Cozy Rustic Cottage

Looking for a quiet, relaxing, enjoyable getaway? That’s what our cottage has to offer! Only minutes away from Lake Winnisquam. The cottage is in a beautiful, private association. You can walk to the beach in minutes, and if you are interested in renting a boat, or dock, rentals are available through the Winnisquam Marine, 5-minutes away. If you are interested in Jet Ski’s, rentals are available through Winnisquam Jet Ski Rentals, new to the lake and only a short drive away.

The cottage has air conditioning and is professionally cleaned between each stay. It is perfect for families. There are two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and one bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a single and full-size bed. The living room has two futons, one queen and one full. The bathroom has a tub/shower. There is a kitchen table that seats 4 and a kitchen that provides a refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, and silverware. The outside porch is enclosed and there is a gas grill at the property. There are two televisions, basic cable and wi-fi is available. For nighttime relaxation, there is a firepit on the property, wood is not provided.

Guests provide their own bed linens, towels, and toiletries. There is no washer/dryer available however, Robert’s Laundromat is minutes away.

The location is quiet but there is lots to do in the area. Within 20 minutes of the cottage, you can enjoy Tanger Outlets, Weirs Beach, Gunstock, Rail Bike Adventures, Golfing, Hiking, Drive-In Movies, and Dining.

Great Stay

Cottage was wonderful. Very clean and quiet. Especially enjoyed the screened in front porch and fire pit. The lake was clean and refreshing.

We booked last minute for 4 nights in July to join family and friends staying on the lake. The cottage was as advertised and comfortable for 4 adults and our elderly dog. The large windows provided lots of light. The fenced yard was convenient for the dog. The kitchen is small but perfect for our simple breakfasts before heading to the water. It is a short walk to the association beach and perfect place to view sunsets over the lake! We brought our own bedding but it can be provided for a fee.

We enjoyed the stay very much. It was clean, close to the beach and quiet. It was close to restaurants, bars and shopping. I would recommend it to my friends.

We were a family of four with a small dog. It's a quaint cabin with a fenced in side yard. That came in handy for letting the dog get some exercise off leash or when the kids wanted to kick a ball around. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with cookware and storage containers. They had some basic spices, but I travel with spices just in case so we were good. The grill worked very well. It's a short trip (walkable) to the association beach in the neighborhood. The beach (and neighborhood) was pretty quiet each time we went. We enjoyed the fire pit on the last night. This was a great spot for us and close to Walmart and Market Basket when we needed things.

Awesome place to stay.

We all enjoyed the cottage very much. There were 4 adults and there was lots of room for us. We loved sitting out on the screen porch for morning coffee and evening beers. It's located in a very nice neighborhood and we enjoyed walking to the beach. The neighbors were all very friendly. We had a large trailer and there was a nice big area to park. I would definitely recommend the cottage for your stay in NH.

2023 Laconia Bike Week

Very nice house and a great location to all of the different venues for Bike Week. The screened porch was a relaxing spot for end of the day relaxing and for the one day of rain that we had.

Perfect little cottage!

This cottage exceeded all expectations! The owner was very communicative with us. Allowing us to park our truck and unload our motorcycles before the expected arrival time. She emailed us several times when neighbors had sited bears. We would 10/10 stay at this cottage again!

Lovely Cottage Couldn't have been happier

This cottage was perfect. My son and I were on a mountain biking vacation. This put us right at Lake Winnisquam in the heart of everything. We had enough room and weren't wanting for anything. There is a screened in porch as well as fenced in yard. We were able to swim at a beach local to this cabin after hot days on our bikes. Communication with Danielle was wonderful. I can only say good things and would love to come back.

Hidden gem!

This spot is a hidden gem! Very homey cottage in a nice peaceful residential neighborhood that is a short walk to the private beach/lake and nearby marina! Our group rented out a pontoon boat for the day and the location was key! Gorgeous scenery. Very short car ride to local stores and grocery shopping. The cottage was very clean and perfect for a small group. The fenced off area was very useful for grilling and outdoor games. We made use of the grill and kitchen for home cooking! Second time back this year! The host was also very accommodating and got back to us with any questions in a timely manner. Great memories and experience!

Peaceful quiet comfortable cabin beautiful lake

I loved the cabin soon as I saw it and the yard property is quite private even though it’s a corner lot. Everything was as described just bring your pillows blankets and sheets towels. The water at the beach which was .02 walk and clear water rather good temperature the owner responding quick to all my questions. There’s a great bike and walking trail close by called winnisquam scenic trail. Clean cabin I give it an A rating I don’t usually give A’s but this one hits all my buttons on a relaxing comfortable vacation. The cabin sleeps it says with futons like 7 but I would say party of 4 be comfortable not more than that and that’s my opinion. thank you to Danielle Joyce

Little cottage

Nice little cabin. Good ac wifi and tv. good location. The beds are very uncomfortable i am 5'9 185lbs and my feet come off the edge. Woke up every morning very sore. The bbq was nice however the home needs someone to clean the spider nests at the entrances good thing i brought spider ban. The bedrooms have no shades at the top so sleeping in was not possible.. the people before us left empty beer cans in the fireplace. When it was time to checkout. There was 2 vehicles parked right by my truck which made us uncomfortable and rushed to leave. Technically we still had an hour. We checked out at 10 instead of 11. And the walls are paper thin so any noise disrupts anyone trying to sleep.

Amazing gem!

It's hard to see from the photos how unique this lake house is!! Things we loved: - quiet neighborhood; the house is in a private lake shore association. - views; the house is not on the water, though looks out onto woods from nearly all the windows making it feel like it's not in a densely-built waterfront area. - beach access; there's a lovely swimming beach - cooling; we were there during one of, if not the, hottest weeks in year. Having a refuge of cooler air was amazing! - comfortable beds; you never know what you'll be sleeping on comfort-wise. The mattresses were all extremely comfortable! I would happily return to this house with a small group. There were only 2 of us this trip and while the house technically sleeps 5 in the beds I'm not sure how that might work.

Great stay by the lake!

Danielle's place was the perfect rental for me and three of my friends this past week! The location was fantastic. It was only short walk or drive to the beach and the Winnisquam Marina, which rents boats and jet skis to spend the day on the lake. It is also right off the main route, making it an easy drive to necessity or want, as well as many spots for outdoor adventure or entertainment. The house itself was also amazing! Having been professionally cleaned beforehand, it was very clean, as well as comfortable. While the house is small, it accommodated four easily and would comfortably do so for more. It also has a fantastic outdoor space with plenty of space to play around or eat and a great fenced in area for a small dog. Lastly, Danielle was lovely to rent from. She was so communicative, flexible, and understanding when I had to add a pet charge to bring my cat right before the trip. Also, she had everything about the check-in process as well as other information about the stay clearly and helpfully communicated. Also, all the folks in the surrounding neighborhood are equally kind! I would highly recommend a stay to anyone considering this are for their vacation!
