Royal Kahana 702 - Estudio con vista al mar Condo!

Aloha del paraíso! ¡Estamos entusiasmados de ofrecer nuestra hermosa suite estudio del séptimo piso en este popular resort de West Maui! El condominio cuenta con todas las comodidades que desearía en unas vacaciones tropicales (¡incluyendo aire acondicionado y una lavadora y secadora en la unidad)! La suite tiene una hermosa vista al mar y está completamente amueblada con una cómoda decoración isleña. Hay una cama king y un sofá de dos plazas que se abre a una cama para una persona. La cocina y el baño han sido completamente remodelados y cuentan con encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. La cocina está completamente equipada con electrodomésticos, utensilios de cocina, platos, licuadora, cafetera, etc., perfecta para preparar una comida gourmet para cenar o disfrutar en su terraza privada con su cóctel favorito en la isla. Si prefiere cocinar al aire libre, es bienvenido a una de las parrillas de barbacoa ultra limpias en los exuberantes jardines tropicales del complejo.

Desde su lanai Royal Kahana, las vistas panorámicas del océano crearán una imagen perfecta para cualquier postal. De diciembre a abril, no hay mejor lugar en toda la costa para ver a las ballenas escupiendo y rompiendo mar adentro. 

El complejo está a cinco minutos en coche de playas de clase mundial, como Kaanapali Beach, Napili Bay y Kapalua Bay. Se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de la histórica ciudad de Lahaina, donde puede disfrutar de excelentes restaurantes, tiendas y las mejores actividades oceánicas que Maui tiene para ofrecer. Honolua Bay está un poco más al norte y es una reserva marina que es un destino de visita obligada y snorkel.

    Apodado la "joya de la piscina", este restaurante frente al mar ha estado aquí durante más de 20 años y es ideal para un bocado rápido para el desayuno, el almuerzo o la cena.

Estos son solo los restaurantes y tiendas inmediatos al lado del resort. También hay una tienda local de alimentos saludables con un mercado de agricultores justo al final, el Centro de Bienestar Healing Hands, la cafetería local de Bad-ass, el supermercado Times, el supermercado Napili y mucho más.

El 23 de octubre, el complejo reabrió la piscina recientemente renovada. Zona de barbacoas que reciben toques finales. ¡Nuevas fotos vendrán cuando el proyecto esté completamente terminado!

Simple but great!

We stayed for 5 nights and it was the perfect fix. Not luxurious but when in Maui with all the outdoors, who needs that! Huge balcony with views of the ocean. Saw turtles from there almost every day. I had to get work done a few days and the internet worked well along with a small kitchen for all our needs. Would book again, thanks!

Beautiful property!

The Royal Kahana is great. Our room was great! We were surprised by the lack of Aloha. The no exception on the check in check out time during a low occupancy period for example. Also the front desk made it apparent that we had booked through VRBO so any requests we made for toilet paper etc. would not be accommodated.

Aloha Tracy! I am so happy you enjoyed the unit and location. I apologize about not being flexible on our check in and out times. We are required to follow new Covid protocols to ensure the unit is safe four our guests and staff and it does take some extra time. August was a very busy month for us. I know it can be frustrating after a long flight. I am very sorry that the front desk at the resort did not communicate Aloha! I hope if there is a next time that you reach out to us. We always do what we can to accommodate our guests' requests, sometimes our hands are tied but we make a real effort. We appreciate you and hope to host you again in the future. Fun 2 weeks

The condo was fully stocked although I was surprised there was no broom to sweep the floor. The air conditioning never worked but we were quite comfy with the lanai door open and the fan. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you for having us.

Didn’t have bed that was showcased when I reserved the unit

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I reserved the condo in May the description said and the pictures showed a king sized bed and a sofa pull out bed, however when we arrived there was no pull out bed anymore. I called and asked about this and they said they would figure it out but in the meantime they would give us an air mattress which they did and it was suitable but we payed a lot of money for this and to have to sleep on an air mattress was not ideal. Also the AC was finicky and the wind made crazy loud noises through the sliding glass door. These annoyances didn’t stop us from having a great time but it did not feel like it was all we payed for.

Our team will look into the noises you mentioned with the sliding door. 702 is a beautiful studio unit located on the 7th floor and has wonderful ocean views and a newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom area. The Resort features lush tropical grounds, BBQ area and is just a short distance from world famous Kaanapali Beach, Napili Bay and Kapalua Beach. Nice but no beach access and A/C issues

Clean and nicely decorated, kitchen well equipped but no staples other than salt and pepper (coffee would have been nice). Balcony view is partial ocean which is as shown, and actually better than I’d anticipated. Saw many whales during our stay. Bed is comfortable but very soft, so anyone needing a firm mattress might have an issue. Bathroom, washer and dryer, all top notch. The A/C was out when we arrived (for entire building) and had been out for over a month. That should have been communicated to us before arrival. When it finally was restored, it still wasn’t working for us (may have been thermostat) but we had only a couple of days left and the two fans were adequate so we didn’t reach out. Also during our stay a loveseat was delivered. We were contacted prior and could have chosen to have them wait till after our stay but figured it would be fine. Luckily we were there during delivery however because the delivery people weren’t planning on taking the old one. Not enough room in a unit that size for two couches, and that would have been a very annoying surprise to come back to. The beach area was very disappointing and not communicated well through pictures. There is NO beach access from the property, as it is all sandbagged, permanently it seems. The pool is nice but small and pretty filled with mostly elderly folks. The building itself is well maintained and the elevators were quick and available. The neighborhood is nice and convenient for exploring. A few things are walkable- highly recommend both Maui Brewing and Dollie’s. Some ups and downs but we did enjoy our stay.

Great…

Everything was great, except the lights on the next building at night are really bright and since we love to sleep with curtains and slider open(to hear the waves & see the beautiful surf) made it difficult to sleep, we adjusted to it, but would probably choose a different location..

With the door cracked , windows in bathroom open , and slider open the breeze was great . (Really didn’t need AC ) The porch is great whales and rainbows ❤️. The pool was not heated for the first part of the week . It was several degrees colder than ocean to the point where it was unusable.

It’s perfect. Just right. Everything was just as it was described. Very clean, kitchen well stocked bathroom very clean, wonderful shower, bed was comfy. The view from the lanai was awesome and watched the whales. Really appreciated the fluffy nice towels. The condo property was great. The pool area was incredible - right on the ocean - gas grills for BBQ - plenty of chairs and tables. Easy check in/out. Responsive and good communication with owner. I will definitely stay here again.

Aloha has left the Royal Kahana building

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit had very low water pressure in the plumbing. It was late at night and we had a minor plumbing issue because of the low water pressure. Because there was nothing in the room to fix the minor issue (plunger) I was forced to go to the front desk to ask to borrow something to fix the issue. No one was there so I called a number and called the answering service. They called back and said Angie told us to get in the elevator go to the basement garage level and there is some type of public bathroom down there. I was told later that the elevator does not work in the basement level after hours anyway. So I had to get in my car drive around looking for a store open that would sell a ridiculously overpriced plunger so I could fix our minor problem. The worst customer service for a third world country not just the Aloha State.No question the Aloha has left the Royal Kahana building.

Let me address all of this. First of all, the plunger set was right underneath the sink and if missing calling our number which reaches me 24 hours a day and is included in all correspondence would have sent assistance to you. This is a privately owned condo. You did not book directly with the hotel. You were our guests because you booked your reservation into our unit. This means that we manage it not the front desk and as stated in the arrival info, "please call us for assistance". We do not have anyone that works for us by the name of Angie or have an answering service. Our phone is answered directly and after hours messages are checked directly after ringing. The resort elevator works 24 hours a day because there is parking down there. Guests need access to their cars. Finally our Aloha State of Hawaii is not a third world country and we pride ourselves on our Aloha spirit. If you would have read your rental agreement, reservation confirmation and the arrival info email which all include our policies and phone number, you would have called me and service would have been gladly been given to you. Don't arrange car rental through agency

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was fine, but AVIS Rental car that was suggested was horrible. Instead of $565 for a fee I was charged $769 and it took 2 hours to pick up. Never would use that portion of the service again.

Aloha Michael, We hope you enjoyed your Maui stay. We are a vacation rental and real estate company not a car rental company. We just recommended a concierge to some of our guests. They are totally separate from our company. I have heard from guests that when arriving at the busiest time of the day during peak season that the wait for their rental cars was excessive. I apologize but since we have nothing to do with cars there isn't anything I can do to help that. We hope you choose to stay with us again and find the best deal for a car next visit!
