playa, juguetes de playa, juegos de mesa, DVD, parlantes Bluetooth, Crockpot, hervidor eléctrico, horno tostador, plancha para gofres, artículos de plástico, estante de especias y cualquier otra cosa que pueda necesitar. ¡entretenido! Acceso a la playa: la continuación del Proyecto de Rehabilitación de Revestimiento de la Isla Jekyll en el estado de Georgia, ha resultado en la pérdida temporal del acceso a la playa al agua a lo largo de nuestra costa. Todavía hay acceso a la playa de marea alta, parte del revestimiento de la roca. Recomendamos Driftwood Beach, ubicada al norte de The Cottages o solo a unos minutos en auto al sur del área de Great Dunes Park.

The property was as described. Nice, updated, easy for a short family beach trip. The hot water heater went out during our stay and the team was quick to respond and repair and negotiate a fair partial refund. The beach access was very limited. There is no getting in the water near the house even at low tide. There is beach but it has a rock sea wall in between it and the ocean. The kids enjoyed the community pool

Girls Retreat

The women of our family met on the island for some exploring, shopping and seafood eating. The cottage was perfect place to unwind in the evening and enjoy the screened in porch. Very comfortable!

Our Time at the Getaway

The house was just beautiful. It was comfortable and felt like home. We especially liked the big kitchen and screened porches. The neighborhood was really crowded when we were there and the pool was smaller than expected after seeing the pics online. The beach access was also pretty dismal. However, we really enjoyed the house. We just drove to other areas to enjoy the beach.

Very nice property on the island! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottages.

Great property overall! Our kids enjoyed the club house and pool. We would highly recommend this property to others. If you are visiting Jekyll Island and you don’t have a car, you can rent a golf cart from Red Bug Motors - best way to see the island! A couple of ways to improve our experience: no tissues, bath towels need to be upgraded and toilet paper should be made available (outside of one roll per bathroom for our entire stay)

Beautiful, clean but linens need improvement

Loved everything about the home. The area was nice and the home was beautiful and clean. Downside was the linens. Almost funny because they were the thinnest, scratchiest towels. One per person. No wash cloths. One trash bag. Top sheet on one of the beds didn’t even reach across the bed. King pillows with regular size cases so you were laying on the pillow itself. Gross! Maybe pilfering has been a problem but I would only come back with an extra suitcase with my own linens. A shame since the home and area are very nice and high quality.

Amazing Getaway

We had a fabulous stay with our family, 2 adults and 5 young children! The house was exceptionally clean and well cared for and we appreciated all the amenities including the bikes, sand toys, games, and dvds. This house is a 2-3 minute walk from the beach in an incredibly peaceful neighborhood. Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely, peaceful, and relaxing

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the kitchen and appliances are great, and the balconies and hammock are fantastic. We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, biking on the trail, and walking on the beach. We had a couple of challenges with accessing Netflix and Hulu with the remotes, so we downloaded a universal remote on our phone to access them. We also could not get the fire pit going and I did not contact the property manager about this because when I reached out before our arrival with a question about the garage and parking, I never heard back. This left me with little confidence that we would hear back about the pit either. Other than that, we had a great trip and look forward to visiting again. I would recommend this place to others.

Very comfortable, it has everything

They tried to think of everything to make the stay pleasant. Just about anything you can think of in the kitchen. The outside patio with grill and fire pit are nice. We enjoyed the bicycles very much (though they needed air in the tires and no pump). The extra refrigerator in the garage was a huge help to hold all our drinks. The only criticism, and maybe they will fix this soon, is all the bed pillows are very worn out. We had to make a Walmart run to get a couple pillows. And a bicycle pump. The property management was quick to come over and fix the cable/internet after a breaker tripped or something. Overall a great week.

Paradise

Perfection is the word to describe this property. Every detail is thought of. Every appliance is there. This is the best equipped VRBO I have stayed in. They have 7 adult bicycles. Plenty of beach chairs. The fire pit was a great finish to the night with s'mores. Pool perfect. Very short walk to the pouch. All bedrooms are top notch with baths. Loved the upstairs screened in porch. They have a Keurig coffee maker. If you are the next one here please bring a couple Band-Aids to add to the first aid kit. One of our group scrapped their knee on the way out and we did not have time to replace them. They even have sunscreen for you. It was so nice to be in this peaceful paradise during this destressing time. I did not want to leave. Thank you homeowners for allowing me to stay in your home.

Absolutely Fabulous

Garden Cottage 22 is a well appointed, meticulously maintained, comfortable and cozy getaway. Everything is here. And I do mean everything. Based on our many years of traveling, renting condominiums and homes, my family and I tend to bring some of our own stuff so we can function the way we are accustomed. We didn’t use any of it. Much of it never even made it out of the back of the car. The place is spacious and full of light. Two full size screened porches and a massive patio with fire pit? Yes, please! Bikes for all? Thank you! My two brothers, sister and all our spouses spent a long weekend (Thursday to Monday) there and we are already planning our return trip next year.

We were on Jekyll for a wedding. Beautiful, comfortable, well appointed rental, with plenty of room for all 6 of us adults and one little guy. Easy access to anything we needed, and excellent customer service from the realtor Parker Kaufman. Would highly recommend, you would not be disappointed!

Fantastic place to stay for families!!

This cottage had everything we needed and then some! Not to mention it is beautiful and so clean! My family spent most of their time outside as the weather was perfect for early October and still plenty hot enough to enjoy the pool and beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porches, hammock, and firepit. Having all the beach necessities and bikes available for use there made packing for the trip a breeze. My family and I enjoyed this cottage so much, my girls especially enjoyed the pool area and the cute bunk bed room. We can not wait to go back!!
