Fun Birthday Weekend!

We really enjoyed this property! Management was very helpful and communicative leading up to check-in which was a relief since I booked soon before our trip. Even though the property is on the bayside, we were able to walk a couple of blocks to the beach no problem. The balcony was nice to relax on and take in some of that much needed ocean breeze, and a bonus was that it was close to our local favorite, Coral Reef. The unit was very clean and had all the kitchen utensils we needed. I would like to see some decor updates, but I would definitely stay again. Thanks Billie!

R&R Getaway

We decided on a last minute trip to the island. My husband & I along with my sister & her husband. Reservation & check in was somewhat simple, although you had to print your own parking pass- I don’t have a printer so we ended up parking on the side street, to avoid being towed. When we walked in, the place had a stale odor & it was uncomfortably warm. We think the odor came from the couches, they looked old & had several stains. The thermostat had a code so we couldn’t change it from heat to cool- we had to call the after hours number both nights & they had to contact the owner to change the settings. Our last night there, the AC didn’t turn on until after 11pm. The second bedroom has a window that faces the outdoor hallway and the outside light shined into the room, needless to say it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep.This was beyond the owner’s control but I have to mention that whoever was in the rental next to us woke us up both night between 2am & 4am arguing & banging the walls.Other than those few concerns, we had an enjoyable stay at the island but will not rent at Bayview

3 day bday trip

We enjoyed the cleanliness of this property. The view of the water to one side was nice. However it was not within walking distance to the beach, unless you like to walk pretty far carrying beach items. While everything was clean and working, it only had one small tv in the living room, neither room had a tv which would’ve been nice for relax time. The decor/furniture just seemed old and ready to be replaced, the table outside was so rickety putting your coffee cup down caused it to shake. I would rent here again, the price was fair for what was offered.

No curtains

The place was very clean but I noticed there was no curtains on the door it was a window doors that lead to the balcony no curtains and no mini blinds so I had to improvise and cover it up during the night they're also there was no curtains in any of the rooms so as soon as the light or the Sun came out the whole room was bright we could not have slept over because of the Sun and then the second day the in the hallway messed up and the water started running so I had to shut the water off in the main valve also the toaster and the coffee pot was clean but the inside of the toaster was very dirty the coffee pot also was very or the coffee machine and the inside was very dirty and I would not have used it to make coffee also the icebox the metal shelves inside the icebox were very Rusty and had a smell to it the corners of the countertops or the area where the coffee machines and toaster you can see that it had not been moved any long time as soon as I moved the coffee pot and the toaster away from where it was located you could see there was dirt and debris behind the coffee maker and the toaster

Great Location

This condo is on a great location. Condo needs to be updated, cleaning needs to definitely improve (some areas in the house have not been cleaned for weeks) house smells musty. Nice setup but definitely needs improvement on these areas. Management was great.

The building has no immenities, but that was ok, we weren't here to go swimming in a pool, we have that at home. We loved walking next door to the Porky's Pit food truck as well as the Coral Reef bar. Also, the views from the condo were great. You can see the bay. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you.

Horrible management team place was not ready till 2 hrs later had to wait in vehicle with kids and I’ve called management team to see what’s going on and she said let me cal them and call you back well I never heard from them and I called about 10 times and never had a answered the whole time we where there left messages and all it was ridiculous but there so fast to charge you but they can’t give you the place when promised I feel like they should refund the difference

Disappointing Condo Rental

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entering the unit,it smelled musty.As I turned on the lights & ceiling fan, I noticed the large accumulation of dirt, and dust caked on the fan blades,lights, and vent exhaust,the lighting in bathrooms were also caked with dust. The furnishings, and bedding were adequate but the cleanliness, or lack of was unacceptable. The next morning as I made coffee in the coffee pot, 2 cockroaches scurry out of machine as it heats up. The next morning the same thing happened. The automatic garage door would not close upon arrival,so disconnected from motor,and closed myself. The internet which runs the TV streaming services also stopped working the next day. Took the fam to the beach, and didn't work again until morning of checkout. Very disappointed, and won't be returning.

The only problem is the smell likely from pest repellent gas. Expect to see cockroach, which is not avoidable in this warm weather.

Wasn't what was expected.

The pictures didn't match property first day there was roaches on kitchen counter not acceptable. Place needs Exterminator would not recommend unit til remodeled.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: CockroachThe condo I rented was everything that I was told it would be. What overshadows all the good, was the cockroach issue and the agency’s response to it. After notifying the agency, they said the building manager was out of town. Nine days after I notified the agency, the building manager did come in and spray. Two days after I notified the agency they did bring me a can of cockroach spray. From the time I notified them to the time they sprayed I killed 45 cockroaches, many got away as they are pretty quick. Their attempt, in my book, was extremely minimal in the handling of the cockroach problem.

Hey there, I am sorry about the cockroaches. You contacted me on Sunday March 14 to advise of the problem. At that time, the building manager told me he would be over on Monday. On Monday, you contacted me wondering where he was. I contacted him and he meant the following Monday. On that Monday March 15, we brought you over some Spray to take care of them and building manager came in the following Monday to do a more formal spray. The issue has been resolved and the unit will continue to be sprayed to prevent future problems.

First timers to SPI

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property itself was acceptable. Location was disappointing. The view off of our balcony was a staging area for construction equipment, including cranes and heavy equipment. Neighbors had barking dogs that went on constantly into late night, and we know the management company has no control of that.
