Recién pintado (julio de 2018), brillante y fresco. El océano está a pocos pasos de su puerta, y las 7 millas de playa de arena son hermosas. Hay una nueva cubierta frontal para asar, ver los fuegos artificiales y los fuegos artificiales. El apartamento bien mantenido tiene un baño completo, cocina equipada y 2 dormitorios (camas queen). El mejor lugar de sándwiches en la ciudad está cruzando la calle. Durante el verano las reservas son principalmente de sábado a sábado. Los alquileres de invierno son de 3 meses min. Solo escríbenos.

Great location

Everything we needed. Very close to the beach. Short walk to Ocean Park and short walk to the pier. A bit congested in this area but we adapted easily.

Perfect for a middle-aged couple with pet

We loved the property so much we plan to book next years stay immediately! The owners were very attentive. Wonderful, sunny deck. Great neighborhood. Very close to beach. Perfect for us!

Great experience with the kids

Nice little nest! Location perfect. Close to the beach and fair distance to the Pier and attractions. The street is awesome, so is the neighbourhood. Surf was good during last of June/ first of July.

My sincere message to other guests is to avoid this property! The property is misrepresented in the VRBO listing. It is neither beachside nor lovely but is actually kind of a slum unit and depressing. No washer facilities are available as stated. There is no check-in book with wifi or welcome information. Host was unavailable entire evening of check-in. Basic necessities like bedding and towels were not provided. I have never heard of a vrbo not providing towels, washcloths, kitchen cloths, sheets, pillow cases, and bedding for guests. Since no linens are provided it appears some guests were sleeping on the pillows and mattresses directly and soiling them. There were hairs on the pillows and mattress pads. There were light bulbs burned out inside and outside the unit. There were wall sockets with no faceplates exposing the electrical. There was a screen on only one of the five windows. There were broken and not fully operational blinds. There was no basic necessities like dishwashing soap or bathroom soap provided. No complimentary water or coffee. We saw were some reviews with 10. Hard to believe anyone would give the property a 10. Yes this is a scathing review but well deserved. Given the condition of the apartment and the fact that the host was not available on check-in evening we vacated the unit and checked into a hotel. Had must more to write but vrbo limits the length of reviews. Host has never responded. Still trying to get a refund!

Our apartment is in great shape and we welcome all travellers to Old Orchard Beach to enjoy the seaside and the waves. We had the misfortune of trying to host these guests who we sought to accommodate in every way but unfortunately they were inconsolable.

Great location - DIRTY property!

If you would like to experience OOB but prefer a more quiet neighborhood within steps of the beach and less than a mile walk from the action, this property cannot be beat! However, past reviewers’ suggestions to clean and/or repair this property were clearly ignored! Absolutely filthy upon arrival (bedding and couch were especially gross!). Attempts to reach the property manager were ignored after we initially reported issues, promises to “be right there to fix this” and her not showing up. After many hours, we contacted the property owner. He responded promptly and attempts were made to rectify the situation (however, we had already purchased basic cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves before he was reached). Be aware, listing requires that you bring your own bedding and towels (bed, bath and kitchen). Don’t forget a bath mat (We forgot one) and kitchen towels. Cookware basic but enough for simple, stove top meals for two. No ovenware or lobster crackers. Will be requesting refund on cleaning fee … we left it much cleaner than we found it and besides a quick mop, ready for next client.

We appreciate the review. The apartment is professionally cleaned and the cleaners are very willing to return to the property if the guests would like them to do so. We have this request once or twice per summer. We’re grateful for the extra care taken by our guests but they can request the same from us and we’ll come with a cleaning crew for whatever issues.

Pretty much unhappy with this property

The online description was inaccurate. It said said it was clean and bright - but only bright during the day. Blinds broken. Door curtain dirty. Light fixtures dirty. Stove grate pans dirty. Fireworks NOT AT ALL visible from deck. Should have mentioned not convenient for elderly and handicapped persons (22 steps to climb). Shower grout dirty. Cleaning fee charged but we had to clean it before we left.

The apartment is actually very nice and cleaned prior to arrival. The fireworks are indeed visible from the deck but perhaps it was a cloudy evening or the fireworks show in total was curtailed during covid times. In any case, we'd be happy to host you again.

Home away from home

This apartment was a home away from home. Met all of my small family’s needs and is very pet friendly. Convenient walk to the ‘strip’ and was very much a private apartment. Checkin and out was very easy. Description of what to bring was dead on. Would recommend!!

Great stay in Orchard Beach!

This apartment was an excellent home base for our beach vacation. It is 1/2 block from a long, sandy beach. There is a small shop with basic groceries on the corner and it isn't far to the pier with rides. There are restaurants, and more shops along the way. As another reviewer mentioned, the kitchen sink is small, like a bar sink or boat sink. The living area is also quite small, and you have to bring your own linens, which is accurately represented in the listing. The deck is a nice feature. It worked well for us!

Great property and location

We had a wonderful week in this rental. It’s very clean and well maintained. You can’t beat this location. It’s steps from the beach, an easy walk to the center, and quiet at night. We especially loved sitting on the cute deck at night.

Smaller than it appears

Bedrooms were great! Bathroom good size, could use a over the toilet rack or something for storage. The kitchen sink is to small to do dishes and we cooked every night. Grill was awesome. We had a good time and made the best of it. I would say it is a 2 bedroom efficiency. Owners were on site and very pleasant.

Not what I expected!

I've been in touch with the owner and he has been no help at all. The place was not cleaned, the porch is not what it looked like in the photo. It was seriously dirty. Even one cleaning lady came out and said she had called in sick Saturday and the one girl "did the best she could"... She did NOT make it to this property. The cable wasn't working, the smoke alarm was hanging by wires not functioning. the bathroom was dirty as well. We walked into a sauna with no ac on until we got there. Thank goodness there was air conditioning. The sofa was 30 years old and you would almost hit the floor when you sat on the wrong side. It was a mess! The pillows as well were 10 years old. Pretty disgusting! The owner has not been nice to me. We had to stay Saturday but left on Sunday and would expect a full refund minus Saturday but the owner offered us a different apartment in September! What? I don't think so. What has me concerned is I think I lost my money because it seems Vrbo takes no responsibility for these properties. There seems to be no one to complain to so I guess I go to small claims court because I want my money back and it looks like the owner doesn't even care what we thought he said "it was clean when I saw it" (after the cleaning ladies cleaned when we left), the smoke alarm was fine although it was hanging off the wall when we were there, "the management company bought new pillows again after we left. I got nothing for my money and it was a lot! I will never use VRBO again due to this owner's response to my dissatisfaction! I'm truly disgusted by all of it! I know this owner bought it last year and has not put one dime into it. what a shame! They are from another country as well...

We are sorry that Patty did not have a good time, though we tried our best to assuage her concerns, offering her six new pillows (though the originals were less than a year old) and another week of stay -- free -- in the hopes that she'd be happy again. Everything was actually working well (Spectrum cable TV, internet, etc.), and we recently upgraded the speed for covid times. If something is not working (but we can help you make it work), we hope that people would be a tiny bit flexible and not become unhinged. We realize it's covid times, but it's actually really nice and relaxed here in Maine! The cleaner also came again and again for her. We sorry it didn't work out. There was nothing more we could do.

Perfect location. Cute apartment.

This apartment is in a perfect location, about seven houses back from the beach, one minute walk. The place was clean and updated. Comfortable queen beds, very large shower , nice deck with grill. Apartment is small but perfect for a small family. Pet friendly which is s plus. Close enough to the Pier that it’s an easy walk but far enough away to have your peace and quiet in the evening. The owners were very friendly, and accommodating. Definitely would rent there again.

Intimate Space

The property, the location and the owners were all fantastic. The unit is intimate, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everything. Very friendly owners. Our only suggestion is place needs a full sink for those wishing to cook meals and dine in, the sink is really a bar sink and much too small to do dishes and prepare meals. If that's our only comment, it was great! Thanks Richard and Sabine.

Great place in OOB

This apartment is great. The location can not be beat, on the same side of the street from where the beach starts. It’s pet friendly. It’s got a great deck to sit and relax on. Brand new grill. The owners are responsive and are great to work with. It’s the perfect size for a couple and a young child to share for a week of beach going fun.
