Cosy Lewes Home - ¡ENORME y recientemente renovado!

¡Reúna a sus amigos y familiares para pasar tiempo en esta casa recientemente renovada de 4 dormitorios y 2. 5 baños en Lewes! Justo al otro lado de la calle de Crooked Hammock y a un paseo en bicicleta de la playa, ¡estás a unos minutos de donde quieras ir!

Recientemente renovado en 2019, disfrute de electrodomésticos, ropa de cama, etc. ¡Hay DOS espacios de reunión familiar! La primera es una gran sala increíble con techos altos, muchos asientos y un televisor. ¡El segundo espacio es una habitación familiar con un sofá cama para algunos huéspedes adicionales! El comedor tiene capacidad para 6-10 con una mesa bellamente restaurada y de fabricación local. El espacio de la cocina tiene mucho espacio de gabinetes y electrodomésticos nuevos. Disfrute de una taza de café por la mañana en el rincón de desayuno de la cocina. El segundo piso tiene 4 habitaciones espaciosas: 1 suite principal con cama King, 1 reina, 1 completa y dos gemelas en la habitación final. Los 2 baños completos se han actualizado y están completamente equipados con toallas suaves, geles de ducha, etc. Por último, hay una lavandería de servicio completo para usar durante su estadía con mucho espacio, tabla de planchar y plancha.

Esta ubicación cuenta con un gran patio trasero y un patio lateral, así como un amplio estacionamiento (aproximadamente 5 espacios). ¡Este es el lugar perfecto para una despedida de soltera o una gran reunión multifamiliar!

Loved our stay!

The house was great! Spacious, clean, great location, had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Staying there made our trip to the beach even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again!

Very spacious beach house!

We had a great stay! Though we were a bit surprised at needing to bring our own linens it wasn't a problem. The house is very spacious and cozy and close the beach and Lewes restaurants.

Relaxing beach trip with the family!

This house has lots of space for the whole family to spread out and relax. It’s a nice location, close to Cape Henlopen State Park. The only thing that would have made it even better would be for there to be a grill and fire pit near the outdoor space.

Lovely!

Great beach house! Easy drive to most things, and perfect size for a larger group of 8ish. Overall accomodations are less than other locations, but the host is very upfront about this and the house is priced appropriately. Lack of curtains in the bedrooms and a very difficult to open back patio door were the only noteable disappointments. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great Space and Location

Chose this rental for annual girls’ weekend. The location was central—easy access to both Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Exceptionally clean with plenty of space. Felt like being at home. Highly recommend!

Perfect place

House was just as mentioned. Size was perfect to fit our family of 9. It was very spacious with everthing we needed for a memorable vacation. Exact location we love. Close to Cape Henlopen, Lewes, ferry, playgrounds, eateries, and stores. We always vacation in this area. Our our VRBO home was taken off market. My gransons have named this the Brother's House. Hope to make this our annual home away from Home. Thank Katie for opening your home to my family. We all loved it. God bless.

Home away from home

Although we did not use it, this place had all the things we would need in order to have a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for what we needed and the house had ample room for a short family trip. Thanks so much Katie!

Close to the Cape, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach

Clean, comfortable and cool. Quiet, even though on busy highway to Cape May Ferry. Two big TV’s great with game-playing teens.

Nice house, clean with plenty of space to spread out!!

Came to Lewes to visit our nieces who are lifeguarding locally for the summer. Decided it would be a great place to visit, while spending some time w/ our nieces. The area has so much to offer, and the little town of Lewes is so beautiful! Wish the weather could have been better (rainy, windy & cold) during our stay, we would’ve gotten out to see & do more!

Huge, Clean, and Perfect Location!

We attended a family wedding in the area this weekend and this house was exactly what we needed. There were 8 adults and we had tons of space to spread out. Great location to stores and restaurants. We had dinner at the Crooked Hammock across the street and it was perfect. The owner, Katie, responded to my questions within minutes of me sending a message. She was great to work with. We would stay there again.

Great Rental

We rented from Katie for our annual Ladies' shopping trip to the outlets. The rental was just as advertised and Katie was quick to reply and very helpful. Katie provided everything that we needed and we had a great time. The rental is plenty room and laid out nicely for enjoying family time. We would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Great Beach Stay - Away from Beach

This was a great location and residence for us to spend our family vacation. The house was nicely located within minutes of the beaches (Henlopen State Park & Rehoboth Beach), shopping centers, and all of the amenity stores (Aldi, Acme, Wawa, Giant, etc). The house was spacious for our family of 5. The rear patio was nice and cool for afternoon/early evening relaxation periods. We arrived early and the owner was kind enough to let us in early. We were able to get questions answered in a timely manner also. All in all this was a great vacation spot and we thank the owner greatly for a fantastic week away.

Spacious House with a few issues

There's a lot space here--that's the positive. There were some cleanliness and comfort issues. The mattress cover on one bed was stained and had to be removed--we didn't put it back on; mugs in the cabinet were not clean; and the room with twin beds had no window covering, making it hard to sleep with all the light coming in. There are no comforters or heavy blankets to use with your sheets, so that's a good note for future guests.

Plenty of space for everyone

A family of eight adults had plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The place was clean and spacious. Beds: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twins, and a pullout sofa bed which we didn’t use. Updated look inside the house. Outside could use some extra care, and patio door to deck does not open. Good communication with property owner who responded quickly when the key code did not initially work. Bring sheets, towels, and blankets. Pillows are plentiful. We had a great 3 night stay. Enjoyed nearby restaurants The Crooked Hammock and the Big Oyster. Cape Henlopen Beach is the best beach and Lewes is always quaint and great to visit shops.

Not so Charming

The price of the rental, the communication with the owner and the check-in process were all great. There were several issues/problems with our experience. - It is on a main hwy, so a lot of traffic, morning and NIGHT. I'm not from the area and didn't realize this. - The kitchen was full of fruit flies, not something I want or should have to deal with on a vacation. We mitigated the problem within 3 days with glasses of wine. - The kitchen glass door was extremely hard to open, it had no screen which would have been nice to open and hang out on the porch or opening while cooking. Also, there is a window company right behind the property so they could see in side. - The toaster oven did not work. - The Brita water pitcher had leaks and leaked on the floor and in the fridge. - the upstairs smelled like pee, not sure if it was the carpet but not a great smell. - 2 BDRS had no dressers, so we kept our cloths in our luggage and our children organized there cloths on the floor. - The BDR with 2 twin beds, for kids I assume (my 2 kids took it) it had no curtains or blinds and was facing the street, not good. good thing I brought their blackout curtain - the 2 BTHS had hairballs on the shower curtain and tub - the 2nd BTH drain was clogged, standing water as I showered, yuck. Drano? - the bedroom doors squeaked when I open/closed, hard at night when kids need to go to the BTH I know a lot of these are simple fixes but not something I should deal with on a family vacation.
