Welcome to 1975! I think that may be the last time anyone did any work to fix, clean up, or upgrade this unit. The property manager and her husband the maintenance manager, were nice and easy to deal with. The HOA reps and the property were not nice. When we arrived we were informed the AC was out in one of the rooms. We were told by the HOA folks to deal with it. The property manager did provide a solution as fast as she could as well as gave a refund for the inconvenience. Then we were greeted by fleas in the condo. Again, the HOA says oh well. The property manager apologized. Again, the property manager gave a refund for the inconvenience. Kudos to her. The condo is NOT a 3 bedroom. It is a 2 bedroom and a loft. The beds in the second bedroom and loft are NOT queen sized. They are full size. Not an accurate representation. The bathrooms are disgusting! The front door has been kicked in about a half dozen times and the door jam is all broken. It barely closes and takes no effort to get in even if locked. The pool was pretty nice. It wasn’t very clean (bandaids in the water) but it was ok. The HOA folks are very territorial about the only shaded area at the pool. We were in the pool and were set up over at the gazebo. They showed up and squeezed us out and made sure to play their music to blast us out. This place is basically a fish camp for guys and not worth more than about 150/night at best.

Fun in the sun

We enjoyed our weekend stay! It was the perfect home away from home while my husband was in a fishing tourney. The condo is directly next to the community pool which is nice. There is no poolside shade. The condo is a little outdated, but it did not take away from the overall feel and comfort of the house. During our stay, we did have an issue with raccoons living in the void between the two floors. They were very loud and woke us up multiple times. We let the owner know and she said she would address it. Being in matagorda, the mosquitos were terrible outside of the pool area, so bring your bug spray.

We enjoyed our stay in 103! Beautiful, clean poolside condo with a huge living area. Comfortable beds and full private bath for each downstairs bedroom. The only downside is carrying coolers and gear a longer distance than most other condos here. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Wonderful place!

This is our second year to stay at Dream Daze! My men love to fish and they had a wonderful day fishing and then grilling in the evening! Very comfortable place.

Awesome family trip!

Overall I give this condo 5 stars! We always rent one of the condos when we go to Matagorda. They are just convenient to the beach, and the grandkids love the pool. This condo had plenty of sleeping room for our family. If there was one thing I would add, it would be some potholders for the kitchen, and perhaps a plastic pitcher to mix up lemonade for the grandkids. 😊

Vacation with grandkids

The location of this condo was “right on the money” for our grandkids—so convenient being able to see the pool out the living room windows. The bedrooms were spacious for our group, and were easily kept cool with split A/C’s in the rooms. The “host” was quick to answer any questions I had.

Enjoyed our Stay

Our family had a great time. We love the location right by the pool. The host was nearby, Very friendly and helpful. The unit was clean the air conditioner worked well, kitchen had everything we needrd to prepare our meals, And the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back!

As advertised. Priced appropriately. No hot water in kitchen and no water pressure in one bathroom sink…none, so could not use it. It was great though for what we wanted place for. Clean place to sleep and rest and hang out. Big fish in the pond.

Great getaway!

Great getaway to celebrate a birthday. Everything was as described, kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals and the location was perfect for beach access. Beach was clean even for a holiday weekend, busy but not too crowded. The pool and pool area were clean and not too busy. Helen was very helpful- would stay here again in the future. 🙂
