Spring Break Delight

This was our first trip to the island. What a fun place it turned out to be! The house was perfectly located, close enough to walk to the sand, or hitch a ride in the fun golf cart. We will definitely be returning as our stay was much too short to do all we wanted to.

Great family friendly house

We had a great time staying here! The house was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. The pool and golf cart rental were huge hits with our kids, and the beach access was very easy with the cart! I only wish it wasn’t so far so we could come stay more often!

Christmas Family Vaca

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It is a very clean property and having the golf cart came in handy. The pool was nice and right outside your doorstep. It is important to note the bunkbeds do have a weight limit which we were not aware of prior to booking. Not ideal for our large size teenagers but we were able to make things work.

Relaxing weekend away

We had a great time at Sunny Side Up! The home was light, bright, clean, and comfortable. Location was great. Community pool was quiet and great for our young kids. Can’t wait to go back!

Very clean!

The house was gorgeous, spotless and had everything we needed! Had a couple of rainy days during our stay, but we were happy to hang out inside and relax.

Perfect family house

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was really clean and has a great setup for a family. House was fully stocked with everything we needed. Being right next to the pool was an added bonus and we used it everyday. Having the golf cart included was fantastic and made getting to the beach and around the area really easy and everyone loved going for rides. Property owners were great at communicating and responded to any questions in minutes. Highly recommend this house, we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent Beach Stay

The home is beautiful and great location! We really enjoyed our time here and the communication with the management team is one of the best I’ve ever experienced with a short term rental. I also loved that everything in the house is labeled and easy to find. Some cons:The house is right above the community pool, which is only a downside if you are looking for a quieter location. It can sometimes get load if there are lots of kids in the pool.The golf cart is “included” in the stay but you do have to drive into Port A to get it and drive it 15 minutes back down the beach to get to the house. Filling it up with gas upon return is not included in the cost and is a 30 charge if you don’t carry a gas can with you. There is no covered parking and no access to the garage. The only grill available is a community charcoal grill, so make sure to bring supplies for that and also could be a wait at the grill if others are using it.Overall though, it’s a beautiful house and convenient location to the beach, Port A, and restaurants and shopping at the Cinnamon Shore development.

Great Beach Access

Loved our stay. Very great space to come home and unwind to after a day on the beach. Love the pool and everything about the house. I appreciated all the labels on the cabinets and light switches! It’s the small things that make the biggest differences. The smart TVs needed a personal log in, which I didn’t like, but who needs TV when you have an ocean of fun!!!

We also got to enjoy family game nights with the well stocked game closet provided. Don’t forget to bring your own sponges, spices and cooking oils..

The floor plan was perfect for 2 families. Everything was new, clean and comfortable. The pool is literally outside the back door and we had it to ourselves. The golf cart included was a great addition. It made it easy to get everyone and all the beach necessities to the beach. The beach area was clean and spacious. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Lovely stay in Port A

We have stayed in other homes in the Casa Playa neighborhood of Port Aransas and I liked this one best. The home was spotless on arrival and well-constructed (other homes I have stayed in there felt flimsier somehow). The home is well-lit and the location is quiet, you don’t get noise from 361! The pool is clean and easy to share with others but was also often empty which was great! I love how this little neighborhood is less expensive but still very walkable to Cinnamon Shore amenities. Things to know: the top bunk in the bunk room has a 90 lb weight limit. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment, plates, and glasses, etc but not cooking basics like spices. If you have mischievous teens, be aware the master is on the second floor and the guest rooms are on the ground floor. There is an alarm system but I wasn’t sure how to use it and it didn’t automatically chirp when doors opened. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful house

Beach Up Buttercup is a great property. It is a beautiful house in a great location. It was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools you might need for cooking. The pool being right out front was convenient and we had a great time. The only disappointing thing was the cigarette smell as soon as you walk in. We even noticed that all of our stuff smelled like smoke when we got home. We had contacted the management company right away and they told us it was just a musty smell but we all could tell that it smelled like someone had been smoking in the house. They did send the cleaning service out with a bottle of spray. It unfortunately didn’t help.
