Islander Condo # 316 es un West View, unidad de oro que tiene capacidad para 6 personas. Evite los ascensores con fácil acceso a la planta baja y al estacionamiento a través de las escaleras cerca del condominio. Ingrese a nuestro paraíso tropical convenientemente ubicado para un acceso rápido y fácil a la playa o a su elección de dos piscinas.

La cocina abierta ha sido recientemente renovada con nuevos gabinetes, encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, y está completamente equipada con todas las herramientas para satisfacer sus necesidades de cocina. Reúnase alrededor de la mesa del comedor con capacidad para 6 personas o relájese en el área de estar con muebles renovados para ver el televisor de 42 "con un reproductor Blue Ray y acceso a cable digital. Mother daughter trip

The location and views were fantastic. Condo was clean but could use some updating. Couch and carpet need to be replaced. Had all the amenities we needed. Pool was clean and beach access was easy to get to. All in all we had an amazing time.

The unit was very clean and just as described. The kitchen is nicely stocked with pots, pans, silverware. The view off of the balcony is lovely and we loved hearing the night sounds of the frogs from the wetland area sitting out there in the evening after sunset.

The location is perfect!The closet door in the guest room was broken, but couldn’t use the closet bc of the bunks so it didn’t make a difference. Will def stay there again!

Nice views

The unit was fairly clean, but had very little in the way of necessities. There was no dish soap, coffee filters, only one extra roll of toilet paper, no extras at all. It was a great location to the pool and short walk to the beach. We loved having our own chairs by the beach, definitely a perk. The resort area was beautiful, nice sizes pools, games out side for the kids to play. Overall it was a good start to our vacation.

Thank you for your feedback ! We try to make sure that all of our guests have everything they need to make them comfortable during there stay. We do provide you with all towels (including 4 beach towels) when you check in, bar soap for the bathroom, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels and dishwasher powder for your stay. Being that all units are individually owned of most guest have long term stays, we only provide you with the initial during guest stays. We are so happy that you enjoyed the location and property. Did have some problems with the dishwasher and garbage but garbage disposal was fixed promptly and the dishwasher could have the detergent left for us to use but the dishes did not clean and I had to do them by hand. Also it would have been nice to have at least had salt and pepper there.

Dishwasher did not work and freezer would not open

The power went out and the TV did not work for most of the day. I reported the issues to the front desk and maintenance addressed most of the issues. Overall, it was OK.

Each time we have visited, we change rooms until we find one that fits our needs. Unit 316 was very clean, open concept, but no pantry. So, you are limited on avail cabinets. Lots of accessories too. You are close to the stairs, which is good for us. Great view of the ocean and sunset. The stay at The Islander is great! They take care of you with an amazing customer service. Very clean property and kid friendly!

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Allender for over 15 years, I was very disappointed at the cleanliness of our room. We found hairs in the sheets on the floor and on our towels. Even the toilet was dirty. The trash chutes were broken and this made it very inconvenient

Pros and Cons

PROS: The unit looked just like it is presented in the pictures. Location and distance to the beach was very good. Kitchen had necessities. Beds were comfortable. CONS: Immediately upon entering the unit, there was a strong odor of cigarette smoke. My daughter is allergic and immediately began to feel nauseous and got a bad headache. I made several attempts to contact the host to see if by chance another unit was available. Never got a response! After driving to Walmart and purchasing fragrance plugins, fabric deodorizer and medication for my daughter, the unit was bearable. I never received a response back from the host. Not good hosting skills at all, so this feedback will probably never make it to the VRBO website.

Great spot

Located in a primarily residential area so it was much more peaceful than the “tourist areas”. Beach was awesome, beach service was a huge plus. Guest services was very helpful. Best part was sitting on the patio with a view of the pool and bay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff at the Islander are always terrific, thank you. The reservation process is a breeze! I've been coming to the Islander for over 20 years now and love the location and experience. This year, I was a little dissapointed at some of the cleanliness issues. The elevators were having issues and some of the areas around the grounds were not as clean and organized as they have historically been. I was especially dissapointed at all the smoking in and around the facility since it is a non-smoking facility. The condo, hallways, elevators, and even beach had smokers and smoke everywhere. It would be nice if we could truly have a non-smoking section of chairs at the beach that was upwind from the smokers that way the smoke didn't waft towards those of us that prefer no smoke. I'll be back, but hope that the cleanliness and smoke issues are worked on for the future.
