The guest constantly texted before the visit regarding nonsense. He had texted us over 20 times prior to even going to the condo. It got so bad we had to tell him to stop. As most super bargain price customers nothing was good enough, despite that fact we had reduced the price 50% from normal rates. That was a mistake looking back. The brand-new dishwasher was replaced with a loaner despite nothing was wrong with it upon his complaining. The guest did not shut the door property as it turned out. The management company said he may have done it on purpose to get a discount. The original NEW dishwasher unit was put back in after they left and there was NO issues. Guest was very sensitive and complained about everything. We wish him the best. The property is great shape and is great condition and location. The beach has had some erosion as most of the island but is very nice and convenient. That was also disclosed to him. The beach has never continued to the east since I owned it for over 12 years.. Going west depending on the tide you may have to wade into the water, but the beach in front of the condo is good. The beach in front on unit is nice and is easy access to the beach. Comparable hotels with no beach charged 4 times more rent. Seven Mile beach is the best place on the Island and this guest was used to leasing areas further out that were much less expensive. In any case, I wish them well. The price of that unit is an outstanding value for seven-mile beach.
