Perfect Holiday Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great! It was our first time staying in a PH and LOVED the extra space! We are loyal repeat Sunrise renters and cant say enough about the property. Can’t wait til next time! One thing I would like to suggest is the PH4 gallery on the site needs to be updated. It still shows a twin trundle when in fact it’s a sofa bed. It still worked for us (once we got the proper size bedding) but wasn't what we were expecting.

Great experience

Perfect size for my family of 5. Full kitchen with everything we needed for meals. Balcony was big, with great views. Big bedrooms, and having 2-1/2 baths was a plus! Very clean, and overall great place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very spacious for three people, and would have been fine for four people if there were two couples. Having two full bedrooms and baths was so much nicer than the smaller units with one full bedroom and a small bedroom with two twin beds and no closet or dresser. (Been in those before.) But the unit, even though I believe it was redone recently, is showing its age. The beds were quite comfortable but the couches were old and the cushions very thin. The kitchen was fine for our purposes, but the sink is in an odd place on the counter; hard to get to. There were probably newer light fixtures, but they were open so you could see the plain bare bulbs in them which were a harsh white light in addition to the fluorescent lighting in the kitchen. I would warm up those lights to provide a more pleasant atmosphere at night. The big showers in the master bath could use a grab bar and some slip protectors on the floor. The lint filter in the dryer needs to be replaced. It is rusted and black. But the worst thing was the TVs. There were four large TVs.. We couldn't get them to work, and finally had to call management. He rebooted the modem, but one TV just wouldn't work. Only the TV in the master bedroom could get regular channels. The other two had streaming only, except the Apps either had not been purchased or they needed a code which we did not have. All that was available was a free App which only showed unknown and outdated movies and shows. There was no information whatsoever on how to deal with the TVs. I do not want to disparage this condo unit, because for an older building with an excellent location, we still had a good time. And the management staff is very friendly and helps when they can. It's just that for over $8,000.00 for two weeks, the condo should have been a bit more user friendly.

Trouble finding Unit

Newly renovated property. Comfortable with good ocean and bay views from the walkway and balcony respectively. Main complaint is the check in instructions do not indicate where the Unit is located. The Unit designation is different than the majority of the other condos which are numbered with 3 digits with the first digit indicating the floor like in a hotel. When we checked in afterhours, we were unable to find the Unit, and no one answered the afterhours number. Fortunately, we found the unit when directed by someone who lived in another condo. Fortunately, the rest of visit was wonderful and uneventful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sunrise resort was fantastic. The pool, hot tub, tennis/pickleball court and shuffleboard area were all in good condition. And there were rackets, balls and other equipment there for guests to use. We didn't fish from the private pier or use the grill area but those areas looked nice, too. The woman in the management office was very nice and helpful. The PH4 unit was a bit dated and the screen doors didn't slide easily. But it was very spacious and had a nicely stocked kitchen. We didn't hear any complaints from our 4 teenagers. We all enjoyed our stay.

Great Location but outdated

The pull out beds were really uncomfortable and there wasn't enough bedding and pillows to accommodate us.During our stay the dryer went out and we had to stop washing our clothes/towels. The unit only came with 8 towels, so we had to reuse dirty towels.They do strictly adhere to the 10pm curfew. We had a neighbor below us yell up because we were talking too loud on the deck outside. Overall this property is in a great area and loved the close access to the beach and bars/restaurants.

Counters were dirty, floors dirty and seats of chairs of dinning table had food crumbs in them. We had an ant problem which pest control did handle mid week. Condo needs to be updated as well. There are stains on the carpet. Cleaning needs to be addressed.

Best sunrises in St Pete!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at the Sunrise Resort for many years in various units. Very nice location. Pool, hot tub and grounds are very well maintained. On site management and maintenance team (Dawn,Nancy,Steve) is great; very helpful and responsive. However PH4 is the least inviting condo we have rented. Housekeeping does a great job in sanitizing and cleaning bathrooms, kitchen etc. However, the unit is very dated. Carpeting is stained. The upholstered and leather furniture is stained and dirty. Dining chairs fabric badly stained. Patio chairs are missing straps and very dirty. Many of the towels are threadbare with holes. Other various things in disrepair that need to be updated/replaced. Kitchen appliances and laundry facilities are all in good working order.

New Year Sunshine

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo we occupied was somewhat dated and somewhat updated. It was large and open; just right for the six of us. The location is perfectly situated on Gulf Blvd, so easy to access the beach and easy to bike up and down the Blvd. There were a couple of maintenance issues which were promptly addressed by management (thank you!). The hot tub and pool area, as well as the grounds are well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return!
